The basic layout of controls are the same, but the gameplay is very different. You can't crouch, for example, and to run you double tap the analog stick.
There are smash attacks and tilts, but there's no optional charge-up for smash attacks.
Counterpicking stages will not be nearly as important in this game. Ring outs are very much a rarity, and almost each stage has its own share of hazards.
To put it another way, if you were to divide the stages into neutrals and counterpicks, there would probably be two or three neutral stages total.
this game looks fun are the controls same as smash like all directions tilts like up A and Up B moves
