@iwasadeum Wtf really your just ignorent for saying that I'll kill your family you want my address u can have it I'm a armed guard bring it I'll give u my address if u give me yours
@johnbarryism who even knows if he threatened the cop. cops always make up excuses as to why they beat the shit out of people. he ran from me and i had to stop him, he took a swing at me, he said he'd kill my family. sad thing is, most of the time they get away with it with these bullshit excuses. your word (the criminal) against the cops (the saviors)
@warderwine yeah...lets just take his word for it eh ;) you fucking moron, and anyway, its called professional conduct, you cant rise to shit like that, if your going to lose your temper over every empty threat that comes your way...you have no business being a person of authority and power
@warderwine im going to tie you up to a chair, then im going to tie a knife to my dick, and rape your grandmother in the ass, right in front of you, get it all on video, and send it to all of your loved ones...I JUST THREATENED YOUR FAMILY. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
@ralphymcdooglepants You know what is sick about all of this. The hype about the house to house and taking young boys to prison. As i recall Israel was going house to house and killing young children at point blank range and the media had to stand on a hill with by-focal lens to see what's really happening. Israel had Ban any journalist from entering Gaza. Some journalist had to stop reporting. Ask Anderson Cooper of the CNN or any BBC reporter who was there. And yes Assard will be overthrown.

i cant stand when cops think they can do whatever they want well thats just shows that you guys cant i hate that play by the rules just like we have to its not like the guy was resisting he was handcuffed
if the officer was white the coverage of the event would have been alot more. but i would say this idiot probably deserved it. you know cops have a hard enough time dealing with this trashy side of society. everyone wants to be all holier than now. but when they get in trouble they want action immediately from the police. at least he only hit him in the legs. i would have broke his face so he couldnt talk trash anymore.
@dauser3d420 And that's why you are not and could never be a law enforcement officer. Thank god. And LOL at 'immediate action from the police'. Never happens unless it's to write a ticket or DUI arrest. It is a rare occurrence for the police to prevent a crime from happening before or during the act. And that's really not the fault of the police. I think most people would prefer to handle many situations themselves but the law hinders them from being able to do so in many cases.
i love it, only wish that was a sword instead of a stick. hahahaha. the C.O. should ve gotten an award. hahahaha stupid criminals. they deserve to suffer.
Most people will say that 's one of the few "bad apples" on the Police Force, but notice how none of the other officers tried to stop the bad cop. In fact, they all acted as though it was a common practice for Police Officers to engage in that kind of behavior. None of the other cops standing around was alarmed by the obvious out of control knucklehead cop.
TRUTH BE TOLD;
Most cops are bad apples. A good cop is a rare apple.
It's a sickening abuse of power. And it's all too common. People want to think that just because a person is arrested or taken to jail that they are bad guys or criminals that deserve what they get. This is rarely the case. I spent a night in jail because of a computer error on the cops part. I was in the hospital for three days after that and it wasn't inmates that beat me. Apparently it merits a beating to ask to speak with a lawyer or to want to know why you've been placed in jail.
LOST HIS JOB?????? I WOULD SUE HIS ASS!!!!!!!! so what some drunk nobody threatened your family? cops deal with it all the time. drunk is just that, a drunk. drunk doesn't know shit about him/his family. drunk doesn't know where he lives. drunk does know that if he REALLY DID ATTEMPT TO SPARK OFF...he would never see his next birthday. come one people. 27 times? while handcuffed? cop is BITCH! At least, uncuff him, then fight it out. even fired, I would actually FEEL LIKE A MAN THEN.
Oh if i was a judge.......i would allso get a stick and beat the officer to the death. loose his job fuck me..........execute him in front of his familly
Everyone is quick to bad mouth cops but when they need one it is a totally different situation. I've been on both ends of the spectrum dealing with them and have a lot of respect for what they do. Their job sucks and it is thankless work usually and pays for shit. Only thing i would suggest differently to the officer is beating the little monkey off camera.
