The problem comes when Todd Bentley's performance is so altogether different offstage than onstage. He is a master at taking money from naive people with quite advanced stage theatrics. I don't see that to be so much of a problem unless he spends so much time on his stage theatrics that his home life blows up in his face and commits adultery and then marries his mistress. It would be better for a millstone tied around his neck than for little sheep to follow his offstage weaknesses.

Just because someone performs a miracle, does not mean it is by the power of God. Do not be lead away by false preachers who come before you in sheeps clothing. I flipped on Hinn in the middle of the night and he said a young man was watching and knew through a word of knowledge about the cold dark evil presence and rebuked it. that night my room was peaceful. One time, i have a bad headache for days (which is unusual, I know i am attacked by the devil) when I watch Benny Hinn on TV, I clearly felt the anointing, and the headache and the oppressive feeling was gone. The problem comes when Todd Bentley's performance is so altogether different offstage than onstage. He is a master at taking money from naive people with quite advanced stage theatrics. I don't see that to be so much of a problem unless he spends so much time on his stage theatrics that his home life blows up in his face and commits adultery and then marries his mistress. It would be better for a millstone tied around his neck than for little sheep to follow his offstage weaknesses.

Because it isn't the 'entire word'. It's only a general principle that God blesses... Jesus said WE would be persecuted, killed, tortured... not exactly physical prosperity. I love Todd and Benny, but they are dead wrong on this. Repent means literally 'to go another way', or 'turn around'. It most certainly does mean therefore, not only stop doing, but literally, 'do the opposite'. "Let him that stole, steal no more, but let him labor with his hands". God commands us to repent, and I mean no offense, but it is silly to believe God commands something we cannot do. We need his help in everything, but the point is, he obviously will help us if he commands a thing.

We are not the ones doing the judging... In the Bible it tells us not to judge but to also judge by fruits this could mean that we as christians are not to say who is going to hell and who isn't but also for our own good judge those who speak truth so that we shall not be deceived.

Just because someone performs a miracle, does not mean it is by the power of God. Do not be lead away by false preachers who come before you in sheeps clothing. Search the scriptures with your questions and pray to God for your answers. People like this thrive on sensationalism. The Lord was not flashy and neither were his Apostles. They were reverent, why would this change now?

Even the devils know his name and proclaim him as the Son of God. Read Matt. 8:28 for a reference on that. The devil can perform miracles as well, just look to the old testament in Exodus chapter 7.

Benny Hinn is an anointed man of God. The anointing is clearly on him. He goes around the world to preach the Gospel. He leads millions of people to Jesus Christ. If all you do is criticize him, examine yourself, how many people you have lead to Christ?

I agree with you on Benny Hinn. when I first was saved. the devil was mad he lost me to my occult family line. he was visiting my room with a cold dark evil presence. I flipped on Hinn in the middle of the night and he said a young man was watching and knew through a word of knowledge about the cold dark evil presence and rebuked it. that night my room was peaceful. Jesus said a kingdom cannot be divided against itself it will not last! Todd Bentley on the other hand darkness upon him is clear!

One time, i have a bad headache for days (which is unusual, I know i am attacked by the devil) when I watch Benny Hinn on TV, I clearly felt the anointing, and the headache and the oppressive feeling was gone. Benny Hinn is clearly anointed.

I've gotta say people like you irritate me a little. You take a view, and you associate someone with that view, and then you throw out ridiculous arguments. Read Scripture and read the teachings from Todd Bentley. Scripture shows how God wants to bless with physical things, but ultimately, that is not our main concern on earth...it's saving the lost. Signs and miracles: healings, financial help, shaped clouds...whatever you see God revealing to his people to confirm his words are good.

God will judge this all when Jesus, his Son returns. I am too busy enjoying the Christian life and sharing Jesus the right way with others to get caught up in a witch hunt. I love each and everyone of you ladies and gents. Let us focus on the real ones, rather than the fake ones. Jesus already said he will destroy the false prophet along with the beast. Therefore, I just enjoy the real ones, and pray the fakes will get right.
