  • This Steve guy sha, what a COW!!!

  • Criminal and disgrace to Africa and humanity that this ape called Obsanjo is. Obasanjo needs to be hanged. This man and his fellow yoruba criminals have been squandering oil subsidy money. Oil derived from the South-east and South-South. Obasanjo is a crude thief and his yoruba people, as is typical will mouth off in defense of the indefensible. The facts however, cannot be erased. Nigeria has been run by criminals and tribalists for half a century and it has its high toll on millions of lives.

  • @blengike This is noting to do with yoruba, you are a big fool. for your information, yorubas voted for olu falae while other regions voted for obasanjo. you are one of the reason why nigeria has no peace cos intolerance to other tribes. most of nigeria leaders irrespective of thier tribe has mostly been corrupt and even goodluck who is from south south claiming billions of naira for his cutleries alone and punishing poor nigerians

  • at least he sounds smarter than Goodluck

  • All u stupid people's commenting nonsense, if not for OBJ your father would ve be in slavery,

  • Baba don't mind them, oyinbo people alway beleive they play with our brain, I like ur respond,

  • This criminal Obasanjo using his personalised killing security outfit murdered unarmed peaceful pMassob members and innocent Odi people. Under Obasanjo more than 14,000 people died from Ethnic and religious clashes with virtually no arrests or prosecutions. he looked the other way to avoid Sharia jihadists in the north and faced the Igbo and other minorities, distabilzing their states and murdering them at any slightest excuse. Obasanjo conducted the world's worst election in 2007 by observers.

  • Obasanjo is nothing short of a devil incarnate whose condemnation is already with him. For all the innocent blood he has spilled and the suffering an sorrow he brought many. This man should have been shot a long time ago. The yoruba defense of this ape is nothing but displaying of their putative tribalism imparted on them by their father Awolowo.

  • fuck journalist....

  • the deep natures of corruptions in nigeria and africa as a whole, cannot single handedly be eradicated by any particular government alone, but the joint collaboration of every good hearted fellow africans in general.

  • foolish old man, this is just the beginning, thank you steve.

  • Stephen I beg ...Can you interview Biya from Cameroon too just like this? please get em...one by one

  • what is happing to you guyz my brother open your eyes this man is a bad guy

  • Comment removed

  • Very Intelligent man. The Best President ever......

  • BABA OSE OOOO!!!! hahah>>>OBJ

  • It is not cool to lose your temper in interviews OBJ!

  • son of a "WHORE"

  • OLEEEEEEEEE, YOUR OPPRESSING AND ROBBING THE PEOPLE

  • Obasanjo with all due respect there is no perfect truth in what you're saying and you know it you chose your cabinet and manipulated all to do your bidding!

  • OBJ.....U be thief, Ole, Jaguda! Nah God go demolish all of una up to coming generation. Amin.

  • This man has corruption in his DNA.

  • THERE HAVE BEEN LAPPES AND WHAT DID YOU DO?

  • OBJ as my mother will always say,"the mouth of a liar never bleeds".

  • it feels like i have been watching some serious action movie!!! to sit in front of a journalist as a past leader of a very corrupt country dont you think such question will arise! not even taking into consideration the enormous wealth he has acquired while in power. loool i cant stop laughing!!! he would have shit in his pant if this was a real court!!! am sure this was the most terrifying moments in his life!!! he should wait for real judgement he will have a heart attack! ranting dog!

  • @clistus07 he would have shot stephen there and then if he could. He's not used to people putting him under the spotlight. African leaders are power intoxicated and do not answer to anyone. I'm surprised he did not storm out of the place in anger lol.

  • lol

  • though corrupt but i like the boldness and confidence not to be intimidated with steve questions. OBJ don't compare western leaders with you because Westerners will simply resign to be a leader if it's clear their people no more need their services, but looking for 3rd term was your case even when every body even your daughter asked you not to raise the idea.

  • The man may be lying through his teeth but he lied with poised and conviction unlike Mr. Badluck.

