Yea- Coach Van-Gorder came and took tripple option away - and moved Foster from QB to WR. Tried to set up a pro- type offense - lost 8 times - 6 times by 7 points or less. Van Gorder left for the Falcons - and Coach Hatcher put Foster at QB. Results were better. So - even though we did not make the playoffs this year - it was pretty successful. Hopefully Foster wins the Peyton Award - and APP wins Championship.
Not looking forward to seeing App w/ Edwards next year in Statesboro.
Personally, I want an App player to win the Peyton award. But if an App player can't, why not Foster? He's a great QB and App won't have to play him again, so the SOCON should show people it's teams and players are the best!!! Even if it means Foster winning. Well - the Peyton award final three includes Foster - the guy from Northern Iowa - and California....Passing - Fosters #'s are not as impressive....but all other #'s are good....against strong competition.
No- I don't think App has much GSU support Friday....We could never three-pete...so we really don't want App to either. However - we can take solace that we beat the eventual champion - in Boone - if App can hold off Delaware.
Strange enough - Delaware looks a great deal like Michigan in Uniform.
