  • this should have been on saturday night live what a joke

  • I love the fact that Boise State and TCU are throwing a monkey wrench into the entire BCS process. Division 1 college football is the only major sport in America without a playoff system and no one disputes the fact that its method of determining a champion is a joke. I can't wait for the day that you have undefeated teams from all the major conferences plus a few from the non-BCS schools. Then I want to hear the BCS defenders try to rationalize their messed up system.

  • @govrom12 U right.

Boise State is a great team. But there is simply no way to know how they would stand if they played a few ranked teams back to back, or a top 5 team like Auburn or TCU. They can put up alot of points, sure. But so can South Carolina, and they lost 3 games this year. Bama, same thing.

  • The BCS standings were a fuckin lie.

  • Boise State returned all but one starter this year. Alabama did not. Therefore, Alabama is a vastly different team than last year, and thus their accomplishments last year mean little in this year's ranking.

  • Source. USA today . Michigan state needs to remain unbeaten and hope either Auburn or Oregon lose to play in the National Championship game as they will likely pass Boise and TCU. I said that last week. The sports writers usually catch up to me. I will also tell you the same is true for Missouri and that Michigan State needs Missouri to lose also. An Undefeated Missouri Team winning the Big 12 championship game will pass Michigan State.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier You cantankerous old coot, I'm done arguing with you. If you are ever in Boise, look me up and I'll buy you a beer. Be well :)

  • @jollyjock Nice debate. I enjoyed it. If I ever get up that way I'll take you up on that beer. Good luck this season.

  • That's because the past accomplishments were performed by this same team, same players. It's part of what we have to look at in this case, and it has to be considered.

Virginia Tech isn't pitiful, jeeez man. They lost to JM because they were all beat up after BSU. Look how they rebounded after that. I doubt an sec team will even make the nc game this year. Whoever, Boise will handle them.

  • @jollyjock Then you have to look at Alabamas national championship last year. They beat Va tech. Arkansas. Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina and then beat Florida in the SEC championship game. It's worth noting that Florida stomped #3 Cincinatti 51-24 in the sugar bowl. Alabama then beat undefeated (13-0) Texas.Which one is it? Do the teams start fresh every year or do past accomplishments matter? You can't have both

  • For me I really don't care what y'all think !!! I love Boise State always have always will, we have been the underdog for awhile and we are trying to make a name for ourselves . Give us some respect !! Go BIG BLUE

  • @MonkiesBisket

You know I want too ... But .... Who ( on a weekly basis ) does Boise play? The WAC is weak . So you're believing if boise played in the SEC they wouldn't lose a game ? lol righhtttttt . a one or even two loss team SEC or w/e would be better for the Nat Championship !! It's the WAC , It's their down fall .

  • @MrPopyotop I could not agree any more. It's just so hard to go through a major conference unbeaten. In the SEC, ACC and BIg 12 it's impossible for more than 1 team to be undefeated. The same will be true next year as the Big 10 and the Pac10 have a championship game. The WAC is finished. Boise leaves next year, Freson & Nevada the year after and I'm sure La. Tech will leave. Boise leaving is their own admission of it being a weak conference.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier - You sound subjective as fuck. What makes you think an SEC team actually played football beyond the Mississippi and wouldn't lose compared to Boise not losing in the SEC?.. Get the SEC hype out of your ass, and start realizing that today, the SEC ain't nothing. Playing 1-AA schools and playing eachother isn't anything special to brag about. Sometimes these SEC homers like to get full of themselves.

  • @xchargerOUx Your geography isn't any better than your knowledge of football. LSU plays about 7 games a year beyond the Mississippi as does Arkansas. The SEC ain't nothing? Alot of people would disagree with you as the SEC has 7 ranked teams this week. The last 6 teams that played the SEC for the national championship would disagree also as we are 6-0 in those games including the last 4 in a row. By the way, GOOD LUCK WITH IDAHO this week!!!

  • @OldSouthernSoldier Beyond the Mississippi that means WEST you fucking fudgepacking homo.Geographically the SEC loses when playing in the west. Colorado beat georgia, along with OSU in 09'. Also don't bother to bring up LSU over Washington cause they ain't half the team then, like now in 09'. Auburn is a joke, Cam Newton scrambles and ain't going to be nothing at the next level.. and Alabama is done. Comprehend on geograhically means next time you fucking joke, and tell your mother I said Hi.

  • @xchargerOUx - like now in 10'.. (correction)

  • @xchargerOUx You might want to look at a map before you open your dicksucker again. LSU and Arkansas are west of the Mississippi. We've won our share of games out of conference. Just ask Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Penn State, And Ohio State. Alabama is done because they played LSU and South Carolina. Boise didn't have anything to do with it. All they do is hope the good teams lose. I'll think about you when Newton wins the Heisman. Oh yea, I found your mothers teeth in my doghouse.

