Just saw them yesterday night in Portland, Maine right before the Red Claws basketball game! Kevin signed my foam "claw"!!!! It's like a foam finger but a claw instead.

I'm personally an atheist but I can appreciate good music when I hear it. Disciple are one of my favourite bands, and I agree with the comments below: a song can mean whatever you interpret it to mean, regardless of the intention of the musicians.
One doesn't need to be a Hindu to enjoy Bollywood films, and in the same way one does not need to be a Christian to enjoy good Christian music.

I'm not a Christian but I listen to 88.7 which is a Christian staying and they play The Disciple's music.... Just saying. Take is where you want but I think they are a Christian band. Not only from who plays their music but also their lyrics.
I was at a disciple concert with kutless and another band I can't remember. Anyhow, the lead singer for disciple came out on stage after a song and got a bunch of people to take one kid overseas that was starving and support them for 30$ a month. He gave them the kids photo and everything, it was really cool. He also was worshipping God right there in front of everybody. He also brought his wife on stage and told everybody how much he loved her and respects her, It was amazing. Great Christian.
@irockwithbass Yeah he is! And he lives it in every concert he does. One concert in I think Arizona, the people were too rambuncious in the pit and people were getting hurt so he threatened to stop the show right then and there. Needless to say the people straightened up. :)
These guys are pretty good, but people who like this should try out some Demon Hunter, and be amazed. and they have a variety of just singing and screaming, so dont judge on the first song you here. a couple good ones are fading away, a thread of light, one thousand apologies, and infected.

I don't want to rub it in anyone's face. But the Christan life is just so real. I have been a Christian for a long time, but recently I have had my whole world fall apart, and I feel like there is no person in the world who really cares about me anymore. But there is one thing that has kept me going, I just know Jesus is my God(Disciple-I just know). Most religions are skewed and ruined versions of Christianity, even a lot of churches have it messed up. But God's still there and worth it all.

I'm personally an atheist but I can appreciate good music when I hear it. Disciple are one of my favourite bands, and I agree with the comments below: a song can mean whatever you interpret it to mean, regardless of the intention of the musicians.
One doesn't need to be a Hindu to enjoy Bollywood films, and in the same way one does not need to be a Christian to enjoy good Christian music.

It's so funny how people react when they learn a band is Christian.Usually most whine and cry about how it's Christian but most don't even care. I don't listen to Christian music b/c it's Christian..unlike popular music that soars on the billboards Christian music has no cussing sex drugs etc.

I'm not a Christian but I listen to 88.7 which is a Christian staying and they play The Disciple's music.... Just saying. Take is where you want but I think they are a Christian band. Not only from who plays their music but also their lyrics.

I was at a disciple concert with kutless and another band I can't remember. Anyhow, the lead singer for disciple came out on stage after a song and got a bunch of people to take one kid overseas that was starving and support them for 30$ a month. He gave them the kids photo and everything, it was really cool. He also was worshipping God right there in front of everybody. He also brought his wife on stage and told everybody how much he loved her and respects her, It was amazing. Great Christian.

@irockwithbass Yeah he is! And he lives it in every concert he does. One concert in I think Arizona, the people were too rambuncious in the pit and people were getting hurt so he threatened to stop the show right then and there. Needless to say the people straightened up. :)

These guys are pretty good, but people who like this should try out some Demon Hunter, and be amazed. and they have a variety of just singing and screaming, so dont judge on the first song you here. a couple good ones are fading away, a thread of light, one thousand apologies, and infected.

Anyone here reading this that is struggling with the fight of there is a God or there isn't a God msg me. I went through the same battle. Just saw them live in Spokane! They were great, opening for Red, I have videos if you guys want to see. Anyways great song, my favorite song and first song i heard from them. God will do great things with this band, Kevin always delivers a good message when he talks. Then the band its self is a good message.

I'm on the fence when it comes to religion but I could care less about them being a christian rock band, they flat out make some damn good music that I can rock out to. I don't want to rub it in anyone's face. But the Christan life is just so real. I have been a Christian for a long time, but recently I have had my whole world fall apart, and I feel like there is no person in the world who really cares about me anymore. But there is one thing that has kept me going, I just know Jesus is my God(Disciple-I just know). Most religions are skewed and ruined versions of Christianity, even a lot of churches have it messed up. But God's still there and worth it all.
