Ah man... I moved to Texas back in July & just came across this video... Makes me miss Hesperia so much... I dont care how boring people say it is... Once you go away, you will miss it... I cant wait to move back in October & raise my son there... Thank you for making an amazing video! Now Ill watch Rock Springs Road haha =)

when i went up to my old house in Apple Valley (the one after the Calpella house), we saw a black guy livin in there, with the cops pullin into the driveway. I think he was sellin weed lol
that's pretty funny. yeah lots of ppl moving in from the big cities to apple. btw, i go to hesperia high. we just played barstow in the homecoming game, 27 to 26 we won. so far in the new stadium we have not lost a single game. i think u were sultana right? sorry buddy, we took the key from you. i'm not sure if you went to school there, but hey, high school football is for everyone. anyway, i feel for ya man. i still love hesperia and will live here until, well, for a long time.
ahh yeah there's a lot of people moving up here from the city. you have to be near the mountains to really get away from it. where we live it isn't too bad, we live in one of the older parts, and have a whole acre, so it's a little more widespread here. but all the other parts of town are getting pretty bad.
yeah it really sucks, especially the mall. i think the mall has gotten the worst. i lived in victorville for a long time and then i moved to wrightwood about 3 years ago. its still really nice up here
yeah i just went to the mall the day after Christmas, BAD IDEA. everybody was taking their gifts back, and i drove around that parking lot for almost an hour fighting the constant stream of cars for a parking space. all i wanted to do was go find a stupid cord for my phone.
i hear them all the time at night. i like it when it gets REALLY windy here, you hear the trains and for some reason it comforts you. helps me go to sleep.
hesperia high. man we got a perfect football season this year, no losses, and i think to this day we have never lost a game in the new stadium. we beat on sultana 50-0, i drove my truck around with gold ribbons and "GO SCORPIONS" painted on the side lol. man i still love hesperia.

Unbelievable! I moved to the "Mesa" section of Hesperia in 1979 and left in 1994. When we moved to Hesperia, there was one stop sign at I & Main and NO intersections with signals. We didn't have phone service for 1 1/2 years as it wasn't yet available up on the Mesa. I don't miss the city AT ALL but do miss my friends there!!

In a way, I miss Hesperia... as a kid, I used to ride my bike up and down 8th... does 8th actually connect to main yet, or is it still a dirt road?
And imho, NO ONE had better mexican food than Carlos & Toto's. I have yet to find a restaurant that rivals it.