  • he is angry that he is been asked point blank questions! who is he?un-educated fool.

  • Obasanjo should also tell them that as a civil servant,he was able to accumulate such wealth to turn operation feed the nation into obasanjo farm, owning a diamond mining company in south Africa and all sort. foolish gorilla

  • Obasanjo should be told and educated of the fact that if any European leader is found at the level of corruption he and his counterpart were fond! that leader will rout in prison.

  • he is a girl of 42 year old.

  • the best of his ability and not take offence. Shekina as we say!

  • as if to say that Stephen had no right to question him. Stephen had every RIGHT to press him on these issues and OBJ had the right to answer them truthfully as he did or did not do without any sort of ill feelings as nothing said by Stephen was an insult(this is another Nigerian trait)..what is obviously clear is that OBJ got offended by the word "allegation" which is laughable because an allegation is not a guilty verdict. It is an allegation and all OBJ had to do, was answer the questions to

  • It is interesting to see fellow Nigerians criticizing the journalist for asking point blank questions. Without going into the facts of the matter in question, the name of the program is HARDTALK! The format of the program allows for this sort of questioning. In regards to comment on a western president being treated differently, this is another psuedo prejudice that some Nigerians @uruwa64 claim is specific to us. OBJ's aggressive defence was disgusting to watch as writhed with discomfort.

  • This journalist is Prejudice. If this was a white leader from a developed world, he will not be questioned so ridiculously. If the former president daughter is being investigated on allegations(not proven) what is Obansanjo suppose to do about it. Ronald Reagan had one of the worst corruption cases in U.S. the Iran\contra arm deal involving cabinet secretaries, did they subject Ronald Reagan to this type of interrogation? They always look down on black people whether former president or not.

  • lets stop clinging to racism and use it as an excuse. Name one white democratic president in the world who is as corrupt as obasanjo. Ronald Reagan might be very corrupt i agree, but his countrymen are not living in abject poverty. I'm pretty sure if Obasanjo had elevated the standard of living in nigeria a little bit, nigerians would still be singing songs of praises in his name. The level of corruption in his era was the worst any regime had encountered.

  • Comment removed

  • @icemannn96 Yeah, its simply power and corruption from some African, European and Chinese elite that are sucking the lifes blood out of Africa, some may have racist motives, you really have noooooo idea how deep the issues are.. do a little searching and learn a little African history to present day; you'll be shocked. Might be an idea to watch this documentary to get a little taster of the complexities in Nigeria today (search for ''Nigeria war against Biafra 1967-1970 (part 1)' on youtube.

  • Comment removed

  • @icemannn96 You also need to be very brave to go against the grain. Look at what happened to Ken Saro-Wiwa.

  • i have never saw baba go mad like this b4 lol.

  • Obj Baba, I believe u die! Let nobody intimidate you at all!

  • This is not s joke but a serous issue, all the leaders even you OBJ you such a big fool. where do you get money to do that big farm out there in OTA? you salary right? You can not even create jobs in nigeria for 8 yrs in office but you have a big farm, fat bank account, house in USA. Steve you did a good job. Your daughter is a big thief. You would have been the next Gadafhi to be killed in Nigeria. what happen to the countries that dont have oil and doing more good?

  • Stephen,

Thank you for stating the hard facts without allowing the raging bull to intimidate you.Even if Nigeria produces 1 million barrels of oil,90% of the money is still stolen and he knows it.Obasanjo himself could not account for $16 billion dollars he spent without results in the power sector. His chickens lay $250 million dollars worth of eggs annually! That is why he is so fabulously rich he says! He imagines everyone in the world aside himself is a retarded fool that believe anything.

  • @inanna2007 You must also understand that Stephen Sackur, perhaps intentionally or ignorantly, seemed to have conveniently omitted the fact that oil companies pay less than the value for Nigerian oil i.e they pay $1 for every $10,000 of oil mined. But one thing I cannot understand is this: why each succesive Nigerian presidents perpetually turn a blind eye to Homeland Security (Armed Robbers and Terrorists), Healthcare (Federal Hospitals) and Education?