  • @xchargerOUx Seems like you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. The SEC has palyed Oregon, West Virginia, North Carolina, Penn State, Colorado, Texas A&M, Clemson (twice), Florida State, Georgia Tech, and 6 others. So that makes you either an idiot or a liar. Which one is it?

  • @MrPopyotop I am a Boise State Alum and you are correct, although I dont like it, you are correct. IMO we should have went all out to get into the PAC 10. When we didnt I knew it was over for the Championship hunt, good post!!!!

  • I will add that BSU played their worst game of the year last night, and still managed to just squeak out a win by OVER 4 TOUCHDOWNS!

  • boise had a great turnout barely filling half their stadium last night...

  • brad edwards is a dumbass....

  • No disrespect but oregon is in a better conference they play teams that have been there in championship games like usc stanford arizona cal and the pac 10 is always among there with the the sec big12 big ten. So oregon does deserve to be there. I want to see boise play a sec team or big 12 team in the future.

  • thats funny because boise state and oregon are both solid good teams, just bc alabama, ohio st., oklahoma, lsu, auburn have these big name schools and teams doesnt mean they automatically have a better football team. boise state has the capability especially this year to compete against any big conference team in the nation, and the same goes for oregon. Im a big boise state fan i always have been because i was born and raised in Boise. i think Oregon and auburn should be ranked higher over bsu

  • I feel boise state keeps getting rob but who can blame them. Unless they play a team like florida, auburn, Ohio state, Lsu , Texas In the future will they are just not going to be number 1. I mean they should travel to those stadiums to see if they really are good. Last year for example they should of play tim tebows gators or ohio state to see if they really were good and then if they would of beat those teams than they would be contenders. We all remember wat florida did to undefeated cin.

  • Those teams ARE afraid pf of t the Broncos, that's a fact. Guys like you love to go back 5 years to point out one loss, (when the Broncos were a completely different team, even a different coach, for god's sake) but you never mention all the big wins since. You ignore them completely, pretend they didn't happen.

Broncos were Junior college National Champs.

Broncos were div 1aa National Champs.

They will be BCS national Champs, bet on it.

  • @jollyjock The fact is Boise played two decent teams and won this year. After that they play nobody. Weak con. weak sched. and no one cares about any of their other games because they just dont matter. The teams in their conference are either someones first game or someones home comming. So winning 2 games against average teams dont put them up with the elite. Look at their schedule San jose st, Wyom, ect. Schedule Alabama week 4 @ bama then they could earn some respect. Until then shhhhhhhh!

  • @GFYUF Boise State, right on schedule, just like I called it. All the old sacred name brand (yawn) teams jumping Boise, then choking. The sec and pac 10 shedules are overrated just like the teams that they have. The reason all the other teams on Boise's schedule are looking so bad is not because they are "nobodies" but because Boise is squashing them. The coaches, who unlike you, understand football recognize that. The computers which stick to facts, unlike you, recognize that.

  • @jollyjock The computers do not recognize that! Every year teams are ranked according to what they did the year before. Do you really think the coaches will have Boise over an undefeated SEC champ at the end of the year? Do you think they will have them ranked over an undefeated Missouri? All Boise can do from here on out is fall and hope to hell EVERYBODY else loses. Boise has beaten one ranked team this year, #23 Va, Tech. C'MON MAN!!!

  • @jollyjock the SEC is overrated? i guess thats why the national champion has been from the SEC the last how many years?? exactly!! and boise's schedule is tough?? give me a break! i hope boise does make it to the national title game against bama or auburn! put an end to all this boise best team in the nation BS!!

  • @Laceypc4 The national champion could just as easily have been from the WAC or the Mountain West as the SEC, and probably should have been. Just as I said, tired old sacred teams often get style points for past accomplishments. Times are changing. There are now many more people in the world, thus more fine football players to choose from, thus many more fine players going to non name brand schools, thus, non name brand schools competing favoraby. Get use to it.

  • @jollyjock YOu Sir are coprrect. Let's just judge this years accomplishments. Boise has beaten #23 Va. Tech. Auburn has beaten #12 LSU, #19 Arkansas, and #21 Mississippi State. Who do you have ranked higher?

  • @OldSouthernSoldier

Auburn has a freakishly good quarterback that runs like a fiend.

Boise State has a freakishly good quarterback that throws the ball better than anybody else. And two incredibly good recievers. A punishing running back. A wicked defense that leaves casualties in it's wake. An offensive line that has allowed 2 sacks this year. (2) Boise State has two shutouts. They have outscored their opponents about a million to one.

Who do you have ranked higher?

