Can anybody justify a team winning a conference and not getting a chance to win the championship? And before you say that there are weak conferences, in Major League Baseball the St. Louis Cardinals are from a weak division and yet get a shot at the WS. Plus no upset has ever happened in college sports? This is why college football system is a joke. Basketball has got it right. a 65 team tournament is exciting, what the hell does football have a BCS? What a joke.
U and I are on same ship, but OSU wood lose in a playoff, see OU and UF wood have better chances than OSU in playoff. Because the SEC, BIG12 are better, and more powerful then the BIG10. But yes auburn, Organ wood have harder time trying to get to the finle game.

You are right we need playoff. But the season is kinda like a playoff as well. You are right zero loss teams should have a shot. We don't need basketball playoff or baseball series though. Only the teams that go undefeated should get in a playoff. All conferences should have to play 13 games with a conference championship. I hate the Bowl Corrupt System just as much as the next guy. What I can't stand is the locations of the games themselves. Last Nat'l Championship game was Oklahoma vs. Florida IN Florida, before that, Ohio State vs. LSU IN louisiana. The Rose Bowl game in pasadena between the big ten and the pac ten IN pac ten territory. Really creates some unfair homefield advantages when it should be an even playing field. Oh, and a playoff would be nice, too.

The BCS is a joke. It's beauty pageantry. The idea behind it might have been good but it's antiquated. It gives no chance other than the storied programs from big conference to win a national championship. We had 34 Bowl game last season. Basically we had team with barely .500 record making bowl game that no one will care to remember.

Boise State and Hawaii, don't play ranked teams. They may play 1 ranked team a year. Hawaii got destroyed by a true SEC team. I could care less if Boise State beat Oklahoma, Oklahoma is overrated year after year. I'm for a playoff system just as much as the next guy. But under the current BCS circumstances Boise State and Hawaii in no way deserve to go to a BCS bowl unless they play a MUCH rougher schedule or change into a BCS conference such as the SEC/BIG10/BIG12 etc.

There's always going to be flaws in every "system" that comes out and yes even the playoff system. I love the BCS because it gives people something to talk even after college football season is over. And coming from a huge college football fan I can't get enough. I'm man enough to admit that Ohio State didn't really deserve to be there last year but that was a rebuilding year so that's fine. Where are the flaws in the NBA PLayoffs, in the nFL Playoffs, in D2 and D3???? I use to like the BCS and I was excited when it came out. Now, almost everyone says it only works when you have two undefeated teams, well that didn't work two years ago. I fully agree, they didn't deserve to be there. Other teams lost, upsets happened, that's college football. We backed into the National Championship Game. I like playing the bigger teams in these games, but it's just not fair to Boise or Hawaii.