  • @inanna2007 get your facts right.16 billion Dollars was budgeted for the contract and as at the time Yar Adua terminated the contract only 4 billion was disbursed. Note most of the contractors are from the south-south, the Turbines were bought but could not be delivered to their various sites. Yar Adua terminated the contract for reasons only known to him but GEJ reinstated them. please get your facts right.

  • Listen to Obasanjo. This man think he is invisible. He think that he is talking with a nigerian journalist that is why he was trying to talk him down and scare him...Now I didn't even know that Nigeria is all-of-a-sudden producing 1.5 million barrels instead of 2.5 million thats new to me.Obasanjo or whoever that is in charge of nigeria should know that Nigerians does not ask for money...all they want is good roads, uninterrupted power supply,security..and they will take care of the rest....

  • a real hard talk

  • U ARE A BIG FOOL OBASANJO..AND NIGERIAN WILL NEVER FORGIVE

    U

  • @woshomah kill your self.

  • Everybody in Nigeria is corrupt.

  • there is no good head with rotin body,Nigeria need help we are tired of all this old face our people are dying ,forget about our population what about other things?e g roads, schools, hospitals, and our security system, put those things in good condition we don't care if we Nigerians are poor but let us have good facility in the country,so many Nigerians does not even have any form of identification what a shame

  • Obasanjo:Steve if say you be Nigerian press man na whipping you go collect and i will close your station.

    Steve:i am not intimidated sir,

  • This is hilarious.......baba take am easy na, I just gbadun the press guy...him self no send baba's anger n agitations..lolzzzz

  • SO OBJ DID NOT IYABO SEX?

  • BABA IYABO YOU ARE NOT A GUD LEADER SO GO BACK TO OTA AND LET IYABO FACE EFCC , YOU CREATED THIS AND EFCC IS AT UR DOOR NOW.

  • "To delude the South West people, the elections of 1999, led to the emergence of Olusegun Obasanjo, against the preferred Yoruba candidate, Chief Olu Fasae. In fact, Obasanjo, a Yoruba but an agent of the Hausa-Fulani North, lost the elections in his ward to Falae. The elections were blatantly rigged and for eight years, the Hausa-Fulani rule the country again through its surrogate Yoruba."

EGBE IRAPADA OODUA, EIRO [ A Yoruba/Oodua Self Determination group], ModernGhana, Sat, 14 Nov 2009

  • obj is a crazy old man ... trying to s deny all his action

  • this fool represented us for 8years, shameful! We all know he is the number one corrupt official yet he can say with audacity he is a saint. It is obvious this man is totally deluded.

  • this old man is a Big fool can you imagine what question asked and hera his reaction . can you imagine how personal he was taking things, i am this iam that, ole olodo. can you imagine alledgeing the reporter. this man has no maners and is really selfish and could not even controll his temperament even on world rated television programm.see who wants to be a leaders of yorubas. God forbid

  • this old man is a Big fool can you imagine what question asked and hera his reaction . can you imagine how personal he was taking things, i am this iam that, ole olodo

  • obj is a good leader the methods used to control countries can never be the same and i dont blame him for anything i really like the way he talked to this nuisance that doesnt really have nigerias best interest at heart, but just trying to contuously blame the rich and well- doing of the country as always being corrupt when it isnt true he should please tell me which country doesnt have corrupt people and if they do u do they use that as criteria to paint the whole country bad non-sense

  • Comment removed

  • hahaha obj no be fight

  • hahahhahahaah!! Is it fight? "I'm I responsible for the corruption is Nigeria?" Deflecting to Atiku... LOW low.. Such a disgrace of a president..

  • Obj I accept is not one of the best leaders Africa has produced but he's quite passionate about Nigeria and ready to defend her anywhere. Most of these people commenting hardly know what leadership entails and to be honest are idiots. They just criticise blindly- Read the comment from ''freisercalvin''. He couldn't even spell the name of his country properly and he's criticising Obj's English.

