  • Burmese pythons are absolutely wonderful pets, except you shouldn't put them on your shoulders because every once in a while, they have been known to get scared and choke a person. A skinny 5 foot one is plenty strong enough to choke a full grown man.

  • in my opinion ball pythons are way better than burmese pythons

  • @KuroiOrb same here. but im not a big fan of big snakes too tho. i just love all snakes in general but the ball is my favorite snake.

  • I wonder if he realises how easy it would be to kill you

  • hey i just a female she a little jumpy when i pick her up any advice

  • they better not ban these epic animals me and m friend r gonna probally get one when we r older and ima gonna work at he Cincinnati zoo with these marvouless wonderful snakes!

  • you are not a stupid ass..but I have a burm and she hisses all the time too, but she is a moody thing!

  • Loved the video. Feel like it's worth mentioning that these are powerful constrictors and that such an animal should never be underestimated. I keep a female Green Annie myself, she's a bit unpredictable and skittish though very tame. I try to always have my Mrs around when I do larger maintenance (cleaning out her bath for example). Super tame does not mean completely safe, only that it is much more suitable than wild/aggressive/unpredictable.

  • hissing I mean!

  • you stupid ass..he is hosssing!! he don't like it!!

  • @jamiegerger That's a burmese thing. Even while hissing they rarely bite. Every burm i've ever held has hissed, but was as sweet as can be. It's just something they do.

  • Heyy, ok im actually thinking of getting a burnese python, a fairly big one, like the first one u put onn, but iv only handeled a snake a couple of times, and i think snakes are really cute, so reply to this telling me how to earn trust from snakes like that? so you can hold them and give them a cuddle :D

  • @britishjoe1997 id suggest not getting a burm as your first snake...

and snakes dont like being held, they just tolerate it(some species more than others)

  • @kyote19 Look, I was merely speaking about an article I read. If you must be angry, be angry at the article I read. I'm sure there are more articles out there too. Anywho, refer to my comments toward MasonC2K because otherwise I'd be repeating myself lol. Everyone is entitled to their opinion(like you&thats fine)and I have my own. I never said they attacked. They simply escape by mistake and just need to be returned to owners before they get hurt. That's all for now. Have a nice day :)

  • I'm looking into getting a burmese. i have 3 red tail. 2 females are just 9ft male is 6 pushing 7. anyway what are some nice burmese morphs under 300?

  • Nice burm. mines about the same size as the first one.

  • big snake

  • @MasonC2K (continued) It's in the news, I'm just saying. I'm not angry, but just putting it out there. You'll just have to hope someday in the future that maybe they will become less of a problem and people can be allowed to have them without much difficulty. It's unfortunate that it's come to that. People wil just have to fight to keep them. Snakes are cool, but I could never take care of a Buremese simply because their too big for me.Its cool if you can take of one,but their not for me.

  • @BlueDragonFuze they need to be less of a problem? these snakes are only a problem for 1 state in the entire US. Explain to me how that warrants a federal ban of any sort?

Whereas feral cats an dogs run amuck in cities across the country....how many millions of dollars in damage caused, how many people mauled and killed,or spread disease to humans? You couldn't sit there and even say anything these snakes have done is a drop in the bucket to the amount of damage feral cats and dogs cause.

  • @BlueDragonFuze [cont] and yes it is fairly unfortunate that us snake owners have to fight to keep our animals when we have done nothing wrong, some of us thousands of miles away from the center of all this drama and our rights to owning these beautiful animals is being hampered cause of severely ignorant people, pushing their "views" of what a pet should be on others just cause they are afraid , grossly misinformed, or are patheticly naive to believe whatever the TV spews at them.

  • @MasonC2K (continued) However, unfortunately there are abusers and people who don't take good care of their pets. Depending on the severity of the issue, animal control will step in and deal with it accordingly. Small domestic snakes are generally fine. It's unfortunate that the Burmese are making news because they get loose(not harming people btw).

  • @MasonC2K No offense or anything. I was just stating the facts from what I learned on the news. Don't get mad at me(I'm not yelling btw). Also, domesticated cats and dogs don't need to be banned. As long as they are properly taken care of and the owner is nice to their pets, there shouldn't be a problem.

  • Dog weigh better than any snake

  • Burmese pythons aren't that aggressive of a snake. I think they earned their bad reputation from their size.

