When man left Africa 50,000 years ago , the climate was like Europe is today. The increased production of melanin (pigment) in human skin is called melanogenesis. You are completely ignoring the fact that this woman is Brazilian, and Brazilians are among the most diverse and mixed people in the world. There was mass breeding among different races in a culture that has a large influx of blacks and indigenous indians in the north and european whites in the south. It's not impossible for the mother, who likely has mixed blood, to produce children who have caucasian traits. Her black children have straight, not curly hair which is further evidence.