  • @jollyjock It's worth noting that the 2 best pro prospect quarterbacks play in the PAC10. The third plays for Arkansas in the SEC. Not only is the Boise quarterback not projected first round, there are ZERO WAC players projected first round. The SEC has half of the first 14 projections. I have Oregon. Auburn Missouri and Michigan State ranked higher than Boise. Thats just what the Data shows. PS That running back would be serving Gatorade if He was at Alabama.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier does that mean that when Oregon, Auburn, Missouri and Michigan State each lose a game, if Boise is undefeated, you will gladly and with smile put them in the NC Game? :)

Doug Martin has out-perfomed every back on every team the Broncos have faced.

"That running back" will be serving Gatorade at the N.C. game too, pouring it over coach Pete after they win!

You know, and I know, that Kellen Moore is unequaled as a college player, regardless of his pro prospects.

  • @jollyjock That does not mean that! I will crunch the numbers like the BCS does. I usually come very close to the actual standings, but then I took the time to understand the system and not just make a case for my favorite team.. He's a good player but you don't think he would be ahead of Ingram and Richardson on the depth chart do you? Cam Newton is the Heisman frontrunner right now so you must know things the rest of us don't. Try to understand the system.

  • @jollyjock Boise just lost to Nevada. Auburn and their freakishly goodquarterback are still undefeated. Auburn has beat South Carolina, Arkansas, LSU, and Albama. None of the mentioned teams have lost more than 3 games this year. I'll stick with Auburn, you can have Boise.

"but they outscored their opponents a million to one"

USC crushed Troy 69-24, Arkansas beat Vanderbuilt 49-14, LSU shit on Luisiana Monroe 51-0!

You want me to keep going? Because I can

  • @jollyjock get style points for past accomplishments? boise is the team that is getting talked about because of past accomplishments! they upset oklahoma beat an ok oregon team and beat tcu who is just like boise! boise hasnt done anything this year besides beat a pitiful vtech team that lost to james madison! like i said best of luck to boise and i hope they make it to the ship against a team from the sec!

  • @Laceypc4 i couldn't agree more. I hope they make it and just shove it down their fucking throats

  • Comment removed

  • It is fun arguing and bickering about which team should be number one, that is the only good thing about the BCS. The problem is, we never get to find out which team is really the best. I really believe that a couple years ago, Utah had the best team in the U.S, what a travesty it was never made official. Last year, BSU and TCU could have whipped anybody else, and a playoff would have proven that.

    Go Broncos!

  • Watch Oklahoma and the other southern teams fall like dominoes the next couple of weeks. Hee hee he.

  • The stars are aligning, I can feel it coming, it's gonna happen. Boise State will play for the national championship this year, and they will win. And it's about time.

  • @jollyjock Keep Dreaming. The computers have Oklahoma 1, Auburn 2 and LSU 3. They also have TCU 5 while Boise has dropped to 7. An undefeated TCU team will be ranked over Boise as will a one loss Alabama and a one loss Auburn. An undefeatde Michigan State will pass them also. By the end of the year Boise will be ranked around 20 in the computers. Good luck with that!

  • @OldSouthernSoldier You seem to be all cozy with the computers now. What happened?

  • @jollyjock The computers are absurd. But they do seem to even out towards the end of the season. My guess is that Boise and TCU drop in the other polls as the Big schools play each other. They have done nothing to deserve a #2 ranking

  • Boise is not spelled Bosie.

And Oklahoma apparently has migrated up to the great white north.

I hope they remembered to pack their longjohns.

And I hope Auburn or LSU jumps "Bosie".

Just one more team to crumple under the pressure of being rated number one.

  • @jollyjock So my typing isn't any better than your geography. In all my other post I spelled it right but thanks for pointing it out. I noticed you used your post time to correct my spelling, again point out that you think Oklahoma is in the south, and hope that the LSU - Auburn winner loses. Not one argument to support BOISE being in the championship game. Pretty weak post if you ask me.

  • BCS is rigged, all about money not about talent and skill. The only thing Paul the jackass Finebaum said that made sense was we need a playoff.

  • @Duramaxin playoff system takes away the beauty of college football. I'm an iowa fan and we won our BCS last year so with a playoff we could of gone to the national championship. A playoff takes away the significance of every game

  • Boise State is currently pulling out their main guys after the first quarter. If Coach Pete wasn't the class guy he is, he would leave the main team in and the scores would be something like 90-0. I suspect the computers would love that, so would the voters. I'd like to see Alabama, oklahoma, or whoever dominate like that against the same teams.