  • true | v

  • Good fuckin job!!!! Show this world that snakes are beautiful creatures that only attack when threatened...I love snakes very very much and I feel like they are misunderstoof and fascinating creatures!!! The most dangerous animal is the human...

  • @TheTtrainor Um Im well informed! Google Burmese Python problem Everglades Floroda and you will be proved wrong. You are just mistaken. That's all I have to say about this issue. Goodbye and have a nice day :)

  • great video i would love to get a burmese i got a redtail boa and a albino redtail boa a ball python. do u have any regular burmese for sale

  • of course these snakes will be ''tame'' as long you'll spoil them with plenty of food.

  • @NZpower018 u dont need to spoil them u feed them a huge or xl rabbit once a week

  • @562bitchkilla but still, I doubt a snake would have any feelings to their owner. if people want a pet that are loyal to their owner, I say get a dog.

  • @NZpower018 some snakes have feeling towards owners i have a full grown boa and ball pythons i can hold them whenever raised them from a baby why get a dog wen its going to die in 10 years

  • @562bitchkilla but snakes dont greet you when you get back home, or lick your face to cheer you up when you're sad, or guard you and your home, or play with you. so wouldn't those 10 years be worth it?

  • @NZpower018 you would have to own a snake to see how interesting they are snakes can gaurd leave it out all night and i would doubt any one would rob a house with snakes and id rather have a snake rather keep something for 20+ years then a dog snakes do greet to they do lick

  • burmese pythons are a joy to own i love them. but so many dickhead keep them like kids and people that never kept snakes before. burmese pythons are only for experinced reptile keepers. the burmese python days are numbered in the evrglades there get wiped out. i have kept reptiles for 15years and i would hate burmese pythons to be banned . in my opinon there should be a free license that you should get if your a experinced handler. im sorry it has come to this but some many idiots keep them.

  • @shrekish Hmm well you see....it's becoming a real big problem in the Everglades in Florida. Google about it and you'll see. No not regulate, but perhaps a license to own one(like a gun), because with how big the problem is. I still think only animal handlers should have them. Each to their own. It's a highly debatable issue so we'll see what happens.

  • Nice snakes man but best stop the breeding cos you can't sell them out of state. Glad I ain't in the US.

  • Amazing bro, but what would you do if that thing got pissed off, its big enough to eat you.

  • Terrible pets!! Because of people owning them, they have spread loose in the Everglades in Florida and have killed massive populations of other animal species(even though people arent in danger). These Burmese should be banned and be only kept where they naturally live or by professional animal handlers!! An ecological mess! On Jan 23 US Fish&Wildlife service have already began the process to ban them. Awesome :)!

  • @BlueDragonFuze They shouldn't ban them just regulate and make immature owners pay hefty fines!

  • @BlueDragonFuze You are what we call an misinformed idiot my good sir.

  • @BlueDragonFuze By that logic dogs and cats should be banned too. Cats especially. They kills so many birds and lizards and other small animals every year. How many are euthanized every year due to overpop? And not just FL, everywhere they are! Where's the uproar for them? Well their cute and fluffy and popular so no one will touch them. But snakes are eww gross to a lot of people so they don't mind if a snake gets a fed ban for a FL only problem.

  • i have a few burms and this year was gonna be my first year to breed them...,but this new law f*cked everything up..

  • they make great pets if you can take care of them and if you can house them properly and feed them what they need when they get really big.

  • dont grab its head like that dick head

  • @HarlemzzFinest calm down lol the snakes dont really care. hes trying to make a point that they arnt vicious as everyone likes to believe.

  • acually about 60lb

  • burmese pythons dont need large enclosers as they are sluggish and heavy snakes.

i suppose there now heavier than 80lb

  • Hello to the maker of this video . You have two wonderful looking Pythons.

I like the colour of their yellow skin. I'm amazed at how big Pythons can get.

Those snakes are huge. You look as though you keep them well fed.

I'm not sure how heavy those snakes would be to carry? Do you have a bigger enclosure for the two snakes it looks a bit cramped in there .

  • Flip, I couldn't handle a snake that size :p

  • cool snake what other big snakes do you have?

  • don't they wrap u in their coils & strangle you?

  • Fwcjoe shut up

  • holy fuck how heavy are they?