@EliteMuffHunter Cops actually get paid pretty well. I don't know why there is this myth that cops get paid peanuts. They get paid a lot more than teachers. And way more than soldiers, which is a far more dangerous job. More than firefighters in many cases, which is a far more dangerous job. Not to mention the perks they get for the job such as their benefits, pensions, free meals, security gigs a large events for extra $, largely being above the law, etc...
Prison is meant to be unpleasant...he is there because he is already a proven scumbag. Apparently he still has not learned anything and this officer was merely helping him along with his rehabilitation process. All these thugs know and respect is violence.
@EliteMuffHunter That is not a prison, it is a jail. Big difference. Could be there for an unpaid parking ticket for all we know. Could be there simply because the cop didn't like him, which is very possible. 'Contempt of cop' arrests are all too common. You are pretty quick to judge a man you know nothing about. All I see is a guy that is maintaining his cool while being illegally beaten.
a cop hitting a person for no reason the cop only lose their job... a person hitting a cop for no reason he will get send to jail or lose his life.. this is so fking bullshit man.. we r living in some kind of unfair world... why cant we just starting to protect ourself and fk the police!!! all they do is arrest u for no reason and let u explain to the judge.. if u r lucky u can afford a lawyer if not u better wash ur nasty ass to get rape in jail..
@Solowizard Would you have done that? taken his handcuffs off and made it a fair fight...after he threatens you and your family? or would you just beat the shit out of him
Message to all Youtube users: The person that you called an idiot for not knowing how to spell has a Ph.D and many educational awards in his country. Just because he does not know English up to par does not make him dumb...
People don't get, Cops are supposed to use their training. NOT their emotions. You have to understand, if cops are allowed to get away with using their emotions as an excuse, than any and everyone is in danger. If the cop wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, and you cross path's with him or her, YOU MAY END UP DEAD. However, most people think it will happen to every body else because they obey the law. Yet most people break laws EVERYDAY not knowing it. A PISSED Cop can make you aware of that.
It doesn't matter if the inmate deserved it or not. We as a society have rules and standards of government, and this clearly violated those standards. If you feel this type of behavior is acceptable, you should consider moving to a 3rd world country, where your views will blend in perfectly with the environment.
People complain about how criminals are running riot and the police aren't doing anything. soon as they beat on a prisoner, it's police brutality! These things happen ALL the time, just that 9 times out of 10 it's not capture don cam. and the smart cops beat u in the back of a van with tinted windows. anyway who cares, criminals deserve it!
@SuperKoreanzombie It's not the job of the police to punish criminals. Only detain them. That is why we have the court system. When/if this guy gets convicted...then he is a criminal. Until then, he is just a guy that got arrested. Innocent people get arrested all of the time for simply pissing off a cop. That is not a crime. The illegal arrest made by an officer in that kind of situation is though.
this officer let the inmate get to him...don't forget anything you say or do can be admitted in a court of law, i would have just laughed and said guess who's got another charge.
@mattslily stupide fuck i agree with the family part but depends on the setting but neutralize the threat? neutralizew you ass you zsouynd liek a douchefuckingbag police officer gtfo you fat donut eating pieace of shit you derserve to be beat down 10 times harder than trhis guy fuckign scumbag
cops are trained to serve not beat people up. Sure the guy threaten the cops family but he was probably pissed and when people get pissed they say shit, that's life. If I say "f**** u" to a cop does that give him the right to beat my leg until it breaks..no of course not. Crooked cops that needed more training and in this case doesn't deserve to be a cop. A cop should be more composed. Also that other cop that just pretended not to notice anything should get fired too.
If the officer was trying to harm him, he'd hit him in the face. He was just trying to get the suspect to become compliant. He should not have been fired.
@gkilla777 ....in this case the individual was handcuffed and he did not look like he was in any way threatening the safety of the officer. Another factor is that the department fired him, probably for this. A proken leg via an ASP baton is more than likely a compound frature..... which takes a long time to heal. The victim ought to both press charges and sue the shite clean out of that deputy for the way he acted, think of it.... he knew he was in front of a camera, DUH XD
@gkilla777 "The cop was obviously trying to bring him down to the floor, I had cops on me enough time's to know what Im talking about."