  • @jollyjock Boise is NOT pulling their main guys after the first quarter, and Alabama beat San Jose 48-3 without their Heisman trophy winner. He can run the score up 90-0 if he wants. It will not change his strength of schedule rating.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier There is an old saying that goes "You've made up your mind, so I won't confuse you with any more facts". The only thing I can figure is, you are still riled about Boise State beating one of your beloved southern teams, Oklahoma.

It's worth noting that Boise's current team is WAY better than the BSU team that embarrased your sacred southern team. Go eat some grits and have another beer.

  • @jollyjock I won't confuse you with geography but Oklahoma isn't in the south. Only a retard would think they were. It's YOUR opinion that this Bosie team is WAY better than that one. Yopu know what they say about opinions. The facts are that Bosie plays a Creampuff schedule. So when Va Tech loses 2 more and Oregon state does the same, don't cry to me. Here's another fact. The Auburn LSU winner will jump Boise this week. I'm not much on grits but I'll sure have another beer!

  • Last year, Boise proved they were definately a better team than Oregon, yet Oregon played a VERY tough schedule, and won most of their games. So the "body of work" argument means little. I think Boise has the best college team on the planet right now, and playing a softer schedule doesn't change that. The voters seem to realize that, and hopefully they will stop leap-frogging Boise by the end of the season to give Boise the shot they deserve at the national title.

  • @jollyjock And there is the problem. You think they have the best team, others don't. The only way we would know is if they were playing somebody. Let them play LSU's schedule. (North Carolina, West Virginia, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas), and go undefeated. I'll vote them #1. But then then would still have to win the SEC championship game to stay undefeated.

  • What drugs are you on? Boise is losing ground on strength of schedule and will continue to do so.

  • Inferior teams? I suppose he thought Utah was inferior the year they KILLED Alabama in a BCS game...

  • @benji07 alabama was a much younger team then, it was saban's first year. look what they did the next year. Went undefeated in the SEC(the best conference in football) compared to that tough grind in the mountain west. And speaking of mountain west i believe their team lost in the BCS last year

  • "There's no way Boise St. would have won all three of those games..."

Yeah, just like there's no way that BSU could have beat Oklahoma, Oregon 2x, VT on practically their home field... That's all hypothetical junk. BSU is a VERY good team. They're playing at a high level, blowing out teams with a stronger strength of schedule than most top 25 programs (up to this point). You need to let the teams play their games and see what happens... That's how sports work!

  • It's not the score. It's the fact that Va tech has dropped so far in the polls. Oklahoma is being rewarded for scheduling Florida State and Air Force. This week Oklahoma plays 6-0 Missouri. Boise plays 2-4 La. Tech. It's not all about Boise. Every team needs to be rewarded for their wins.

  • So Boise goes from .913 to .840. and drops to #3. TCU drops to #5. YOu can bet that the Auburn - LSU winner jumps Boise next week

  • it doesn't matter that boise beat VT when they were 7 the first week. what matters is they beat a team that's 7 last week....

  • Boise is 1 Va tech loss away from having ZERO wins against a top 25 team. Oregon State is out. Nevada dropped out. Alabama Auburn and LSU all play each other and then one will play the SEC championship game. Are you telling me that An undefeated LSU team with wins over Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and West Virginia should be ranked behind Boise? Or Auburn with those same SEC wins? Or Michigan State with wins over Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa and Penn State?

  • San Jose got a shot by scheduling them. All the major schools give the little guys a payday game. But Alabama isn't going to schedule them home and home. It makes no sense financially. That game was scheduled years ago. Boise wants home and home, but why would a major school travel to lose money?

  • its so funny how they say that teams could not make that streach and that alabama or any other team would eventually loose. if you play better than average teams would that not make you better for the next weaker challenger? these jokers just like to hear themselves talk.

  • I just saw the new projected BCS standings. 1. Oklahoma 2. Oregon 3 Boise 4. TCU 5. Auburn. No doubt the winner of next weeks Auburn LSU game jumps Boise and TCU also.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier 1. Oklahoma? LOL! They barely got by Air Force and Cincinnati.

  • @alifeofreason Dont shoot the messenger. I still don't like the computers, but Oklahoma did beat Florida State and Texas. Boise just barely got by Va. Tech.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier i ment alabama playing san jose 1st game

  • @OldSouthernSoldier BSU went on the road and just barely beat VT 33-30 in there first game. But if you look at Oklahoma, they just barely got by Utah State in a 31-24 victory in their first game at home. So BSU should be penalized for not beating down VT on the road, but Oklahoma should not? Oklahoma doesn't seem to get much crap fore barely getting by Air Force and Cincinnati with no more than 3 points in each of those games.

  • So much for the BIG game against Nevada! LOL

  • I don't want to hear one more damn thing about oregon state!!!

