@423SweetPea I get lashes from all over the place! Halloween is actually a great time to find cool, affordable lashes. Makeup Forever has a good selection, though they're more pricey... Competitions have lots of venders that offer a great selection of lashes too... Hrm... I think I smell a lash tutorial coming on! ;)
hi Jana! THANK YOU. Although I have had some experience with doing my partners makeup, I always wanted to know how to do a cut crease look that was different from the typical smokey eye, which I had normally done with a combination of brown gold and white shadow. I found though that a smokey eye had made her eyes look smaller. and as you show above, a cut crease look is very effective at keeping the eyes looking big yet retaining drama. We have a comp coming up so I will show the results soon!
@bilikins84 So glad you enjoyed it, you are very welcome! I just posted a new video ("Two Looks in One, standard to Latin") that focuses on tricks to brighten and enlarge the eyes, perhaps you could draw more inspiration there too! Good luck with your dancing & I'll keep the tutorials coming. :) Can't wait to see results!
You are beautiful! Thank you for posting this, I am drawing inspiration from this look for my makeup this weekend. I just bought my Latin and Smooth Costumes so I wanted to save money and do my hair & makeup myself. It has been frustrating because there really is no help out there for DIY dancesport makeup and hair. This helped a ton. I couldn't find Gold but I am using colors in the bronzie shades.. Thanks again and I hope you make more videos so I know how to do my make-up next time too!
@babymooboutique Thank you for your great comment! I make my tutorials for people like you and I am so happy that they can be of use! I was amazed to see how few resources there were like this for ballroom dancers, especially when being well groomed is so important. Have fun creating your look & good luck to you this weekend!! Let me know if you have any requests too...
I saw you show NARS in one of your demos... what is your favorite primer to eliminate creasing? Thanks!