There are better ways to get a handcuffed man to the floor than hitting him 20 something times with a baton. Simple take down? Taser? Besides, he did get him to the ground early in the video. Then obviously let him up only to try to get him back on the floor a minute later? Riiiiiiighht. The cop in this video was wrong.
@gkilla777 The "suspect" was in handcuffs... why would they need him on the ground anyhow? They were at intake and about to process him..... it was uncalled for which was why the officer lost his job. If they had a reason to take him down to the ground it would have been clear in the video, the guy was not fighting just trying to avoid the strikes to his leg. He was not resisting them in any way, probably looking for a deep pocket to sue and talked enough shit to piss the cop off.
i think that dude dared the cop to break his legs "my legs are made of a super steel alloy, no pig can break them! I dare you pigs to break my sticks!!!"
There are some good cops out there but not enough of them, so I pretty much don't like or trust cops! They really are the biggest organize crime in the world! believe that, if not your pretty naive, and that's the truth!
Give me a break! Cops get threatened all the time, it comes with the job and they should be able to handle it without going ballistic on people. This cop is just another bullying piece of shit with a badge. Fuck him.
@joshasc Even though I would sacrifice my own life to save yours or your family's without even knowing you? You should learn to have some respect for people who risk so much for you to have the life you do.
Do you know what the perp did in the van or what was said in the van to incite the police officer to react like that and beat the man.???
Furthermore you did not see him beat the man anywhere other than his legs when he could have beaten him on the rest of the criminals body.
Cops have to handle the scum of the earth everyday and if you were to be there with the cops, for sure you would want to administer some discipline to a few criminals yourself.
Discipline? You don't "discipline" someone with a nightstick.
Besides, it's not up to the officer to teach this man discipline.
Sure, if the someone threatened me and/or my family, I would beat the shit out of them, or "discipline" them, in your words.
But I'm not a cop, and cops are supposed to be professional, which this is FAR from. No matter what anyone says to you, you don't have the legal right to strike them repeatedly with a nightstick, especially an upholder of the law.
@AlexWerkmeister712: You have a point but you are not taking into consideration many, many factors.
Some police officers are somewhat geared to be heavy handed and their actions are un called for.
You can let the criminals rule or let the officers rule.
I do not condone police brutality..no one does. However under some circumstances the police officers have to subdue a perp that is trying to harm the police officer and the police officers have the right to defend themselves.
Never did I say cops don't have a right to defend themselves.
But this wasn't defense. This was a brutal attack of a man who was already subdued and who didn't even try to resist or run away from the brutality.
The criminal was in to way "ruling." He was in cuffs, being transported to jail. The officer was in no direct harm.
If a cop is "geared to be heavy handed" (brutally abusive), he/she isn't fit to be a part of any police force, and is no better than the criminal he was beating.
No matter what happened inside the van, what happened outside of the van wasn't self-defense, and was more than excessive, brutal abuse of power.
This is a real concern, regardless of what incited the officer. The man was detained, and was not a threat; just an easy target.
Also, the news report didn't say anything about the officer being kicked or spit on in the van, and only mentions the verbal threats, so I agree, it is highly unlikely there was any physical assault in the van.
So the police officer is the bad man here and the inmate has done nothing wrong and should be let free or absoved of any wrong doing and we should want to hang the police officer for stepping over the line.
It does not bother me that the police officer let his rage fall on a criminal who has done harm in any number of ways and the police officer decided to vent his anger some.
Never did I say that the inmate did nothing wrong and should be released. Nor did I say that people should want to hang the cop for his foolish brutality.
Also, it doesn't matter what bothers you, personally. The fact of the matter is, a human is not a punching bag for stress relief, especially for a someone who's supposed to be setting a prime example of an authoritative figure who's job is to uphold the law.
