As a doctor let me tell you that pancreatic cancer( pancreatic adenocarcinoma) is one of the most aggressive tumors with very low 5 year survival rates. Steve is looking so slim because of the tumor consuming all the bodies nutrients and his immune system is "at war" requires tremendous amount of energy as well. This condition is called cachexia and usually is prominent at the end stages of the disease. Be decent human beings and wish him well. God bless him.

My friends dad knows him, he's not coming back till apple until july, but probably not going to make it. He is totally the genius behind apple, although there are many good people to take over.

The surgery Steve Jobs had for his pancreatic cancer is known as a Whipple procedure. Whipple patients typically have a battle maintaining weight. From what I can find out about it, Steve should be snacking all day.
Look at what Steve says in his keynote at Stanford Uni. He says his condition was treated by surgery and he's fine now. Yes he's worryingly thin but cancer can do strange things to your body. I had 2 of my close reletives go through cancer and my gran especially went very frail and thin. As many have said, Apple has excellent ppl onboard and if Steve IS unwell, they should be able to sort things out if needed. I do hope the poor fella gets better though, he's a very nice guy

apple is already shit. they cant make a product last more than 4 years. the ipod is the biggest peice of shit ive had a 1st generation ipod nano you know how many technical errors it has had plus if you put more than 5lbs of weight on it the lcd breaks ive had it replaced about 15 times.

The surgery Steve Jobs had for his pancreatic cancer is known as a Whipple procedure. Whipple patients typically have a battle maintaining weight. From what I can find out about it, Steve should be snacking all day.

Look at what Steve says in his keynote at Stanford Uni. He says his condition was treated by surgery and he's fine now. Yes he's worryingly thin but cancer can do strange things to your body. I had 2 of my close reletives go through cancer and my gran especially went very frail and thin. As many have said, Apple has excellent ppl onboard and if Steve IS unwell, they should be able to sort things out if needed. I do hope the poor fella gets better though, he's a very nice guy

As a vegetarian myself, and my girlfriend too, let me tell you that we have actually both GAINED WEIGHT since we became vegetarians. That is common! You don't get bigger by eating beef. That's a MYTH. On the contrary, many Americans are FAT because of... Fat meat. And poor digestion.

Oh yeah, I forgot telling why it's common that vegetarians gain weight: We eat more food. And we eat a lot of carbohydrates. And get plenty of protein from soya, vegetables, etc. Healthy or not, it's the way it is. So Steve sure ain't loosing weight due to his veggie diet. Of course his health is at risk since he got cancer in 2003. Recovery is hard, and maybe some cancer is back, who knows? But he sure ain't dead yet. And Apple will thrive even without him. I hope Scott Forstall will be new CEO

Steve is the founder of Apple. Apple is a big, healthy business, and has some really talented people in charge, apart from Steve. People who buzz about Steve being sick are like the people who think the president runs the United States. He does not. He is a puppet. Not to the Illuminati, but to his own interests, his madness, his family, his lobby, his advisors, etc. Same goes for Steve. I wish him well. I really do. I hope he gets time to do a proper farewell keynote.

He had the rarer pancreatic cancer that was 100% TREATABLE by surgery! Otherwise, he'd be dead already. It is shorting season on the exchanges, ALL the financial talking heads get out and talk down the market, and help the short positions at the Hedge funds...true. April was a disaster for the Hedge Funds. Only long safe long is oil, ruin the country line yer pockets season! Despicable.
