After looking at many reviews, I would say HTC Hero and Motorolla Droid have been given good score by their users. Any comment regarding this? However motorolla has been given less for its battery life.

Is this A-GPS or GPS device? Can I install tom tom or something like that ? I hate when my carrier sneds me a bill thats bigger than the cost of the phone because I used A-GPS....

most all phones are going to be assisted gps normal gps (non assisted) are ridiculously expensive and may interfere with the cell radio frequency. so no gps outside of your network area

well I've got my ezes on HTC Touch Pro 2 which I believe has full GPS capabilities and its 350eur with a contract with vodaphone (vip network here). A good car GPS costs here around 200 eur so its still cheaper to use a phone like that one for both purposes...

i know about the "amazing" function of the phone to know what you're meaning before you have typed any letter.

Well, it seems to be great to use a touch phone only with your finger. But sometimes a stylus could be helpful, too. eg. your hands are dirty etc.

I'm thinking, that it's too difficult to hit the small QWERTY keys with your finger. A stylus could be more precise while typing very fast.

uses the google apps versions which is fully compat with word/excel/ppt etc... Hero also has exchange compatibility

Probably from the low light conditions.  If it was brighter it would work better. That's how it seems with smartphones these days, especially HTCs.

I have the HTC Magic / G2 setup to sync with Outlook/Exchange and Gmail, both using with push - my phone often tells me about new e-mails before Outlook does.

No, I think I misunderstood you there. Whether you can use Push or not depends on your mail server. As far as I can see, the phone only supports Push with Exchange and Gmail.

Best video yet. Very informative. The last thing I'd love to see is the new music player. Specifically, how it responds, how it behaves when the player isn't in focus (screen off/locked/asleep), etc. (How it loads a large library would be nice too, but that would likely be difficult with a demo phone.) Will the device support a 32GB microSDHC card (when they finally exist)? What else... I think you've answered all my questions/concerns! Well done sir and congrats on the tripod. :)

I dont know why HTC always neglect the landscape of the TouchFlo. They did the same with Touch Pro unable to have a portrait TouchFlo and relaunched it with Touch Pro 2.

I guess they learnt a lesson from Apple's book. Just buy iPhone 3GS for the video making, yeah right.
