This battle is TOTAL FUCKING BULLSHIT. Your video doesn't help in the slightest. Nothing I do works, Vyse can't get close enough to Maximilian once he teleports (how the fuck did you get that much movement guage?) and his towers revive after a while? This is stupid. This entire game is more frustrating than it is fun.

@kaenkash No offense but the worse you are at strategy games, the more frustrating it becomes. Frankly I loved the final boss fight completely, but it wasn't as hard as it first appears to be once you figure it out.

I tried using this one-turn strategies yesterday, but I found it pretty hard to do. So I first end up using the smoke bomb in the narrow section, hide the Edelweiss and some shocktroopers in the fog and end my turn so I can avoid the boss's fully-charged attack and get enough CPs to use on my 2nd. It's a "safe strategy" I found out while I was trying to make use of my current units (Though I didn't think of using a sniper nor did I use Largo to take out the towers).

I just completed the game myself.

5 scouts, 1 Engi, 1 sniper and Rosie/Largo, Sniper for far off distances(Catherine), Rosie for close ones, Isara Smoke grenade and blow the shit out of him, Took me 4 turns though, but damn was fun! XD

You can do this mission without orders in 2 turns. But you need ISARA smoke, one scout with a Gallain S20R (Alicia is good :D) for the 3 towers in the back, two lancers for both the armored towers in the second turn, and about 2 or 3 shocktroopers with flamethrowers who attack maximilain in the smoke.

back to the topic at hand, nicely done, 1 turn... it took me 2, i didnt level up my people that much so i had to get 4 shocktroopers doing linked attacks with eachother, his teleport at 50% kinda killed my plan for a 1 turn win, but i got him the next turn.

The Nintendo consoles (particularly the Wii) are more lighthearted family games and the PS3 has all kinds of games on it! Just to clarify, I have an N64, a Gameboy Advance, a DS, a Wii and of course, a PS3. Since I actually have never owned an XBox, please don't flame me for speaking out-of-line or inexperiencedly, this is just my opinion

2) you can have both on one, action replay solves this issue

360 overheats and is noisy

ps3 has the asthetic appeal of the breadbox, is bloody expensive and its online capability leaves much to be desired

This happens to be a fantastic exclusive that is on the PS3, wish the second and third VC games would get revamped for the system as well for those who are not interested in getting a PSP. Why they continued the VC games on the PSP ONLY is beyond me.

i don't know how he gives you orders, but I'm gonna guess it's kinda similar to the way you get orders from training, except it costs additional xp and a visit to the old guy.

no actually i found out., it's just a random chance at the start of each chapter, you can visit him possibly more times to get chances at orders after passing episodes, but mostly chapters

man that was so easy for you. I had to do this crazy stratergy with tanks and lancers. Always watching the towers. Then i used smoke bombs for cover and had shock troopers take him out.

You don't sound like a dick, you are right about the american voice actors but the user you responded meant to the japanese voice actor, Jun Fukuyama, who voiced both Maximilian and Leoluch in the japanese voice acting, actually the voice of that actors fits well in both characters if you try to listen :3

Yeah Jun Fukuyama, he was asked to play that role of character and he kinda likes it, He also made a character named Leopard in Sora no Kake Girl, who's actually a parody of Zero. Those 3 characters are his most proud characters he voiced he stated, I also loved the voice actor of Welkin, Susumu Chiba who voiced Oswald in the game Odin Sphere, one of Atlus greatest PS2 Real time RPGs.

Well I couldnt completely respond but I also loved Marina Inoue who voiced Alicia (I recognized it immediately since I watched Gurren Lagann and she sounded like Yoko). Megumi Toyoguchi who played Rosie, And Hisao Egawa as Largo (For these two there are lot of anime I watched voiced by this characters that were awesome). Well in Japan something I must recognize from SEGA is that they choice remarkable voice actors for their games in general in all my SEGA RPG purchases.
