@rockismygame That's the difference between Atheist and Christians, we do not force anyone to be an atheist, while on the other hand christians are forcing there belief to schools, government offices etc.

And as for Muslims, even though you have memorized the Q'uran, always put it to mind that Judaism and Chrsitianity came first before Islam. It's obvious that some stories were borrowed from the bible and edited them to make a whole new different story. So it's not a surprise why the Q'uran had the "answers" to the beginning of the world and the afterlife.

You can see how religious people act violently towards atheism.

Actually, one way of becoming an atheist or agnostic is by reading the bible. There are many atrocities in the bible and they can be found both in the old and the new testament.

So my challenge to all Christians out there is read the bible. Priests just cherry picks some verses for their mass so only the 'good part' of the bible will be brought in to Christ believers.

What I just don't like in the Philippines, is the church whereas they always contradict with the government.

@CymorPsycho Catholic church in the Philippines is complete control by the Vatican. They are there to pretend they are trying to aid and educated catholic members. With just a man-made traditional values, members are becoming confused everyday. Also, the government in the Philippines is a liberal-social mixture of laws and governance. Two child policy, a complete bogus to fulfill a massive implementation of governmental total power over the people. Try China, with two child policy is a failure.

My wife, who switches faith systems more than I have had wives (4) accused me today that I, a Brit expat, am the ONLY atheist in the Philippines and will not, refuses to, accept that there are many more. Just me.

Of course, I know the truth, having 'spoken' to many via the 'net and in person to others in my neighbourfhood, who my wife blames me for infecting them.

It is well-known that many atheists in the US are still hiding for fear of persecution in one way or another. Does this happen here?

I grew up in the philippines with humanistic views, and denounced God as a kid. And my theology teachers repeated that the bible shouldnt be taken literally.

A short summary of the Ontological Argument & it's opponents; Kant's refutation of a speculative proof for God's existence & non-existence was my college thesis at UST back in 1987. May I add that Rene Descarte also had the analogy with the TRIANGLE patterned after St.Anselm. However, Kant is not an Atheist but more of an Agnostic & I think pinoyatheist should reconsider his beliefs before it's too late. God's manifestations are everywhere & transcends human intellect.
