I can see your point, though. We were trying to mimic the way the songs pacing and atmosphere. We paid little attention to the actual meaning of the lyrics. I'd also never done a one take video, so this was more of an experiment.
Definitely one of my more polarizing videos. People either love it or hate it. Thanks for the comment!
i'd hate to troll like this, but i feel as if you made a deep song shallow by the facial expressions, dancing, and the amateur videography... the song is about his many attempts at suicide and lyrical symbolism for that, but instead i see a girl dancing promiscuously and taking yoni's lyrics literally.