  • It's not that Boise State isn't a good team. They just aren't tested enough. They just get to sit back and watch other equally good teams ruin each others chances. I mean, OU and Texas were 7 and 8 and now Texas isn't even ranked...and they just beat the number 5 team in the country.

  • @ptricky15 yeah i know. i understand they went out and played good teams but it's much harder to prepare for a ranked team in the middle of the season when you just have six days to prepare

  • and Oregon St. isn't even that good. Boise St. doesn't deserve it. i'm sorry if they had some balls and played an SEC team then yeah maybe. But play them during your bye week. Instead of the game opener where you can prepare for a month for the game. total bullshit

  • @illiniguy88675309 see thats just the thing, its not our fault for not being able to play sec teams, we ask to schedule alabama, florida, texas and they turn us down in all cases, but then we end up playing shit teams like toledo and miami(OH) we cant help it, so fuck you!!! weve lost 4 fucking games the past 5 years and i gurantee your sorry-ass cant say that.BSU 4 life baby!!!!!

  • @manchild12341 Boise wants to schedule home and home. Alabama Texas and Florida can make more money playing at home. Why the fuck would they go to Boise. Georgia had them for a home game a few years ago. Remember that one!! Don't blame the big boys because you are a second or third tier program.

  • @manchild12341 yeah because you come from a shitty conference. You act like everyone denies you because they are afraid. You guys truly are a good team so teams can't afford to schedule you in the nonconference because they have a tough grind in their conference schedule. Iowa has lost three games in the last two years with a BCS win and a win over an SEC team. so FUCK YOU

  • @illiniguy88675309 LSUscheduled North Carolina and West Virginia this year. We went to Washington last year. We scheduled Va Tech a few years ago and Arizona the year before that. NOBODY is afraid to schedule Boise. They just are not going to schedule home and home. Why would LSU travel to lose money. Boise uses that as an excuse. Iowa scheduled Arizona this year and Ohio State scheduled Miami (fla.) Oklahoma played Florida State and Air Force. Texas played UCLA. Oregon Tennessee. cont.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier Alabama played Penn State this year and will again next year. Alabama just signed to play Michigan in Arlington Texas to start the 2012 season. Florida State went to Oklahoma and those people want to tell us they are afraid to go to Boise. As soon as Boise can pay REAL money people will start going there. Until then they may have to travel.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier you need to read the comments on your channel. i would recommend that everone that wants to get into an argument with this jackass read his comments. your a joke

  • @1stLTroastabotch I have an open channel. People can post what they like just as I can. I came on here to ralk about football. Your lack of football knowledge has resorted in foul language and personal attacks. See how far that gets you in life junior. Why don't you try to string a couple coherrent sentences together and make an intelligent paragraph with facts and references. PS FUCK YOU!!!

  • @OldSouthernSoldier Thats so true boise wants to play on neutral growns. They couldn't handle going into death valley for night game with L.S.U. They wouldn't come out of the locker room.

  • fuck that small-minded bald dipshit,GO BSU!!!!! him and mark may can watch the game together when the broncos cruise into the title game

  • @manchild12341 boise state fucking sucks. please give me an argument against why they should be in the national championship. Big Ten/SEC is much better superior conference. Yes Boise St. beat Oregon St. and VT in September but that was SEPTEMBER. Imagine having to play ohio st, alabama, auburn Iowa, or michigan st in october or november with injuries and fatigue as a factor, BSU beat Oregon St who is that good and VT lost to an FCS the next week so they shouldnt be i the championship game

  • @illiniguy88675309 just more garbage commin out of someones mouth that doesnt know shit. your garbage answeres are pathetic. didnt those other teams have just as much time????? your excuses for your team is a joke. we laugh watching you whine. jokers like you just sit back and hate. take anything you can from them hater, not like you have better things to do.

  • @1stLTroastabotch yes they did have just as much time, but don't forget they play in real conferences so they focus more on themselves in august rather than preparing for the fist game while boise can just prepare for their two games that mean anything. And ohio st only had six days to prepare for wisconsin. Boise would not go undfeated in the big ten. oh yeah im a hater, cuz my team, iowa plays in a good conference. and we played a ranked team out of conference too so fuck off

  • What a week of Football. I'm flipping between Texas Nebraska and Arkansas Auburn. I'll be watching Ohio Stat Wisconsin later. And of course don't forget about the big Bosie State against 1-5 San Jose State game.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier i know another Boise shut out. hahahaha

  • @1stLTroastabotch yeah iowa beat penn st. 24-3 and ball st, who is a little more respected than san jose st 45-0 so please shut your fucking mouth. By the way VT lost to a FCS team, and Oregon St. is loosing right now to Washington who's a fucking joke.so please stop calling me a hater and give me a valid fact. Don't just say Boise can do this say what they have done

  • @illiniguy88675309 hahahahahhah. ok. i forget that the youtube community knows more than the pros. its not like boise has beaten 3 of the top 5 teams including the current #1 oregon. but that doesnt matter. you will find a way to take that from them. suck my ass you fucking moron. so sick of hearing the same shit come out of you faggots mouths. you wont get another respose, but your pathetic ass will keep hating. and hey smart guy your teams only loss was 2 arizona. and who did arizona loose 2?

