Even though both bands have songs that fit blues formats, I wouldn't consider them blues bands either, but they're definitely influenced by blues aesthetics... I think. Folk is really just the blues 2.0

@PatagonianRailways I'm sorry, but their lead singers voices sound exactly the same lol I don't think too many people would argue. Listen to the versus of Mykonos and then listen to the verses in I Will Sing You Love Songs. You'll hear it. It's a striking similarity. they both DO use a lot of reverb which might account for somethin. One bands more rock and roll while the others more folk... but the whole use of harmonies, the almost sad bluesy vibe, the BEARDS? They're like the same band :-)