  • there are beautiful snakes you have but burmese pythons dont make brillant pets and only for experinced handlers. males usally get 10-13ft females 13-16ft+! there popularity are getting out of control in the usa and should not be recommended for inexperinces reptile keepers

  • Such a beautiful animal . Its a shame that it is set with a negative representation because of its Everglades invasion . Its not their fault, but the people who dumped them there :(

  • i cant wait until my little albino buddy gets that big, that is a very beutiful snake. love it like i love mine

  • since you breed, i figure you'd know, why are there so many albinos bred? why is that all i ever see?

  • I want one now :(

  • hey

i just wanted to ask a question i have a beautiful Burmese python that i had from the first day it hatched she is really nice but im scared that by time she becomes a little bitty , is it right or she would be tame ??

  • could I buy one from you?

  • ur burms are beautiful :) great job^.^

  • Hey what's up? I was checking out your video and you said that you breed burmese pythons, I have a 5 foot red tail boa and was thinking a get a baby burmese next. How much do you sell the babies for? If you can please send me some info to my e-mail at barrytrammell@ymail.com thanks look forward to talking to you take care and Merry Christmas

  • Great Video! Damn that's a lot of snake

  • wat size do u usally need for tub sizing thhat size

  • How legit do you think i the notion that the Burmese Python is a threat to the Everglades and it's wildlife....The histeria to eradicate it from the park?

  • @6400az I just read a book on the subject. It will be impossible to eradicate them and cost us millions of dollars attempting to do so. The situation is analogous to the Brown Snakes in Guam. They spent millions and guess what they are still there. Cold snaps kill off large percentages of Burms in Florida; however, some did survive the last one. In general it is HIGHLY unlikely for them to spread anywhere else but Southern Florida.

  • @OblivionIce I live in Miami ,they hope to control their spreading but they don't think they'll eradicate them, maybe the native animals help control them as the winter of 2009/10 whiped out many of them.

They may become more resitant to the cold in time. Personally, I have a problem with the frenzied killing of the pythons. The way people relish killing them.Just don't think it's right.

Do you mean the brown snake and what it is doing to the native birds in Hawaii??

  • @6400az I'm so glad you brought up the fact that they do kill thousands of them. Where is PETA on this or another organization. There is a basically no regulation hunting season and tons of "scientific" euthanasia. Ironically those who go out and kill the Burmese sometimes eat the meat which is high in mercury and thus gives the killers mercury poisoning. I have more respect for the snakes then I do the people.

  • @OblivionIce

The problem the pythons have, is that snakes make the perfect bad guy!! More than a hero, people want an enemy even more and what better enemy than a huge snake that eats aligators and is " destroying" the Everglades. They're also the perfect subject for the glory seeker. "Look everyone, I killed a monster snake, humanity is now saved".

The wild, or feral ,python have a uphill climb to say the least. I don't know of too many who are not on the " kill the python" bandwagon.

  • @6400az "Destroying the Everglades" Right! Only 2% is left in pristine condition because humanity messed it up first with rats and pigs and of course high ways.

  • @6400az In addition, my Burmese act exactly like "albinoburms" do. They are great pets and currently my favorite snakes out of my collection.

  • Comment removed

  • Are they easy to look after? Are they agressive? Are they any good for a begginer? How much do they cost?

  • @WHIZZYWUZZA no,during feeding, definitely not, the snakes not much but the feeding is very expensive(rabbits)

  • @MorbidPuppy Thanks for info

  • 4:15 tiny but amazing

  • hi, great video! can anyone please help me i want to get one of those large plastic containers like the one this guy used tovkeep the first burm he showed us! been looking everywhere for them!!

  • @Mrsaijil theres a place called scales and tails you can look it up they have pet snakes, spiders, and other reptiles they also sell the escape proof cages and the food

  • beautiful snakes!!!

  • lol your snake isnt chill :D otherwise they wont do "pssssshhh" sry dont know english word for "fauchen".....

  • You can breed albino with albino right?

  • I have a 19' African rock if you killed by a snake your a idiot no way around it you face more danger owning a dog.

  • I wish my male albino Burmese Python was tame

He is 10 foot and trys to bite me every time

  • Would you please do a care vid?

  • these containers are too small for the animals man.

