@xiaoxiaokai1 oops i actually meant to say why is every big boss fight need your party members with high defense that you take 0 damage? it would be a lot cooler if you took damage and worked to keep your party members alive and made the fight look dramatic.
one thing that helps too in this battle is do NOT let her enter the sky at ALL costs,normal attacks when done right can knock her back down and fayts blast and albels normal attack will knock her back down as well,most of her other attacks can be healed through and guarded agianst some way or form but her form of blast can NOT be and is VERY deadly depending on your gear of course,some gear can help minimize the damage takin

hellsing u get ethereal blast in sphere company that building with 211 floors, sum where in there, good luck buddy : ) it will take more than an hour but if u use cheats or sumthing you'll know wich floor its on

@7CellarDoors try SO4 Gabriel Celesta alone kicked my ass a lot of times on normal the easiest form (you can beat him over and over again and eacht time he gets tougher) and I tried Ethereal queen but she just obliterated me... or try Demon's Souls ;)

@DarkFlip22 Not your attack and defense. If your characters' DEF is greater than Freya's ATK the damage taken becomes lower and it can eventually drop to zero.

@kenzeus I wouldn't know, I've only gotten up to Ethereal, when I fought Freya I got mopped. I could understand super high stats where each of her hit takes like 2k, but all 0s is so boring!!

Even with this defense she could kill you with magic attacks because you only get def and not magic def. I used to lose a lot of consumable items and almost lost all of them even by having this defense. Because not only do you get hurt bad each time you use a strong special you lose HP and she has 10 million hp...
lol this fight is alomst impossible for me with albel in the gruop. He's probably the character I used the most, but his best special dragon barely does shit to freya. BTW how many f-ing blue talismans did you equip/synth with your weapons? I only have 1 maxed 30% w/ each character and I barely get this many zeros lol!
@eatmyplis Yeah I see now I tried the same thing awhile ago, synthing the boots of prowess over and over. It really helped more than I thought lol, but I needed a higher base def for my casters since they're def sucks (Sophia,Nel,etc). It's STILL hard to prevent ether strike w/o bombs though you'd have to knock her down everytime unless you maxed the lv cap on your characters. My highest are around 230 and shes still time consuming. Id be winning in 30-40min then its just ether strike over&over

Hey I used the exact same team when I beat Freya on 4d. I just kept Sophia in a distant corner and used Cliff's max shockwave, Fayt didn't do much except soak up damage an drun away when things got to dicey.

You can make them for a price around 2438 but its best to w8 for a price in the 3000 range because with a price of 2000 your more likely to create other accessories rather than the ones you want.

Well, first off, you should use Battle Skills that don't knock the opponent down (or do so as little as possible) or send them far off so that your other chars can score in their battle skills with much greater frequency. Second, make use of your AAA to stun your foe when they make use weak attacks to leave them vulnerable. Third, use stun bombs (esp ones with def lowering properties) to interrupt their ults if you feel you need to. Last, keep one char far off with shoes if you need to buff/res.

In the maze of tribulations floor 6 in the place where u have to push the rooms, just push the one in the centre away from its original position, jump down there and there should be a treasure chest. Open and you'll find a folio then go to items and select this folio to learn divine blade =D

its the uber fayt stratey, veinslay with 8 refined boots of prowess to 30%, tri emblem and another boots of prowess at lv255 prolly. Def over 5000 nulls all damage from freya to zero in galaxy mode.
u dont need 5000 def, 3500-4000 is enough, u have to turn beserk off and have one buffer cast protection from the side, and i had fayt to use ethereal blast and cliff to stun lock with fists of fury and she dies pretty quick, u don't even have to use stun bombs at all
Buy some Basil or equip them with Amulet of Freedom. If them dont sell Amulet of Freedom you can invent one by Crafting. Use the team of Sophia, Aqua & Evia, and Balbados at the cost around 600 Fol. It may take more than one try so save your game before inventing.
Best way to survive against paralyze is to modify medicine botions, witch originaly gives only immune to poison(for the battle duration) and update it. It will then give immunity to paralyzis, and freeze and stone. But i only make once, that paralyzis is enough.
I just really hate this boss. It has too much health. It becomes too monotonic afterwhile.

I didn't get any external help beating Freya for the first time. My strategy? Don't get hit, period. I only used Fayt (controlling the other characters was too annoying), Air Raid(interrupts her every time), stun aura, and stun bombs. Yes, you heard that right. Took me around 40 minutes. To get more synthesis materials you can chain a bunch of things using the ring of disintegration. I don't remember the exact number, but I remember getting a few of them that way.

