It's been 4 years since release, and this game still pwns most other games. It's like they took Skyrim, stripped off all the boring parts, and then pumped it up 4 times. And that's just the general gameplay - in addition there's stealthy infiltration into enemy fortifications, epic battles against entire armies and small boss battles everywhere that's just keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's a truly amazing game.

If they had that then this game would be 1 of my fav games of all time.

Finishing this game now, AWESOME! I'm so glad I ignored the critics, because I would have missed out on this experience. This has become one of the most fun times I've had playing a game. Very underrated.

Hell yeah, more Medieval games like this should be made. There already is God of War (Greek/Spartan), Viking: Battle for Asgard (Norse/Viking); what other cool medieval mythologies are there that would be cool for making games for? They should do one that has to do with Aztec mythology, that would be awesome.

I find it very entertaining and the blood and gore makes it all perfect I wish they fixed the intro though I can't quite relate to the intro of this game but overall this has to be 1 of the top 5 RPG games ive played but of course no one can beat the elder scrolls

Just got the game and I enjoy this very much it is a lot of fun.

Viking and God of War have set new standards for game play I hope they make more of this suff.

@itsme7221 Totally agree, sure, some of the missions were repetitive and he runs VERY slowly, but the graphics and draw distance are beautiful, the combat is fun and the massive sieges belong to the most fun moments I've ever had in games. But the graphics and design is the best part, just look at the waterfalls! I'd buy a sequel on the day of release, but I highly doubt there'll be any :(

@SwedishBerzerker He said he was doing the characters and stuff. His name is Doku, and he makes texture packs (mods that change the graphics) for a game called Minecraft. Also, the developer of the game lives in sweden (though you might like that)

That doesn't require any specific knowledge really, all you need is MS Paint, and yeah, of course I knew Mojang are Swedes :D Anyway if he's been on an industry standard project like Viking he surely must do something more professional than Minecraft now? Or did you mean he made the original official textures?

@SwedishBerzerker Texture packs are actually really hard. You can't even make em' in MSpaint, and it's even hard with anything below photoshop. But Doku's textures are high resolution, and really nice looking. I'll send you a link to his texture pack's thread later.

@SwedishBerzerker Well, his textures are very great if that's what you mean by "professional". For instance, he adds a lot of depth into the textures, and his RPG pack was called the best texture pack.

Yeah I saw his textures, they look great. I haven't been playing Minecraft for a while though, the limited rendering distance ruined my awesome subway system plans >:(