  • Your snakes are BEAUTIFUL!!! I wish I could own a burmese python, but they're illegal where I am

  • that is what another guy said until police found him strangled 2 death by his burm.....lol! still luv them 2 death tho!! fav animals in the world

  • Can it blend?

  • your sooo right i mean iv got an 18 foot 9 year old and she aloud me to use he to do squats !

  • I dont usually comment on videos, however i just have to say, beautiful snakes both visually and temperament wise!

  • but can it blend

  • cant SOMEONE tell me if 3.5ft long 12 inch wide 12 inch tall cage is good for albino burmese python ? please help

  • @zzGreenz for a newly hatched then yes but I would go bigger. but when its an adult, it will need a minimum of 8ft x 4ft x 4ft. but as always, the bigger the better ;) Hope it helps

  • @WMRProduction ok thanks

  • "im gunna go ahead and get a bigger one" as you do lol

    loving it man *thumbs up*

  • A BIGGER ONE!!!!!!!!!

  • to all the people who think theys snakes are evil and try to kill humans all the time here u go proving u wrong once again

  • Beautiful snakes.

  • How much experiance would you recommend for one? I have a ball python and was planning on getting a blood and then probably a savanna or something like that. If they were healthy would i be safe to get a burm?

  • how much do your burmese babys go for

  • i had a burmese python once :) his name was noodle xD

  • thumbs up if you think it looks like laughy taffy

  • I under stand what you mean and i too love burmes pythons but my parents wont buy me one

  • those are georgous animals. they have pretty much the same temperment as my three year old ball python Jules.

  • Really nice Burms man take a look at mine I only got two up right now I'm still pretty new to YouTube but I have a quite a few more Burms I will upload soon tell me what you think!

  • Great video. I bought my first burm after 7 years of experience of other snakes. I have rat snakes, ball pythons and a boa constrictor imperator. My burm is only 8 months old and used to hiss a lot every time when I opened the terrrarium door but only after a week of handling he stopped hissing and is already tame even when he's just a baby, even tamer than my adult boa that has pretty good temper too. Burms are beautiful and they do make great pets, as long as the owner knows how to handle them

  • Hey cool python breeder dude. Thousands of morons are dumping them in the Everglades..they are invasive species killing birds and hatchlings. You are part of this problem. Stop breeding!

  • @58windsong you idiot, the problem is ppl's ignorance not breeder's love for animals *facepalm

  • @58windsong no the problem is the inexperienced idiots who buy the burmese thinking "ooh what a cute snake!" not knowing they grow to 12-16 feet and a hundred pounds or so. and then cant feed them or are scared of them. so no its not the breeders its ignorant people.

  • I was wondering what a good starter snake is?

I have never owned a snake and I don't want to get anything that is not good for beginners.

I have a pretty calm lifestyle and have wanted a snake since I was a child but my parents would never allow it. Now that I live on my own I am seriously thinking of buying one.

  • @darkmusician0123 I think corn snakes are probably the best starter snakes around. I cared for several wild-caught corn snakes as a child, under the supervision of my father who had experience with snakes. Even wild they are as tame and docile as can be. Because they were wild, ours would only eat live mice. However, captive bred snakes are often raised on frozen mice these days, which makes keeping snake food around easy.

  • @darkmusician0123 Also, because corn snakes are native to the US, maintaining a proper environment for them can be much easier than many exotic snakes. Hope this helps!

  • @darkmusician0123 I started with a Royal (a.k.a. ball) Python and it has been a great beginner snake for me.

  • you obviously love your snakes but im just wondering why the ones from 08 were in such small enclosures?

  • I have a Granite Burm and he is puppy dog tame. Great video

  • My burmese python only gets a little hissy one in awhile and I'm pretty sure thats from the previouse owner's lack of working with, but my burmese I tamed with about a week of daily handling.

  • i am actually considering getting a baby burm but i want to know if they really are less of a threat then an adult red tail

  • @drakninja42 I've had burms and balls. I would suggest getting a red tail boa over a burmese python.

  • I just want to say that this is a great video. I've always loved Burmese pythons, and thought of them as the "gentle giants" of the snake world, despite what some people say. They're awesome snakes as I have seen in my limited experience with them (at the place I volunteered at they mostly had reticulated pythons) and in your videos.

