minelab just way to expensive, the garrett ace 350 is good for coin hunting and relic hunting. my friend in usa has just purchased a cen-tech for me and posting it to me on tuesday after july 4 holiday. i also just hunting coins, copper and brass. copper and brass are selling $6 a kilo at lawrence scrap metal in malaga, so once i get 500 kilos in trailer will take it down and get 3 grand in cash for it. is easy to find copper, ie ruined homes have power wire etc, old electric appliances etc
i cant find one on ebay but have emailed harbor freight last night and they said they can freight to australia, said give us 48 to 72 hours to source you a freight quote. where on ebay is it, i keep searching and not finding it. i see you in perth, i am 300km inland of you as well. visit perth a few times a month to waste time detecting, more coins out here in wheatbelt in winter at least
does the led ligth only come on when it detects the coin or is it on all the time the power button pushed? i see u posted this 4 months ago, i keen to buy it, 1. did you get it from harbor freight and 2. are u still using it and hows it going with it?
The Light will come on when you are holding the power button and will stay on constantly until you let go of the power button.
I live in Australia and Harbor freight dont send over seas so i had to buy it through ebay. But yeah its the one from harbor.
I haven't been using it to much i'v actually been out prospecting but i have used it in conjunction with my Ace 250 a few times and it works really well :D
