When will they talk about the pipeline, and about the real reasons the military/industrial/governmental complex keeps us in Afghanistan? This is all good, but still, it's a whitewash. They are arguing footnotes to details that are puny and even irrelevant to the reality behind this war. The war is plainly stupid, but the military/industrial/governmental complex is not stupid. But yes, the American Public is dumbest of all. BTW, what rock did this Tanner creep crawl into congress from?
Lawrence of Arabia a.k.a T. E. Lawrence, his writings have a similar chilling portrayal of the struggles we are facing today in the Middle east which were the makings of the Arab revolt from 1916-1918 has left lasting effects that reverberate today throughout the world, especially in the desert. The book, ''Seven Pillars of Wisdom'' is an autobiographical account of the experiences of British soldier T. E. Lawrence. General Petraeus is looking to Lawrence of Arabia as an American Strategist.
How incredibly patriotic of you bitch, To sit in your fucking safe place and talk about people in the field as if you have anything in common with him.
Who can listen to this BS???? What a crock! Where are the Kucinich and Ron Paul videos? They are probably the only two (maybe Grayson) who will make any sense. The rest of these idiots are ... well idiots. Now this Tanner puke is lobbying in our Congress on behalf of NATO... JezzzzzUS. This Tanner butthead sounds like he just had 3 drinks and was briefed by Bill O'Reilly - and he's a Dem -- he must have an MIC contractor in his District who pays him through campaign funding kickbacks.
Notice how these greedy pigs put this responsibility on the average soldier, like our troops want to be fighting this war for their pockets... Sad!!! 911 was an inside job... The war was declared against Al Qaeda, but we are fighting the Taliban, WTF???
Win or stalemate there's no benefit to fighting the battle.
Not for the taxpayers anyways, the corrupt Afghanistan government benefits and the junkies benefit with the cheap H that's available now (courtesy of the CIA) but the US taxpayer they get nothing out of it.
Only the US government its capable of fighting wars without benefit to their people. Example Vietnam total debacle, now history repeats. Any benefit out of Vietnam, you know 60,000 patriots died for nothing.
ok... but think of it like this: Pipelines from Kazachstan to the Indian Ocean and Pipelines from Iran to India. google the current projects. Who is building em? Who cashes in on the billions of dollars worth of oil or gas going through those pipelines? Afghanistan isn't rich in natural ressources... but in that region, nobody! earns a penny on those transactions as long as afghanistan aint @ peace. Look at it like that. Russia, China, India and Iran are all over that country if the US leaves.
wrong answer congress. We are still debating on lies! 911 was and always will be a controlled demolition and no debate will change that and this country will never heal unless you all start grabbing your balls and address it! All this is a waist of time. The whole world is laughing!
no body watch this shit.

Don't fight a battle if you don't gain anything by winning.
Erwin Rommel
Looks like its a stalemate so what's the benefit of fighting the sandbox war ? Nothing its all for frickin nothing...

what if the US is winning by the situation over there being a stalemate? Ever pondered that?

Just the Iraq war has cost 1 trillion with future obligations of 3 trillion.
The US government undermined their own war effort in iraq.
1) 12 billion dollars 365 tons of $100 US bills flown in without audit
2) no water logistics for the troops in desert warfare
3) too many tours of duty (some are on their 8th)
The wars are designed to kill as many patriots as possible, the corrupt idiots make a buck along the way.
No benefit to the taxpayers right ?