  • @1stLTroastabotch Your entire post makes no sense.

  • @1stLTroastabotch boise st. beat oregon st. who was ranked 24 as of yesterday....so you're wrong

  • @1stLTroastabotch Wow they shut out a team that averages less than 9 points a game and is 1-6. It doesn't take much to impress you.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier its not like #1 alabama didnt play. that was way more interesting though. hahahah. no blowout though. jump on that fuck boise bandwagon boy, its expected of you boners.

  • @1stLTroastabotch 48-3. I would call that a blowout. You are right about Alabama San Jose not being an interesting game. We call those tune up games. You call them meaningful games.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier real meaningful blowout. your responses are garbage. thats the scraps they give us though. you have to play someone

  • @1stLTroastabotch You don't seem to know very much about football. Nobody gives you scraps. Bosie decided to join the WAC and the Boise AD booked the remaining games. I noticed he hasnt booked any more SEC games since Georgia stomped them 48 - 13. I will give Boise credit for leaving the pathetic WAC and joing the Mountain West.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier im done talkin about it. just realized this is getting me nowhere, hahha. good luck 2 you and your team. and i dont know if boise is #1 either. it would be nice to get 1 shot. just 1. i just dont see why fans have to get on and badmouth another team because of a schedule that they cant really help. i mean how the hell did san jose get a shot w alabama?

  • And as far as that "REAL" schedule. There are 7 teams in the SEC that could run that schedule. But they all play each other. I live 1 hour away from La. Tech and 4 hours from LSU. Nobody in Louisiana is confused about the Quality of those 2 football teams.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier You need to spend more time wrestling alligators and less time trying to be a footbal analyst.

  • @jollyjock he's a good analyst. you see when you play good teams, you usually know what's actually going on in college football.

  • Any idiot knows that a computer can only spit out what a human programs in to it. . A computer only recognizes DATA programmed into it. It is incapable of THOUGHT. So don't cry at the end if a 1 loss SEC team jumps Boise in the BCS, Are you really defending Ohio State Ranked 15 and 23?

  • The best thing that ever happened to Boise and TCU was the BCS. You never saw a WAC or Mountain west team in the sugar bowl or the Fiesta bowl before the BCS. So either play a real schedule or STFU.

  • @OldSouthernSoldier You sound a little irritated that great teams like Boise and TCU are finally getting the recognition they deserve. And they do play real schedules. The computer, which doesn't vote it's emotions based on accomplishments 20 years past, recognizes that.

Your abusive language doesn't accomplish anything.

  • A 3-2 oregon state team ranked ahead of ohio state? Those computers are absurd. The good news is a one loss SEC team will be ranked ahead of TCU and Boise. Maybe even a 2 loss Alabama team will be ahead of them. PS. I remember Boise's last trip to the SEC!!!

  • fiembaum got it right. Bosie and TCU do not deserve to play for a championship because they paly nobody! there are 6 teams in the SEC that could easily run the table with either Bosie or TCU's s schedule!

  • @BuckxNastyxNate I don't know what a "fiembaum" is, but I do know experts said BSU would be blown out by Oklahoma. Not

BSU would be blown out by Oregon. (twice) Not

BSU would be blown out by Virginia Tech. Not.

So when these experts say Boise couldn't handle Alabama's Schedule, we can assume they are wrong again. I take it you, too, are an expert Buck?

I do remember an "inferior" Utah team throttling Alabama.

    B.C.S = Beneath Championship Standards.

  • This guy (who made him an expert?) states that non BCS teams are inferior because they couldn't survive Alabama's schedule!? Neither did Alabama.

The top non bcs teams are equal to the top bcs teams, maybe better, and have been for some time.

    B.C.S = Beneath Championship Standards.

  • The NCAA IS KILLING THESE ATHLETES LIFES WITH THE BCS SYSTEM, WE NEED A PLAYOFF SYSTEM AND WE NEED IT ASAP, IF WE DONT WE LOSE THOUSANDS OF FANS EVERY YEAR, WHEN WE GET A PLAYOFF SYSTEM...