@AlexWerkmeister712 : It happens somtimes. A lot of things happen sometimes so you can also argue it would not have happened if the man had not been a criminal in the first place and ended up in such a situation.
So now that it did happen we all agree that the police officer stepped out of bounds and used excessive force and unreasonable force so let us get over the spilled milk and try to weed out the bad cops and support the good cops who remove the scum off the street and protect you.
What do I personally want done about it? Well, it would only make sense that the cop is fired (already happened), and that he is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and police brutality (if he hasn't already).
But this isn't about what I want. I was merely proving a point.
@happyharv1 no mate, cops are paid to be neutral, doesnt matter if he said he would rape his mother or kill his kids, unless hes life is in danger he has to sit back and take it like a good little puppet
@SickSadSorry:It happens sometimes and not nearly as much as it "Could Happen"
After reading your anti establishment and anti police comments it is clear you have a hard on for police and law enforcement.
I would surmise, easily enough, you are like so many righteous citizens that have a beef with authority UNTIL you need their services one day and THEN you finally realise law enforcement is a necessary function of a civil society,as flawed as it may be.
@happyharv1 Anti-establishment and anti-police comments? Where? I am anti-corruption and against abuse of power.
I never said law enforcement was unnecessary. However, it is in deep need of reform. Corrupt cops need to be held accountable for their actions. No exceptions. The requirements to become a cop need to be increased. As it is, we give these people a gun and full authority after a short certification course. It's harder to get certified to wipe asses in nursing homes.
@SickSadSorry:Re-read your previous comments.Easy enough to surmize you are angry about law enforcement.
You have your points but I will remind you that the citizens are far, far more concerned about holding the criminals accountable than they are the law enforcement officials.
Or we could have the criminals running wild and beating the cops with sticks.
You choose.
We know the overwhelming majority of police are not brutal nor do they practice police brutality but it happens sometimes.
@happyharv1 Criminals do need to be held accountable. However, a cop who abuses his power IS A CRIMINAL, and falls under the same umbrella. It's not a criminal vs police officer issue. It is an issue of all criminals being held equally accountable. Unfortunately, some criminals happen to have badges.
I agree that the majority of police officers are not brutalizing citizens. However, it is becoming a huge problem in this country and must be stopped.
@SickSadSorry: I do not condone police brutality and I am not defending the actions of the man seen in the video as being conduct that should be ignored.
If and when a inmate or prisoner is belligerently "not co-operating" with the authorities then what exactly would you have them do.
Have a nice little pep talk with the man and ask him to please, pretty please cooperate with us.
If you have the answers other than he should not be hit like that then we are all ears and waiting your wisdom.
@happyharv1 I was speaking of this video specifically. However, there are very few (if any) situations in which repeatedly beating a handcuffed inmate with batons is warranted. It is a well known fact that cops/guards use the "power in numbers" method to subdue people. A group of grown men should easily be able to overwhelm one handcuffed inmate without having to beat him repeatedly with a baton. Many cops seem to think they have the right to physically punish offenders. They don't.
@SickSadSorry: I have to apologise ..it was another commentor that was making really nasty anti establishment anti police comments on another similar video.
Meantime let us agree that police need to be policed and it has always been that way anyhow.
Sooner or later there is a police shake down and many of the bad apples are eliminated
and the incidents are less frequent.
Meantime the criminals are still out of hand and for some reason I dont really feel sorry for the criminal guy.
@happyharv1 I agree that the police do need to be policed.
As far as the guy getting hit in the video, we have no idea if he is actually a criminal. Innocent until proven guilty. The cops actions in this video make it hard for me to take anything he says about this incident as truth.
@SickSadSorry: I agree..but actually policing it is not easy.
Meantime you see by way of other peoples comments there are plenty of people that are not bothered at all knowing that criminals are treated like they are and many feel the criminals get what they deserve.
Of course if you are on the recieving end your going to be re-thinking but still many people feel that criminals should be made to feel at least a little discomfort ..but not as much seen in the video and suffer for their crimes.
