  • I love Jerry Douglas's contributions to the band and I love the Boxcars. I start thinking all are where they're meant to be and then I listen to Little Liza Jane and wish Adam Steffey was still with AKUS. It happens every time! The other thought I have when I listen to this tune was expressed in TealBlueSea's comment. :)

  • I love her voice, but I wish we could hear her do some real fiddlin' like this more often.

  • My favorite instrumental by AKUS. Every time I hear it, the stereo or MP3 player gets cranked.

This song's been around since 1916 and AKUS won a grammy for their rendition. Liza Jane is a girl that's been popular in the bluegrass and western swing era for many a moon.
