  • Subbed. Excellent video. Check out the Kent & North Wales Light Railway, a 16mm indoor live steam layout and an attempt at modelling narrow gauge in a larger scale ...

  • Having seen the Welsh narrow gauge, I was wondering where I could get models of stone bridges and viaducts in 009, or what we Americans call HOn30? I want my own layout to have them and they are hard to find here in the States.

  • hey great layout. im trying to put a narrow gauge line into my 00 gauge layout (currently in progress) have you got any tips on how i should do this?

  • What song is this?

  • What chassis did you use in thos loco's and are they still available??

  • fab layout check out my 009 layout ABERDARON. I guess that the 0-4-0 chassis are N-drive??

  • @EWS37109 not aberdaron anymore but Tullbrook

  • what scale is it?

  • where would i get the chassis for a dundas park Sir Haydn loco ?

  • I have a N Drive chassis under mine, ask for the longwheelbase chassis, expensive but the quality of the running is superb, its your best option

  • Really nice layout, but would like to have seen it working.

  • looks good and well detailed. I prefer bigger scales such as 16mm scale though!

  • Yea, but they're expensive and take lots of space, this is good for someone stuck in a flat.. or tight on money.

  • i have the tram from Glyn Valley and two coaches im going to build a second layout when ive nearly done my first :D i love 009!

  • awesome :D

  • The green tank Engine looks like Smudger from The Season 4 episode Grandpuff.

  • parkside dundas. they come in kit form of the body only, you need to buy the chassis seperate.

  • thanks.

  • where can i get models like yours or were they custom made?

  • yes thomas trains are based on real engines, the narrow gauge - Skarloey, Sir Handel etc ar based on the Talyllyn railway in tywyn, which my engines are modelled. anyway the new layouts been about 50% built with TONS of new rolling stock so ill have a vid up soon

  • Here are the counterparts

    Skarloey - Talyllyn

    Rheneas - Dolgoch

    Sir Handel - Sir Haydn

    Peter Sam - Edward Thomas

    Rusty - Midlander

    Duncan - Douglas

    and from the Ffestiniog:

    Duke - Prince.

For those of you who don't know.

  • The music seems somewhat incongruous!

  • its AFI in siduise, gotta love it :P

  • my balls just tingled has this been sold already?

  • sadly yes i has, went on ebay about two months ago!

  • i love your engines and the railway why did you sell it.

  • cheers, well im building a larger layout, ive still got the talyllyn stock, but also L and B, and freelance aswell

  • THIS LAYOUT IS BEING SOLD, ON EBAY, ENDS SUNDAY 2nd FEB!!!

  • wh y usell 009 is amazin

  • cool its like peter sam and rheneas and sir hanel of skarloey

  • but rheneas is red so the color is wrong

  • ITS DOLGOCH SO SHUT THE FUCK UP...

... waiting for peace and quiet now :)

  • n00b :D

  • it IS

  • You are an utter n00b Skark, get a brain or grow up, do you even know that the thomas characters are based on something called REAL TRAINS?
