  • I lOVE Lucy!

  • Hah regan said tube.

  • Reagan, the all time great of politics and changing the country...Lucy, the all time great of comedy. both were class acts which have not yet been beaten and I doubt ever will be.

  • 1:25 Lucy says "Who dat" .. Now I know where da brotha's and sista's got it from. LOL. Not "Who's that" but " Who dat" LMAO

  • i was bored and looked up "call ball"....

  • He certainly couldn't say you're one of us in terms of being a Republican, as Lucy was quite a left-winger

  • Too bed she never gave up the helmet hair. She had one of the most beautiful faces.

  • Lucy will always be one of my favorites. What a gem!

  • i wish i could've met her, unfortunately she was gone years before i was born <=3

  • Mitt Will be the Next PresiDent of the U S A.......

  • @FireYourJOB , what the hell does Mitt Romney have to do with Lucille Ball? Asshole.

  • How could she think of herself as not smart and not beautiful? She was both!

    Legend!

  • By Hollywood standards of the day she probably wasn't. I think she had a tough time making it. But that's the irony. The outcasts are the ones who become the legends.

  • Her speech sounds a little slurred.

  • It sounds clearly enunciated to me. Where specifically do you hear her slurring words?

  • Listen carefully between 0:48 to 0:52. at 1:24, her speech seems a bit unclear, and watching her body language, she seems a bit tipsy.

In any event, this woman was the most gifted, talented comedienne of all times. Gilda Radner and Madeline Kahn are the only two comediennes who I know of who were anywhere close to being in her league.

May they all rest in Peace. The Heavens are most definitely laughing.

  • I still don't hear it. At 1:24 she says "who dat?" instead of "who's that"?" That's not slurring, she was just being goofy there. At 0:48 to 0:52 she says "she just did a wonderful show at our place over at Universal." None of those words sound slurred to me. Sorry, I'm just not hearing it.

  • 2vidayverdas2: No problem, I guess it's all a matter of perception. You may well be right; I was simply stating my observations.

I listened to her, and the "Vitameatavegimin" commercial started playing in my head. That episode, IMO, was one of the funniest episodes of I Love Lucy ever done. Lucy took her enormous talents to an all new high.

I was born in 1957, so I'm too young to remember when I.L.L. was in production, but I've been watching reruns ever since. The BEST comedy show ever, IMHO.

  • I watch the re-runs and vids of "I Love Lucy", and I am awestruck by the contrast of television comedy today. Black & white, no four-letter words, no sexual innuendos, no jokes targeted at certain groups of people, and "I Love Lucy" stands high above anything out there today. In later years, "The Lucy Show" was filmed in color, and the quality of the show was beyond excellent, but "I Love Lucy" still reigns as #1.

  • Too many years pretending to be drunk.

  • I love lucy true icon!

  • Love Lucy, Love Reagan! Excellent video! :)

  • wow.. tear*

  • Lucy's got her purse... she doesn't trust nobody, hahhaha.

  • There will never be another Lucy, Never be another Ronald Reagan, nor a Merv Griffen, thay were the best and brightest. God bless em'!

  • Man I loved to watch the "Merv Griffin" show-he seemed so real an at ease with all his guests-and with his "sidekick" Arthur Treacher, they were great.

  • is that peter lawford

  • Hey Gina ..I'm sure you're a real prize.....this woman had more talent then your miniscule little brain could comprehend....you must be a little kid or mentally challenged.... or both

  • Keep your mouth shut, stop picking on a girl, wimpy.