@happyharv1 People who agree with this cops actions are simply showing favoritism to one criminal over another. They claim to detest criminals, yet they're supporting criminal behavior. I support any cop that acts in a lawful manner, but once a line is crossed, they too become criminals. Policing may not be easy, but that goes for many other jobs. Even if a job is hard, obeying the laws which pertain to that job should be fairly simple for a person with integrity.
@SickSadSorry: Yep..you are correct and that is the "theory".
In practice people screw up all too often and lose control of their emotions and vent their anger.
Many people would say to you: "Anytime you want to saddle up and join the police force and lead they way your welcome to do so."
Meantime we are all observers and or critics but still we are all reliant on the police to be benevolent and helpfull rather than evil and detrimental.
@happyharv1 The people making comments have no idea if the guy is a criminal or not. We don't if he really threatened the cops family. Even if he did, the cop can't beat him for that reason. If he's a criminal, he'll get the discomfort that he deserves. I don't imagine there is anything enjoyable about being locked away in a cage, away from friends & family, with your freedoms stripped away from you. All the while having to worry about dropping the soap in the shower.
@SickSadSorry:I Do not disagree, but again you see many of the comments and many people applaud the use of power over the criminals and they agree that a beating is sometimes needed in extreme cases.
I dont agree with that aspect but many people are adamant that when a scum bag criminal is out of hand then he gets what he deserves.
Whether the guy in the vidoe is deserving of what we witness is in question.
That and how to make sure the police do not make it common practice.
@happyharv1 You must be a white racist.because if that cop was beating you down on your leg like that repeatedly you would certainly feel different about that cops actions. But as long as that cop was beating down a black handcuffed unarmed man then it is alright with you regardless of whether he was complying with him or not.
If you get the right cop, it does not matter what color you are, there just assholes that joins the police force to get back at all people because they were bullied, or not popular, or sucked at sports, and some are racist!
@michaelbrooks1978 I am 6'6 200lb. I was starting varsity QB in 9th grade. I was 17-0 Golden gloves at 17. I would not hesitate to sacrifice my own life to save yours or your family's. I have never met a single officer that became one to "get back at bullies". It makes me sad that I choose to risk my life as well as my wife and daughter's future to make people like you able to live without constantly fearing for your safety.
@BornBW Lol, give it up dude. Your life is no more at risk every day than millions of other American citizens. There are tons of jobs that carry more risk than being a police officer. Cops are more of a burden to society than they are a help. Go write your little tickets today, put a pot smoker or two in jail, and pretend like you "protected" something. Pretend like you narrowly escaped death. And then come back to youtube and fish for respect.
@BornBW that assumes there's something you need to protect them from. like what, "criminals"? only that the criminals you lock up are those that are desperate because they cant make a living and a future for themselves and have to steal and rob to even have the chance for a good standard of living. all the while the government and central bank of your country steals a couple of million times that amount that your small "criminals" do, and you stand idly by and do NOTHING
@stoneeh 98% of those whom you speak of steal and rob because they are drug addicts, not because they can't support their family and even if that was the case they know right from wrong. Who's fault is it that they can't get a good job? No one but their own. There are plenty of options out there for people who aren't lazy. Go to a truck driving school where it is almost no cost up front, go to technical schools which are cheap, Mow lawns, ect ect. There is no excuse to steal from anyone.
@BornBW or if you need money you can always join the police or the army, because the government will never stop ruining their country in the long term by running deficits and printing money to keep themselves in power for the short term by hiring more personel that will keep them in power. luckily though not everyone choses that route, so the real unemployment numbers (including long term discouraged workers which are not reported in the government numbers) in the US is around 20%
@BornBW you not only do nothing, worse, at their command you have to protect them from outraged citizens that protest against the injustice they cause. the main function of the police and military is to protect the rich and powerful and make everyone a "criminal" who doesnt play by their (THEIR, not our) rules, while they themselves, the real professional criminals that they are, continue to lie and steal and cause suffering on a scale you probably cant begin to comprehend
@BornBW that is a valid point, and that is about the only thing that police is good for.. stopping burglaries and aiding in accidents/catastrophes. everything else they do is anti-citizen
@michaelbrooks1978 But guess what, I will continue to do it. You can sleep easy tonight knowing that I am the shield that blocks the real world from getting to your world.
