If you watch any of the follow-up fights between these two, Leroux literally tries to dig a hole in the ice trying to burrow himself into the rink in desperation to escape Twist's ferocious assault. Tony Twist wasn't the most skilled player but he was likely the most feared fighter of all-time in the NHL (not the best but most feared). Also, I know a girl who knew him back when he was with the Nordiques, apparently he's a very nice guy.

You better watch more hockey. He just got the shit beat out of him here. 10-12 stiches he'll be good as new. Kocur beat his ass, Probert beat his ass(broke Tony's nose again). You need to watch more games than just the blues. Twist playes for other teams too. He was one of those guys that sat on the bench till the end of the game came in started a fight with a first liner and might have won. How many goals did he score. Probert has more goals, stanley cups, PIMs fights etc.

Was at this game. One of the last times Gretzky and Lemieux were on the same ice. Mario had a son born that day and scored five goals. Ron Francis got assist #400, I believe. Pens won 8-4.

Sorry guys, the tape had nothing to do with Twist getting bloodied. You can clearly see the tape is on the wrist and back of the hand, nowhere near the knuckles. If Leroux would have hit him with the tape he would have broken his carpal bones.Twist should've used tape in the 'rematch' because the only thing he ever hit were Leroux's shoulder pads.

Yeah, theres some debate over that. I hear he could do like 450 on a smith machine (the maching you see at the gym where the bar is on runners that slide up and down). If her were to bench using regualr free weights, I'm guessing his max would be somewhere in the high, high 300's. Probably around 380 or 390 lbs. I'm just going by the information that I know about him.

Leroux was very lucky there. He landed a good but lucky punch and then the fucking refs ruined it. Twist didn't fall to the ground, and Twist wanted to carry on thats why he was so pissed. Looks like Leroux won when he really didn't have much of a chance.

Fluke win by Leroux. If you watch any of the follow-up fights between these two, Leroux literally tries to dig a hole in the ice trying to burrow himself into the rink in desperation to escape Twist's ferocious assault. Leroux knew he was a marked man after this and from then on, he wanted NOTHING to do with Twist when he saw the Blues on the schedule. However, I love Leroux's awkward stance when he's squaring up ready to fight.

Twist is a heavy weight. But, it was nice seeing Leroux kick that bully's ass who put men in the hospital. Oh, and a hockey fight has no specific rules, and no one shows 'class' in a fight. Its a fight, everyone fights dirty. Oh and the so called fucking rematches between the two are bogus. Oh and Leroux turtling to the ice is a defensive move which all hockey fighters need to be a good fighter and plus, Twist was making an ass of himself punching Leroux in the back of the helmet!
