Does anyone know how to take out the plug? Any videos out there please let me know asap. I'm going on a snow goose hunt and need to know how I can take out the plug.
@696969sideways The Xtreme was built to withstand extreme conditions - it has a camo or black synth finish, cycles 3.5" shells. The Xcel is 3" and has a wood stock. The rib of the Xcel is wider. You can use the Xtreme on the clay field AND for wingshooting, if you don't mind the camo finish.
is this blink system in every beretta shotgun or does every beretta gun have a version of this system? More specifically what system does the beretta Xtrema 2 and the beretta X400 sporting version? Lastly does the X400 Sporting shotgun have tube extensions?
Seems very complex for a waterfowl gun!! KISS. Keep it simple. The fewer things involved the fewer the failures. I still shoot an original Benelli SBE and think it's the bees knees. Simple rugged and easy to clean. Forget the Comfortech and "Cubed" plungers, just give me a gun that works all the time and is easy to break down for cleaning!!
Will the original kick off be removable to get the same LOP as the xtrema? I am short and need a super short lop esp when bundled up with winter clothes.
Are you kidding me, Brian Lasley was the product manager for Remington shotguns and was instrumental in the new Remington Versa Max shotgun. Why is he working for Beretta now, but more importantly why is he being used as an actor in Beretta videos while consumers still associate him with the Remington Versa Max?
You can see videos of Brian Lasley touting the Remington Versa Max at the RemintonArmsComapany channel.

I want to see this gun in action. Does anyone have any videos?
LTYFLY 1 week ago
It's either this gun or the Benelli SBE II.
LTYFLY 1 week ago
This one or the super Vinci?
TheTroutman85 4 weeks ago
@TheTroutman85 I've heard the recoil on the super vinci is pretty much the same as the nova.

@696969sideways For trap and skeet you might want to go to the XCEL version of the A400

fishblade2 4 months ago
@fishblade2 All of the New A400 (platform) guns have a version of the "Blink" gas system. The Xtrema 2 did not have the Blink system.
The A400 Xcel Sporting comes with 3-extended Optima Bore HP choke tubes.

Will there be magazine extensions available soon?
flexx1987 4 months ago
@flexx1987 We do not offer a mag extension.

I've seen you promoting this AND the Versa Max... Which do you prefer now?

"turn it 60 degrees, a little more than a quarter-turn" too bad a quarter-turn is 90 degrees

Recently got a Beretta owned Benelli Super Vinci.
Would not mind getting an A400 Xtreme to go with it and have the current best recoil and gas operated semi-auto shotguns made.

Would not surprise me a bit to learn Beretta now owns Remington.

Hello will it be available in europe?? if yes when?? tanks

@rvargues As the US headquarters of Beretta, the best advice from us is to contact Beretta worldwide HQ. You may visit them at Beretta.com

I was just about to buy the Xtrema2, NOW THIS! What to do?
The Xtrema2 has proven itself. Did the A400? Is it a better gun?

Both eyes open, Lasley. You won't break more than 77 that way.

I shoot very well without both eyes open.

When will it be available for purchase and how much is it?
gnlz32 7 months ago
@gnlz32 it will be available in early September at your local store. MSRP is $1,600 for the black synth and $1,700 for the camo version.
BerettaCommunity 7 months ago
Great gun, but a mediocre demo. By the way a quarter turn is 90 degrees not 60 degrees.
I almost bought an A400 a year ago. Now I'm glad I waited. This is exactly what I really want.

who cares if someone worked for a competitor...happens all the time
Looks like a great gun.
