@ArTzxDc Scrub boards are great beginners boards. It'll be perfect for getting into mountainboarding and learning the basics, and then if you really get into it you can upgrade your board later.

When with snowboard bindings your feet are secure but still have room to move and you can still do all the tricks you want with standard velcro bindings. Your feet are secure and wont go anywhere as long as you have them properly adjusted.

Before you slam the mountainboarding, have you even tried it ? I snowboard, mountainboard and mountain bike. In the UK it's either the bike or the board as we have no snow. i have tried mountain boarding. keep in mind in the northern US we generally have 4-6 months of snow. so snowboarding and skiing are more prevalent here. i've also tried freebording which if you've ever seen or tried is all powersliding on concrete. and if you actually watch the video they all go in a stright line on a dirt track. there is no powerslide. i never said this was easy, all i said was i'm offended it's compared to snowboarding. and i backed it with fact. give up fanboys.
