Please note most of the so-called Tibetans in exile are actually those living in India occupied part of the greater Tibet, areas like Ladakh and Sikkim for centuries. They've nothing to do with the Chinese part of Tibet except for the same race. Why don't they FREE their part of Tibet from India.

3) the final demand he wants is even more ridiculous because he wants the chinese government to remove all none-tibetants from his definition of tibetant territory (approximately about 40 million people)

he may say he has no interest in political positions, but his middle way has very direct political demands. 1) he wants to prevent entry of chinese troops into the tibetant area 2) he wants to prevent migration of chinese hans into his definition of tibet. those two demands are directly very political. do you see the pope making such kind of demand to the roman government?

@TheMightyGuri give you some facts that you never heard of. afte the 2008 protest, ccp replaced the chairman of tar with an ex military general as the new chairman of tibet who happens to be a longtime communist loyalist. after the 89 protest, ccp quickly replace pro-reform members of its party with hardline traditionalist. you are welcome to think all of your campaigns would get you somewhere, but they actually push the ccp a tighter control on the inner tibetant region.

the tibetan autonomous region was established in 1965! before china invaded tibet in 1949, it was Ü-Tsang
Qinghai Province was established in 1955, which was Amdo before china invaded tibet in 1949
6 of the 8 prefectures of Qinghai are so called "tibetan autonomous prefectures" which means, actually a part of china
so dalai's claim on autonomy for those regions are valid since not part of china before 1949

I personally believe democracy of china would actually benefit tibet more than independence.

Al Jazeera offers a real attempt at objectivity and practical steps to be taken. There's a long way to go before the opposing sides trust each other. A free press throughout China would help all sides, but the CCP clearly does not want international media in its territory, especially not Tibet. I seriously doubt the unconditional worship of any political leader could withstand full media scrutiny, and that's what we should strive for. Free Tibet.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama called a full amnesty (which means freedom for all) before he left the jokhang temple the first time when china invaded Tibet in 1950. So he freed them all.

So CCP have invested a lot to build schools. Under graduate students can be recruited for master and doctor courses if they would like to be a teacher for several years in Tibet. Universities in other provinces are open to Tibetan students with extremely low recruitment score.
