yea its definitly vented, I even have a comp. fan mounted below the tv and one in the top of the cabinet, it works really well circulating the air, all the drawers are hard maple dovetailed with Tandem Blumotion drawer slides which are the cadillacs of drawer slides.Thanks for the comment

the tv was SUPPOSED to barely fit, hence custom built not some pre-fabricated crap!!!!!!!!