@BornBW You sound like an egotistical cop, just like the one on the video seen here, who is now probably sitting behind the very bars that he has put so many people behind.Did you ever stop to think about the "good" people that get arrested for STUPID shit?Think about it....The laws can corrupt even you my friend!
@BornBW I've been reading all of your comments and you are truly pathetic. Everybody pat this douche on the back and thank him for saving our lives on a daily basis. He is begging for respect like a starving person would beg for a snack. Please give it to him. One of the parking tickets he writes today just might save your life.
@BornBW The world doesn't owe me a thing. Including respect. You know, the thing that you seem to think your career choice automatically entitles you to. Like most things, if you want it, you have to earn it. The only thing people are entitled to from birth are basic human rights. Something you likely place little to no value on. You have a great day as well kid. Get out there and make your owners some money like a good little boy. Try not to abuse anyone in the process.

SickSadSorry 2 days ago
Prison is meant to be unpleasant...he is there because he is already a proven scumbag. Apparently he still has not learned anything and this officer was merely helping him along with his rehabilitation process. All these thugs know and respect is violence.
EliteMuffHunter 3 days ago
@EliteMuffHunter That is not a prison, it is a jail. Big difference. Could be there for an unpaid parking ticket for all we know. Could be there simply because the cop didn't like him, which is very possible. 'Contempt of cop' arrests are all too common. You are pretty quick to judge a man you know nothing about. All I see is a guy that is maintaining his cool while being illegally beaten.

SuperKoreanzombie 4 days ago

If I say "f**** u" to a cop does that give him the right to beat my leg until it breaks..no of course not. Crooked cops that needed more training and in this case doesn't deserve to be a cop. @gkilla777 ....in this case the individual was handcuffed and he did not look like he was in any way threatening the safety of the officer. Another factor is that the department fired him, probably for this. A proken leg via an ASP baton is more than likely a compound frature..... which takes a long time to heal.
SickSadSorry 2 days ago
@gkilla777 The "suspect" was in handcuffs... why would they need him on the ground anyhow? They were at intake and about to process him..... it was uncalled for which was why the officer lost his job. If they had a reason to take him down to the ground it would have been clear in the video, the guy was not fighting just trying to avoid the strikes to his leg. He was not resisting them in any way, probably looking for a deep pocket to sue and talked enough shit to piss the cop off.

Hey,some people NEED discipline.
Do you know what the perp did in the van or what was said in the van to incite the police officer to react like that and beat the man.???
Furthermore you did not see him beat the man anywhere other than his legs when he could have beaten him on the rest of the criminals body.
Cops have to handle the scum of the earth everyday and if you were to be there with the cops, for sure you would want to administer some discipline to a few criminals yourself.
happyharv1 1 week ago
@happyharv1
AlexWerkmeister712 1 week ago
@AlexWerkmeister712: You have a point but you are not taking into consideration many, many factors.
Some police officers are somewhat geared to be heavy handed and their actions are un called for.
You can let the criminals rule or let the officers rule.
I do not condone police brutality..no one does. However under some circumstances the police officers have to subdue a perp that is trying to harm the police officer and the police officers have the right to defend themselves.
happyharv1 1 week ago
@happyharv1
AlexWerkmeister712 1 week ago
@AlexWerkmeister712: How do we not know that the perp was kicking and spitting and threatenting to kill the police officer and his family.
More than likely not but you have to ask just what happened in that van to incite the officer to do what he did.
If the officer had a past record of beating and abusing prisoners and criminals in custody then we have a real concern.