THIS IS A MONOPOLY BY THE BCS AND NCAA BASTARDS, ITS REALLY A SHAME... IMAGINE THE BEST 12 TEAMS DUKING IT OUT FOR THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP. THAT WILL BE THE DAY....... CAN'T WAIT

  • Quack

  • Quack

  • Brad Edwards doesnt know anything as well as THESE COMPUTERS. How can ohio state be 1-2 in every poll BUT THE BCS thats just plain bias. Boise is in the BCS cause their STYLE POINTS against inferior opponents. COME ON Guys its the PLAIN TRUTH. IF YOU WANT TO WATCH CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER FOOTBALL WATCH THE OSU GAME SAT NIGHT AND SEE THE TRUE TOP DOG PLAY.

  • @heckman360 every game bsu has had this year against "inferior" every sport caster has commented on how little boise has focused on style points. and "inferior" teams? id like to see you play better. and news flash, bsu beat osu, it was only like 3 weeks ago.

  • "I can't wrap my hands around this uh Boise Debate, uh TCU for the reasons I just said. And that would be uh a uh travesty I think for an alabama ur ur ur another school from down here (hahahaha) to have to sit on the sidelines and have to watch 2 inferior teams watch the National Championship." hahahahah, watching that guy try to assess the situation is like watching a tea-partier talk about a new Obama policy.

  • WE NEED A PLAY OFF.

  • Alabama plays or have played 4 top 10 teams this year....i'd like to see Boise State go undefeated against a schedule like that....not to mention every team that play alabama this year has a bye the week before they play them (2 weeks to prepare)

  • On top that, when the BCS started, Boise was a div2 team, they didn't have the money to even be considered one of the automatic qualifiers. They have since busted their asses and got to where they are today despite how they started compared to your glorious SEC schools. Your basically faulting them for having a weak schedule which is a result of simply money and NOT skill.

  • Besides ALL the SEC teams have EVERY YEAR to have a chance at the title. This is Boise's best chance they've EVER had and probably will have for a while. Are you all so arrogant and greedy that you can't give Bosie this ONE chance to prove to the conferences that they deserve to at least be a part of an automatic qualifying conference?

  • None of us say Boise is the end all be all of football teams. All we want is the chance to be national contenders every year like all of these other teams that we have beaten over the passed few years. I think they deserve at least that.

  • and these Boise State pussies scheduled the worst team in the SEC (Ole Miss) to play against next year...u faggots better not think your good once you beat them, try playing 1 of the 4 SEC teams that are in the top 10

  • @YoWassGood41 you playin? no? then shut the fuck up with that "faggot" shit. i get it you suck the dick of the team you like so much that you might as well be on the team hahaha. your baddd ass is on the sidelines. so stick to bein a cheerleader chump. keep that gap closed

  • sure Boise State can beat a good team once a year, but i'd like them try to take on a full SEC schedule like Alabama. bama has to play tough teams every week, of course they're gonna lose eventually.... but when 90% of your schedule are easy wins (like Boise's) they can focus and put all their efforts into that 1 tough game....Boise State should never get the opportunity to play in the National Championship.....ever

  • finebaumm = retard

  • It honestly doesn't matter who would be ranked #1 right now, if it isn't a team in the SEC, or the east in general, these guys would get on that teams ass so quick. Clearly shows how 1 sided the people debating this stuff over are. They need to get over the fact that Alabama lost, boo hoo. I see it completely corrupt that just because they favor Alabama so much they'd be ranked #1 even with a loss compared to other teams that may go undefeated.

  • PS Don't be shocked when Boise Falls in the coaches poll this week.

  • Boise is only number 1 because of the computers. The Sagarin ratings have Ohio State ranked 15 behind a 2 loss Oregon State team that is ranked 11 and a 2 loss Cal team ranked 9. That is absurd. Sagarin says the pac 10 has 5 of the best 11 teams? So don't cry when a 1 loss Alabama team with wins over Arkansas LSU Auburn Florida Tenn. And probably South Carolina in the SEC Championship takes it's deserved spot in the national Champ game.

  • Wow, this is all kinda funny considering Boise has beaten 3 of the current top 10 teams in the passed 3 years. OU and TCU both at a Fiesta Bowl and the precious current number 2 Oregon TWICE (once at home and once at Oregon!) OH YEA and one of those years they held Oregon to NO first downs in the entire first half! Yea... Boise sure can't hang w/ these guys.... Bottom line is, if you think they don't deserve it, PLAY THEM OR STFU

  • crap..this whole video is biased from reporters from the SEC.

  • "From gsbell", "Broncos will play anybody, anytime, anywhere. Yet, no program is returning his calls." Had to say it again because it is a very great point...and Boise has proved time and time again that they can play. How many times are they going to have to prove themselves before people will actually accept them, for what they are...One hell of a team. And when they say that BSU's schedule will weaken and at the same time the bigger schools will have their schedules strangthen...such a load

  • notice how most analysts stand behind the bcs computers untill someone they dont like makes it into the top ten? frankly these guys couldnt care less how they figure who is the best team, as long as they are from the sec big 12 or the pac 10. what b.s. give boise or tcu the shot they have fought so hard for.

