People who buy MAC come to mac video and say "I love my new mac". People who buy new PC come to mac video and say "MAC is an expensive overpriced piece of hardware" why they don't say "I love my new PC"? Something to think about...
Yeah they all first think about apple when they want a new computer. just like iphone and ipad. Then find out it's too expensive and end up with PCs.
But why do they think apple but not samsung or microsoft? They LOVE Apple more :)
im a mac user...i was a hardcore window7, xp (no, not a vista) user before and now i wont back to windows...sorry windows, u sold all your products to all other pc companies, with i-dunno-where-to-choose version of windows...mac software is only for mac, with all hardware the same as other pc, how come mac be so good ? steve is not rich as bill but he is absolutely creative...W7 ? its awesome version of vista, vista ? just want to do what mac do while apple just released iphone by that time...
@Remoth000 SOOOO True. As long as your not snooping on porn sites or downloading crap from bittorrent, It's hard to get a virus if you aren't asking for it. . .
@Remoth000 i play WoW on my comp and download all the shit i want on my mac.. my macs full of unwanted crap and a whole bunch of software i rarely use and i think im coming close to running out of memory..and the only time i ever lagged was when i tried to play WoW and youtube at same time....dont i get an applause =O
@990Barcelona virus part is true, but the look better part is purely opinion or you just bought ugly PCs. build your own and make it look as good as you want, the way you want. to me, having no viruses is not worth the extra $1000 to have a full tower computer....
@IgnorantPCFanboys Myth my ass. In terms of full tower computers, the mac pro is severely overpriced. Plus it's not only about being overpriced, it's also about buying shit that you don't need. How can you get an iMac thinking you are getting a $1000 monitor? You know who cares about having a $1000 monitor over a $300 one? Maybe 5% of people. Plus for a $1000 monitor, the color gamut is really poor.
@Remoth000 so, from talking about all macs, you now narrow this down to one model, the mac pro? show me a comparable pc to the mac pro for 1000 dollars less. next, prove that the color gamut is inferior in the imac
@IgnorantPCFanboys you do notice I talked about the imac too, right? Anandtech had an article reviewing the Dell Ultrasharp U2711(similar panel to the 27" imac), they mentioned the imac has a color gamut of 72% and the dell has 102%.
@IgnorantPCFanboys Mac pro - 2.66 ghz, 3 gb 1066 ram, 1 tb hard drive, nvidia gt 120+ 3 year warranty = $2848
Dell T3500 - quadro Fx 580 instead of geforce 120 = $1632 with saving. $1894 normal.
Hp Z400 - quadro FX 580, 1333mhz ram = $2153
custom built - quadro FX 580, 1333 mhz ram, 6 hard drive bays, Sound card with 7.1 surround sound, support 24GB of ram, esata ports, 6 core cpu upgradable. = $1438
The build is cheapest, and best in terms of features. there ya go.
@Remoth000 what os are you using in your 'builds'? windows ultimate is the closest, and its still not that close. what about firewire? what about ilife counterparts?
@IgnorantPCFanboys Dell has ultimate, HP has professional. And I see my mistake about the custom build, I forgot the OS. add windows 7 ulitmate, and it becomes about $1613. but you can change anything in the build to make it cheaper or more expensive. The Hp and custom build have a firewire 800 card added to them. I didnt see a dell option(add $43 3rd party)
iLife? really? you are talking about a $2800 workstation and you are worried about ilife? if I could take it off, I would. -$80 on mac.
@IgnorantPCFanboys so they should have it as an option, not automatically charge you 80 extra dollars for it. I dont use it, not everyone uses it, why would I want to pay 80 dollars for something I'll never use?
@IgnorantPCFanboys no company (and that includes apple) gives away anything for free. you really think that $80 isnt in the price of the main computer? how ignorant. just because its bundled, does not mean its not in the price. thats like saying the graphics card is free with every mac....
@ThingsontheWeb both Os's are fine. the only problem I have with OSX is how closed off it is hardware wise. you are forced to buy apples outdated hardware.

@Remoth000 many mac users still use part of ilife: garageband, for example. no-add to your pc to equal what apple gives you

@Remoth000 they don't charge ANYTHING for ilife. its free with every mac sold. upgrades will cost you, but that's a choice