Officers lose it sometimes as do you and I and they are to be held accountable..no disagreement there.
happyharv1 1 week ago
@happyharv1
AlexWerkmeister712 1 week ago
@AlexWerkmeister712 You may be right ..we do not know for sure.
What do you want to be done about it.
So the police officer is the bad man here and the inmate has done nothing wrong and should be let free or absoved of any wrong doing and we should want to hang the police officer for stepping over the line.
It does not bother me that the police officer let his rage fall on a criminal who has done harm in any number of ways and the police officer decided to vent his anger some.
happyharv1 1 week ago
@happyharv1
AlexWerkmeister712 1 week ago
@AlexWerkmeister712 : It happens somtimes. A lot of things happen sometimes so you can also argue it would not have happened if the man had not been a criminal in the first place and ended up in such a situation.
So now that it did happen we all agree that the police officer stepped out of bounds and used excessive force and unreasonable force so let us get over the spilled milk and try to weed out the bad cops and support the good cops who remove the scum off the street and protect you.
happyharv1 1 week ago
@happyharv1
What do I personally want done about it? Well, it would only make sense that the cop is fired (already happened), and that he is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and police brutality (if he hasn't already).
But this isn't about what I want. I was merely proving a point.
Peace!
AlexWerkmeister712 1 week ago
@happyharv1 no mate, cops are paid to be neutral, doesnt matter if he said he would rape his mother or kill his kids, unless hes life is in danger he has to sit back and take it like a good little puppet
oskar123419 6 days ago
@oskar123419: Not saying the cop is right. Just saying it happens sometimes and you have to ask what lead up to the beating.
If the perp did nothing at all then the cop is wrong but we do not know what happened leading up to the incident.
Of course there is the chance the cop is just sadistic, as some are, but very few.
happyharv1 6 days ago
@happyharv1 It doesn't matter what led up to the incident. The cop is repeatedly hitting a handcuffed man with a stick. Are you fking serious?
SickSadSorry 6 days ago
@SickSadSorry:It happens sometimes and not nearly as much as it "Could Happen"
After reading your anti establishment and anti police comments it is clear you have a hard on for police and law enforcement.
I would surmise, easily enough, you are like so many righteous citizens that have a beef with authority UNTIL you need their services one day and THEN you finally realise law enforcement is a necessary function of a civil society,as flawed as it may be.
happyharv1 6 days ago
@happyharv1 Anti-establishment and anti-police comments? Where? I am anti-corruption and against abuse of power.
I never said law enforcement was unnecessary. However, it is in deep need of reform. Corrupt cops need to be held accountable for their actions. No exceptions. The requirements to become a cop need to be increased. As it is, we give these people a gun and full authority after a short certification course. It's harder to get certified to wipe asses in nursing homes.
SickSadSorry 5 days ago
@SickSadSorry:Re-read your previous comments.Easy enough to surmize you are angry about law enforcement.
You have your points but I will remind you that the citizens are far, far more concerned about holding the criminals accountable than they are the law enforcement officials.
Or we could have the criminals running wild and beating the cops with sticks.
You choose.
We know the overwhelming majority of police are not brutal nor do they practice police brutality but it happens sometimes.
happyharv1 5 days ago
@happyharv1 Criminals do need to be held accountable. However, a cop who abuses his power IS A CRIMINAL, and falls under the same umbrella. It's not a criminal vs police officer issue. It is an issue of all criminals being held equally accountable. Unfortunately, some criminals happen to have badges.
I agree that the majority of police officers are not brutalizing citizens. However, it is becoming a huge problem in this country and must be stopped.
SickSadSorry 4 days ago
@SickSadSorry: I do not condone police brutality and I am not defending the actions of the man seen in the video as being conduct that should be ignored.
If and when a inmate or prisoner is belligerently "not co-operating" with the authorities then what exactly would you have them do.
Have a nice little pep talk with the man and ask him to please, pretty please cooperate with us.