With all the 30% defense increments on Cliff and Fayt, they defense is really high. I have Sophia cast Protection to make up the rest. It doesn't last long so she recasts it often."

Boots you get from crafting, original creation. Check a guide to find their cost I cant remember off the top of my head.

Well, first off, you should use Battle Skills that don't knock the opponent down (or do so as little as possible) or send them far off so that your other chars can score in their battle skills with much greater frequency. Second, make use of your AAA to stun your foe when they make use weak attacks to leave them vulnerable. Third, use stun bombs (esp ones with def lowering properties) to interrupt their ults if you feel you need to. Last, keep one char far off with shoes if you need to buff/res.

In the maze of tribulations floor 6 in the place where u have to push the rooms, just push the one in the centre away from its original position, jump down there and there should be a treasure chest. Open and you'll find a folio then go to items and select this folio to learn divine blade =D

its the uber fayt stratey, veinslay with 8 refined boots of prowess to 30%, tri emblem and another boots of prowess at lv255 prolly. Def over 5000 nulls all damage from freya to zero in galaxy mode.

u dont need 5000 def, 3500-4000 is enough, u have to turn beserk off and have one buffer cast protection from the side, and i had fayt to use ethereal blast and cliff to stun lock with fists of fury and she dies pretty quick, u don't even have to use stun bombs at all

Buy some Basil or equip them with Amulet of Freedom. If them dont sell Amulet of Freedom you can invent one by Crafting. Use the team of Sophia, Aqua & Evia, and Balbados at the cost around 600 Fol. It may take more than one try so save your game before inventing.

Best way to survive against paralyze is to modify medicine botions, witch originaly gives only immune to poison(for the battle duration) and update it. It will then give immunity to paralyzis, and freeze and stone. But i only make once, that paralyzis is enough.
I just really hate this boss. It has too much health. It becomes too monotonic afterwhile.

5000+ defense on earth/galaxy mode and Etheral Blast = zero damage.
But on Universe/4D mode it will never cause zero damage even with 5000+ physical defense.
On 4D mode Etheral Blast can be a instant kill.

fayt sophia and cliff are the best team
fayt=magical sword
cliff=all out attack
sophia=mage(and shes mostly far away from battle so when ur party members die she can rez them)

ahh I remember doing this. Fayts defense was so high the only that could hurt him was the damage from his own skill usage. :)

I didn't get any external help beating Freya for the first time. My strategy? Don't get hit, period. I only used Fayt (controlling the other characters was too annoying), Air Raid(interrupts her every time), stun aura, and stun bombs. Yes, you heard that right. Took me around 40 minutes. It was mind-numbingly boring actually, but it worked. I was so happy, as it took me around 20 tries. Then, I discovered the uber-fayt method and realized how much easier it could have been...

thennn, once you upgrade it twice[which is limit btw] then you synthesize the boots of prowess onto whatever weapon your using.
do it 7 times [is limit] and freya is cake...sorta, you need to level up too.
i used mirage(raven...gauntlet) and albel(dark fairie weapon...thing), i had to use protect over and over again on them though 0_o;;
the easy thing to do is just to use fayt and cliff because of the valiant mail.
OHH, make sure you refine the armor til max, thats important too.

cool thanks, but how do i make it in the first place? i let the time bar go by how many times? and also, anyway where i can get more synthesis materials? i wasted them all :(... i used all the runic chess and only ones i can get left is in the secret caves or sphere 211, and im way to weak for it cuz i wasted all my synthesis materials... anyway where i can get it from a monster? i currently running on a 6 orichalcum on laser weapon D:

no no, if it goes once and it is successful, then you've already made one boots of prowess.

To get more synthesis materials you can chain a bunch of things using the ring of disintegration. I don't remember the exact number, but I remember getting a few of them that way.

"Damage is determined by the difference between attack and defense. If defense is equal to or higher than attack, then damage will be 0. With all the 30% defense increments on Cliff and Fayt, they defense is really high. I have Sophia cast Protection to make up the rest. It doesn't last long so she recasts it often."

i'll explain.
3 crafts people for me were chicolo(get her at surferno), aqua and evia(paterny...i think) and peppita.
do original creation and make sure it ranges to around 2800 fol ish, thats how you make boots of prowess.
then you use those same 3 people to make it stronger (specify plan...i think...)
and upgrade the boots twice til its attack/defense +30