  • @dewdrinkr123 I totally agree with you..they have worked their asses off and still cant get any respect. The BCS is, as "riguy21" says, biting them in the ass.

  • "A travesty if Alabama has to watch from the sidelines as two inferior teams play for the national championship." Wow, this is the most biased thing I have heard on OTL. This is a complete reversal of the argument the Non-AQ teams have been making in that now its the big conferences complaining about how unfair the system is. YOU MADE THE SYSTEM, AND NOW ITS BITING YOU IN THE ASS, DEAL WITH IT. The COMPUTER rankings have Boise State at #1, and last time I checked, formulas aren't biased.

  • why is Nebraska in the top 10? who have they played........ Boise has an awesome team and could beat anyone in the NCAA. Is it not about the best teams going head to head? THIS BSU team has beat 3 top 11 teams.... Oregon, TCU, and VT.. going to add NV and OSU. Both will be ranked... Bama is the best team? They lost to SC.. wtf is this guy smoking... I would say Ohio is better than Bama.

  • blah blah blah! I'd like to see these guys put there sec where their mouth is and play these"inferior" teams. "How dare they take our football away from us"......Seriously?

Why is Oregon ranked so high this year...they haven't had to play BSU who spanked them in Oregon and Boise. They are all Legit! Get over it! Stop hiding behind your sec this and that. Prove your "superiority" and play them.

  • @keenanthered79 BCS contenders don't want to play Boise because:

    1) They got everything to lose.

    2) If they lose, news will spread like wildfire.

    3) Boise Is Much better anyways

    4) They're bunch of scaredy cats.

    5) "The Blue" is Impossible to win at.

    6) and lastly the BCS don't want their good teams to lose to a team like Boise State.

  • ARGH! I can't believe how ignorant that bald headed guy is! He makes me really mad! Straight-up SEC dick rider! Have you been sleeping under a friggin rock for the past decade? Boise State has been the most successful team this past decade! Of course they deserve their shot! Need I say more? I'm so glad Alabama lost. Isn't it ironic though that a team that Under Armour supplies has beaten Alabama again? (Utah-2008, S.C. 2010) lol.

  • do these guys not understand that 2/3s of the BCS poll is human voters and not computers AND boise state is 3rd in most of the other polls. when boise is #3 and sitting outside the national champ game everything is good but once they #2 or #1 in the polls all hell breaks lose. shows just how fucked up the system is.

  • It's not Boize, It's Boise State, geez! lol

  • @gsbell he hasnt made any phone callsdown south

  • PLAYOFF

  • finally people get the rankings right for the first time

  • finally people get the rankings right

  • Reality is the Alabama has been beat, so they aren't the best. Sorry.

  • The bald guy is a tool!! He's a good ol' boy and doesn't want anyone outside the South to win or even be considered for a shot at the championship.

  • We all know the season can go any which way from here on out. Nevertheless, I’d like to see any of the “major conference” teams take Gene Bleymaier up on his request.

“Boise State Athletic Director Gene Bleymaier has said publicly, loudly and clearly that the Broncos will play anybody, anytime, anywhere. Yet, no program is returning his calls.”

  • @gsbell exactly, nobody wants to play boise state because they are scared of losing.

  • @gsbell Nebraska called and they rejected them

  • @gsbell you talk about your anywhere anytime challenge yet last time i checked, nebraska sent an offer for a 3 game set and the school hasnt responded. i dont hate the broncos. im just tired of hearing about how teams are afraid of u and u get no respect. its really simple, if u want respect leave that pathetic conference and join a real one. then youll get the respect u want when if go 12-0

  • I'm an SEC fan, but damn that's some bullshit...calling TCU and Boise State inferior.

  • and i just wanna bring up a point that uh UTAH beat ALABAMA in 2008 so obvioulsy this guy is bitter at the non aq teams ha

  • its bullshit the only reason why boise and tcu dont play teams from other conferences is cuz everyone is afraid to schedule games against them and this guy is suckin the sec right now like come on dude

  • I can't believe I just listened to this SEC dick riding. Same old junk, doesn't matter how good Boise or TCU might be because they play in inferior conferences so their accomplishments are void. That Paul guy is a joke, he'd take a 1-loss team from ANY other major conference over Boise? SEC, Big 12, Pac-10, and maybe the ACC and Big 10, but an undefeated Boise/TCU>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>1-loss Big East team

  • @dipship31 well its true play strong teams and you will win but this sec cock sucking is unbelievable

  • this paul guy is a dick