If you have the answers other than he should not be hit like that then we are all ears and waiting your wisdom.
happyharv1 6 days ago
@happyharv1 I was speaking of this video specifically. However, there are very few (if any) situations in which repeatedly beating a handcuffed inmate with batons is warranted. It is a well known fact that cops/guards use the "power in numbers" method to subdue people. A group of grown men should easily be able to overwhelm one handcuffed inmate without having to beat him repeatedly with a baton. Many cops seem to think they have the right to physically punish offenders. They don't.
SickSadSorry 5 days ago
@SickSadSorry: I have to apologise ..it was another commentor that was making really nasty anti establishment anti police comments on another similar video.
Meantime let us agree that police need to be policed and it has always been that way anyhow.
Sooner or later there is a police shake down and many of the bad apples are eliminated
and the incidents are less frequent.
Meantime the criminals are still out of hand and for some reason I dont really feel sorry for the criminal guy.
happyharv1 5 days ago
@happyharv1 I agree that the police do need to be policed.
As far as the guy getting hit in the video, we have no idea if he is actually a criminal. Innocent until proven guilty. The cops actions in this video make it hard for me to take anything he says about this incident as truth.
SickSadSorry 4 days ago
@SickSadSorry: I agree..but actually policing it is not easy.
Meantime you see by way of other peoples comments there are plenty of people that are not bothered at all knowing that criminals are treated like they are and many feel the criminals get what they deserve.
Of course if you are on the recieving end your going to be re-thinking but still many people feel that criminals should be made to feel at least a little discomfort ..but not as much seen in the video and suffer for their crimes.
happyharv1 4 days ago
@happyharv1 People who agree with this cops actions are simply showing favoritism to one criminal over another. They claim to detest criminals, yet they're supporting criminal behavior. I support any cop that acts in a lawful manner, but once a line is crossed, they too become criminals. Policing may not be easy, but that goes for many other jobs. Even if a job is hard, obeying the laws which pertain to that job should be fairly simple for a person with integrity.
SickSadSorry 4 days ago
@SickSadSorry: Yep..you are correct and that is the "theory".
In practice people screw up all too often and lose control of their emotions and vent their anger.
Many people would say to you: "Anytime you want to saddle up and join the police force and lead they way your welcome to do so."
Meantime we are all observers and or critics but still we are all reliant on the police to be benevolent and helpfull rather than evil and detrimental.
happyharv1 2 days ago

That and how to make sure the police do not make it common practice.

stoneeh 1 week ago
@stoneeh 98% of those whom you speak of steal and rob because they are drug addicts, not because they can't support their family and even if that was the case they know right from wrong. Who's fault is it that they can't get a good job? No one but their own. There are plenty of options out there for people who aren't lazy. Go to a truck driving school where it is almost no cost up front, go to technical schools which are cheap, Mow lawns, ect ect. There is no excuse to steal from anyone.
BornBW 6 days ago
@BornBW or if you need money you can always join the police or the army, because the government will never stop ruining their country in the long term by running deficits and printing money to keep themselves in power for the short term by hiring more personel that will keep them in power. luckily though not everyone choses that route, so the real unemployment numbers (including long term discouraged workers which are not reported in the government numbers) in the US is around 20%
stoneeh 6 days ago
@BornBW you not only do nothing, worse, at their command you have to protect them from outraged citizens that protest against the injustice they cause. the main function of the police and military is to protect the rich and powerful and make everyone a "criminal" who doesnt play by their (THEIR, not our) rules, while they themselves, the real professional criminals that they are, continue to lie and steal and cause suffering on a scale you probably cant begin to comprehend

@BornBW I've been reading all of your comments and you are truly pathetic. Everybody pat this douche on the back and thank him for saving our lives on a daily basis. He is begging for respect like a starving person would beg for a snack. Please give it to him. One of the parking tickets he writes today just might save your life.

@SickSadSorry DPS Don't write parking tickets. What's sad is you for thinking the world owes you something. Have a great day kid.

@SickSadSorry As long as you make money, you are making someone else money. Unless you don't pay taxes I guess.
