I am a Canadian kid from the 70s, an adult now (obviously) but way back when every single family had one of these..every single gift someone got for Christmas was a K-tel gift..everyone had this brush, the Record Selector, EZ Tracer (that sucked bigtime) the freakin Bottle Cutter (the bad boys in the area got that gift) and the smokers all got that cigarette thing...and we all had records from K-tel...we pretty much ruined the evironment with all of that plastic.so blame our parents and K-tel

We had one of these in red. We still kept it even after the handle broke.

Here in the UK there's a company called JML that makes equivalents to these K-tel products.
