sorry, and i dont mean to bash your skill, but its played on the "D" and "G" string as bar chords on the FIFTH fret bro. and the only reason i know that is because on the live videos of the song, you notice that the bass line is played on the g note of the e string, therefore it must have to be an octave of that on the guitar to get that fuller fuzzy tone that they have on the machine head album. but great method of playing the song. as long as you can have fun rockin out to sum tunes, its cool.

You can play this more simply by starting with an open E on the thickest string, then 3rd fret, 5th, open, 3rd 6th, 5th, open, 3rd, 5th, 3rd, open.

You can also hold the 4th and 5th string on the 5th fret.

then 3rd and 4th string 3rd fret. then 5th fret.

back to start but then slide from 3rd/4th string from 6th fret to 5th fret. the rest is obvious

you really need a better camera or something cos you cant really see what your hand is doing (i know there is tab for that, but its not the point)

also this is beginner stuff, but that is not a criticism as i learnt this song from a simlar video a few months ago
