Heya I'm trying to learn this solo and I was wondering, for the first repeated pattern how do you get each note clearly without buzz from the others you just played? Do you lift your fingers to mute the other strings (it doesn't look like it) or do you mute them with your hand on the bridge?
@XpanterafanX Hey man, I'm muting them solely with my right hand, on the video of Marco playing it he uses 1 finger to bar the first 2 notes and then lifts it up slightly to cut them. Don't know why I didn't do that I think this way just felt natural for me.

Btw, I got most of that Deviate from the Form solo memorized, thanks again. There is one small typo in the Deviate tab, btw. In the first run, the D string should have a B (9th fret) instead of the C (10th fret). Just based on how it sounds and what it looks like you're playing.

Did you use Sfogli's own tab? In my opinion (I've slowed down his video from YT) he (and you, I think) skips one of the notes on the A-string that is in the tab.
@ieatcheez4breakfast Nope, it's exactly the way Sfogli plays it. But I agree, it doesn't sound quite right, but I think it's just to set up the next part of the solo.

@LiamENGL really? cause I kind of think that you are what we call in these days a hybrid rhythm/lead, because even though your rhythm sections are spot on, clean as hell, and "toneriffic" your leads are simply amazing especially in your scar symmetry covers. But thats just my take on it.

But if your passion is rhythm, by all means, go for it. I just think you're great at what you do and could easily be a lead player.
