Until 1:40 everythink was ok, perfect harmony between voice, acoustic guitar and keyboards simulating piano. But after the drums everything ruined. Morten´s face shows that he did not know what to do. How bizarre...

Steve7099, I agree with you. Although this is one of my favourite songs, it's never been good when I've heard it live. It got ruined in the duet with Anneli Drecker in 2002, and in 2005, Morten's vocals were drowned by the electric guitars. Shame!!

My suggestion would be an 'a capella' performance from the boys, or just with acoustic guitars.

This version is sucks. Morten lost the time of the song and did not come back to sing after the drums. A terrible version of a beautiful song. Did they realyy rehearsal? I don´t think so, I never heard something so shameful.

Nonsense. Morten did'nt loose track of time here at all. The section with the drums and the clapping is supposed to be an instrumental section in this version.

When that is said, I agree it's far from one of their best versions ( The best live one is the NRK version from the early 90's ), but that is no reason to imagine faults that are not there. It is simply the arrangment that is very different. Has nothing to do with Morten's singing.