  • Makes e want a snake tats a python

  • Id really love to have one of these some day, im 13 so right now all I have is a baby red tail boa, but someday I hope to get either this or a reticulated python, or green anaconda, still cant decide on which lol

  • @CrestedBoa i have a ball python and have been saving for my 16th birthday when i get a burm :)

  • so the male albino reached its peak size in this video?i am thinking about getting one

  • Corn snake or ball python

  • What's a good snake for a first snake ever plz tell e

  • @skatertv21 Cornsnake, ratsnake, kingsnake or a ball python are all very good.

  • @skatertv21 And a milksnake.

  • great presentation on burms i am also a collector, thank you for showing the true side of burms.

  • Like a Boss.

  • The guy saying it's the size of his penis first off you wished loser secondly your retarded for posting here!

  • when you took that second female out that male gotta super interested all of the sudden lol

  • Thats just about the size of my penis

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit that's a big snake!

  • I watched that video and they did say that Burmese pythons are great pets, but that particular snake was mean. Anyways tho great video you seem very knowledgable

  • nice burms, just got into them myself. i have 2 normal het albinos and one green het for albino all males but still..none are agressive and they are babies

  • You had said you breed them.. How much do you sell the babies ? I'm in search of one for the best deal I can find and yours seem like wonderful personalitys so I'm sure the babies are docile as well.. Please Elian me at shortythedog@yahoo.com

  • Yeah, they're very nice snakes... however if your not prepared to deal with a 16 foot long snake, then you have no right owning one. They are probably one of the most commonly abandoned exotic pets out there.

There are NOT for fun. There are very large animals.

  • I would get one but im scared ill lose them in a small crack

  • Gorgeous snakes brahhhski

  • I love the look of these pythons you got there. However IF I ever get one I think I will be starting out with a smaller one first.

  • i have never owned a snake but are the yellow pythons albino

  • is it ok if i put my baby burmese with my 2 year old ball python

  • @Mr013Aaron

no way! cage all ur snakes seperately if you cant afford that then you shouldnt keep snakes

  • gorgeous burms,id love to have one some day. Though I only have 2 snakes right now a brazilian rainbow boa and a red tail boa,but one day =)

  • Comment removed

  • could a sixteen year old handle one?

  • I love that you are promoting burms, but you shouldn't say they make great pets, some people who shouldn't have burms might get one...

  • I love what your trying to prove but still I would atleast touch them with a board first so they know your there cause I forgot to do that once and I got tagged cause I accidentally scared it but good vid

  • what cage size to you have to your biggest burm ?

  • i love my albino burmese python... he is about 10 months old and is 5ft.. cant wait til he is bigger and i can get him a mate.. is very tame. dosnt even hiss.. they are the perfect snake. i started on corn snakes but they just didnt do it for me...

  • I have a boa. So I think I'll be ok with a Burmese.

  • how much do u charge for a burmese and do u recomend a burmese to a begginer im 17 and a big BOY so i think i maybe able to handle one

  • yeah nothing makes better pets than a illegal python

  • if someone has had a ball python over 7 years u think i'll be ok with a burmese

  • the third snake you brougth out, the '08 one, is there anyway you can keep them at that size or will they get bigger regardless of the tank they are in?

  • In my opinion burms and any large snake make great pets but only for certain people. I dont think they make great pets for the average reptile keeper. Though one day id love to have either a retic or a green anaconda.

  • They do make great pets. Ive had mine now for 2 years now and have had no problems out of him

  • Is it wrong of me at 1:33 to want him to get biten for talking so much. hahhaa.

  • AWESOME VIDEO!! Really appreciate you shedding some positive light on these GORGEOUS snakes!!! I think you even convinced me to get one some day!

  • Do you feed in the cages

  • He is stnning. Great job!

  • There was an episode of 'Fatal Attractions' (a reality show about idiots who get killed while mishandling their exotic pets) that featured a man getting killed by his pet Burmese python and everyone I know who saw it has suddenly decided they are a herpetologist and started giving me lectures about the dangers of keeping snakes (the snake on the show was severely underfed and the owner was drunk, btw). Thanks for posting a video showing how gentle these animals really are if well cared for.

  • that is a beautiful snake

  • I'm interested in purchasing one of the babies. Anyway I can get your information?

  • Thanx Vanished Prune for the advice. Its always good when those interested in reptiles can come together and share tips advice and wisdom. This makes for safe, responsible ownership and benefits the reptiles we love.
