if all you have is a 2wd and stock tires you can make it all the way down town with no troubles just pick your trail.. the bikes are not to blame for the holes that are neck deep look at the truck video's. as for getting shut down well the burning cars and dead bodies will sure enuf do it.
the pike is awesome.. and you know meanfiveohh its pretty simple if you can hang with the big dogs go home or make a new trail.. there are tons of ways around the hole all you have to do is look for them. i take my fam there and the wife rides a stock bike and has no troubles getting around. like i said find a way around them. i do enjoy a good mudhole every now and then but you know stuff gets broke doing that its just a risk we take riding there..

Those trails have gotten worse, but man there are hundreds of people that ride down there weekly especially the Southern Mudslinger atv club. The pike has always been known as a place to mud ride. Thats what is has always been. We didn't make the holes, we just ride in them like everyone else.
Also, the rutted up service road is made mostly by 4x4 trucks. I don't like that atv's with 32" tires rut it up either, but I'm not going to get mad about it. I ride in what I can and avoid the rest. Its public property that many, many people enjoy. Like my memphis police friends say... if it shuts down, its not going to be because of atv or 4x4 truck riding. It will more likely be because some developor wants to put a silly walking trail in...like anyone wants to walk around that part of town.
As far as respecting it goes. I do respect it. I do not throw my trash on the ground and I don't drink and ride my atv. I have friends that have done trail cleanup days and have drug old abandoned vehicles out for the police. That seems like respect to me. I'm sorry my video has upset you. Why dont you get on the southern mudslingers forum and tell them how you feel. I'm being friendly because that all I know how to be. They will rip you a new one.
