  • So nostalgic !!

  • Can I be a kid again PLEASE??? *sniff*

  • RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This music brings back so many good childhood Memories.

  • Yesterday while watching this scene me and my mum finally figured out why my little brother has such a huge fear of meteors....

I accidently scarred my brother by watching a Disney film. Heheh.

  • Omigosh! Then comes Sora from Kingdom Hearts crashing down on their island... and most of them died.

    Thanks alot, Sora. lol

  • @Catastian lol or Megatron :3

  • @mydragonlight96 Or Deathwing...he works too.

  • This song is so epic and cool!!!!

  • I like it how Aladar carries his family

    on his back!

  • wow.....

  • Haha... I remember the little hand puppets that they made for this movie... XD

I had Aladar, Neera and Kron.

Kron's mouth was SO HARD to move XDD

  • This song and riding the ride made me feel soooo bad for the dinosaurs...

    1:55 Chills! Epic chills!

  • thumbs up if you have the Dinosaur box with Aladar and Plio, and you can see there island behind Aladar's neck

  • is it just me or did everyone say RUN ALADAR RUN at the right time :D

  • I pretend I am a parasauralophus following Aladar through the whole moive.

  • 1:09 i can see the meteorite falling clearly still

  • porr dinosauurs :

  • THIS PART WILL NEVER FAIL TO MAKE ME CRY. I LOVE THIS FILM AND I ALWAYS HAVE.

  • I love this part; "Run, Aladar! Run, RUN!!!" then 1:55 starts :D (so epic)

  • James Newton Howard is the man! =D

  • No dislikes..hm, that's what I thought ;)

  • @PrimroseBlack dont say "no dilikes" cause trolls will attack!

  • Check out my piano rendition of They're All Gone from Dinosaur!

  • Wow, I remembered the first third of this song perfectly, and I havent seen this movie in years. Memorable scene.

  • fuck i loved this film, and i still do

  • 1:34

Sounds like the strings are having a heart attack. xD

  • Always loved this movie. Even now I can still picture this scene perfectly.

  • lol I still remember when McDonalds had those little plastic dinosaur puppet toys in their happy meals... Of course, I was about 4 or 5 at the time... haha

  • @BJARRGH12 I bought 'em all

  • This is an excellent movie with an even better soundtrack :)

  • I really can't get over how good these graphics are! Even back then, in 2000 when this movie first hit theaters, the dinosaurs looked so realistic! :O

  • @TakaZeno I think only the dinosaurs were CG, shot with a live action environment.

  • @EtienneLF Yeah, they were. And yeah if you read the credits at the end, it says where they shot the scenes at.

  • I remember that I always got scared for Aladar and the other lemurs in this scene, even though I had seen millions of times. I kept yelling into the television, "Run, Aladar! Dodge it before you get burned! Jump, Zini, jump!!!!"

Heh heh. Those were the good old days.

  • Best movie ever. Best part is 1:54

  • Dieser Soundtrack läuft doch auch

in Wuze Town im Phantasialand (:

  • @KleinesWonniBaby

Stimmt! Bei 1:45 kommt dann: Winjas Fear/force *blitzt* :D

  • @KleinesWonniBaby

ouhps ich meinte bei 1:25 :D!

  • @KleinesWonniBaby

jaa wen man da mit diesem aufzug hochfährt neh

  • @Tata170993 ja genau :D

  • Wow this music gives me chills..but still Awesome!!, it kinda reminds me of WAr of the Worlds starting at 1:55 and/ 2:06

  • Then you were a fucked up kid. Dinosaurs, explosions, and talking monkeys? It's what every goddamn kid dreams of. The fact that the soundtrack is phenomenal would probably go over most kid's heads, but the kickass CGI and giant friggin carnataurs kept most kids entertained on the shallowest of levels. Add to that the fact that this movie actually has some depth, and that'll keep you coming back for more.

  • @thevoiceofdissent

    wow shut up

  • ._. Your eloquent rebuttal has left him speechless, no doubt.

    P.S.

    NO U

  • @cheezbawl2003

wow you can shut up too

He just irritated me with his harsh and unnecessary long response to 'Limiproductions'. I did not wish to engage in some long multi-paragraph argument over in it, in the comments section of youtube. lame-o

  • @cheezbawl2003

    point taken

  • @cheezbawl2003

Or rather, "I understand now", because there was no point to be taken. But now it alll makes sense.

  • when i was a little kid, like about 7,the meteor scene would scare the shit out of me XDDDD this movies awsome though :D

  • HOWART JAMES NEWTON ROCKS!

  • this part of music serves for the fight scenes.

  • Is it just me dreaming or does this piece sound very much like "le sacre du printemps" (rite of springs) from Igor Stravinsky?, Because is 1:55 exactly the same as a part of "le sacre du printemps" as you can hear it here: /watch?v=-gZbMOq_Ge8&feature=related at 3.20.

Is this a coincidence? Did they use this because disney used "dying dinosaurs" already in their movie "fantasia"?

  • Have you ever heard the phrase "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"? Every composer draws from past influences. It's much more likely that this would remind you of the Rite of Spring due to the fact that this is a tribal rhythm, as opposed to the dinosaur connection. The Rite of Spring is a series of tribal dances, with the first one being the most "primitive".

  • Tribal drums/rhythms have long been a favorite of Hollywood composers, as seen with the heavy use of Taiko, Bodram, Conga, Djmbe, and other such percussive instruments.

  • eist munne shizte

  • run aladar run XDDDDDD

I really like that passage of the movie.... it's so sad T_T
