They should at least limit the trigger pressure to 300 pounds so that when kids steps on them they won't explode. And also a timer that triggers the mine after a period of time, so that the minefiel will be safe after a conflict. Lots of civilians got killed and maim by mines.

A minefield can still delay battalions for hours even today. As they have to stop and clear them that makes them juicy targets for air and artillery. Not exactly useless yet. They sure as hell are causing havoc in the current conflicts. Mean devious little things that they are. I hate the concept of them but understand their usefullness.
not sure if they are anti-tank. they could be anti- personal by looking at its size.