  • @chucoll2k3 you're right...i don't know what is the problem of most people..instead of listening to the conversation and getting to know the points...they'll start criticising the english..and they themselves can't put together a well contructed sentence... aga ooooooooooooo

  • what a fascinating interview..fascinating indeed. love or loathe him u have 2 give it up 2 obasanjo

  • may the world come and save nigerians from this fraudsters. innocent citizenz of this blessed country suffering abroad, dying in the countires they should be better than all because of this crimimnals who call themseves leadera like obasanjo.may GOD DELIVER NIAJA,MAY HE DELIVER NAGERIA BEFORE IT TOO LATE.I WISH GOODLUCK WILL BRING GOOD NAMW BACK TO NIGERIA BUT MAY IT A WISH.HE CANT EVEN SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH.YET HE AND HIS CRIMINAL DAUGHTER AND ALL THE ONES BEFORE HIM MADE US LAUGHING STOCK.SCAMERS

  • Am happy that this old man didnt intimidate u as he has been doing..

  • obj...... i dey feel u... i need some of that oil money too.

  • obyyy don vex

  • he he he this is just hilarious. He says he was not corrupt. He was in control of both bodies he set up to fight anti-corruption according to him, more like his watch dogs to get his opponents out of the way. From a Nigerian who was in the country for at least six of the eight years while he was in power, this dude is a crook and if you're believing half of what he says, you are deluded. During his term the N fell sharply against the $ and we all know what causes that. Mr 3rd Term. Go to hell.

  • Look why are some Nigerians disgracing themselves? what is this about respect? The man is clearly denying that there was no incident of corruption in his government for 8 YEARS? if you actually believe that then i am sorry to say that YOU need to get a grip. His government was very corrupt. This was the man talking about a third term. I mean This is not a disgrace to Nigeria. We deserve to know what he did during his government. And OBJ this is HARDTALK. it is normal for him to ask hardquestions

  • SUPERB JOB STEVE!!!! DON'T BE INTIMIDATED BY THIS CORRUPT FOOL!!!!! I AM NIGERIAN AND I KNOW HE IS CORRUPT!!!!

  • OBJ thumbs up! the questions being asked were all sentimental and the Steve

guy should learn to accord more respect!

  • What a hilarious interview from Steve, tumb up Steve 5***** for you :)

  • those selfish comments from blind folded Nigrians DUM FOOLS?!!!!

I'm a Nigerian, I live in United Kingdom, I see how ministers and members of House of Lords are being probed for common £10,000- while Nigerian criminal HEAD of STATES and other selfish followers are siphoning our millions if not billions of $s. those selfish elements writing about respecting OBJ should take OBJ respect and shove it up...

This 21 century we need better Hope someday the wiser Nigerians will revolt.

  • steve guy should shut it jor.....like he's gonna just talk to any other leader like that.. yea we have issues don't stretch it ....why did he bring family into it. smh

liked the way OBJ handled this thou :) "we are a potential rich country'

  • I must say that Obasanjo carried himself very well. These reporters should not just throw accusations around.

  • Apart from respect or other things been mentioned, I dont think this guy Steve can just open his mouth and talk to any of these European Leaders like that. How many European leaders has been charged for all these atrocities of war crimes? How many times have they been alleged with impunity like that. Am not saying Obasanjo is clean but I think Nigeria should be accorded respect that belongs to her, someone who cant even lead a family among these reporters should just talk nonsense abt Nigeria.

  • Steve was rather daft here.

  • I personally believe this man may really have been involved in some corrupt deals. But it is highly insulting to have the president sit here and be interrogated like a criminal. And i strongly support him when he says no western leader will be questioned this way. This guy is simply looking for faults where he doesnt even have enough proof. And why the hell is he trying to present Nigeria as a poverty stricken country?? He shouldnt try to paint a terrible picture of Nigeria or the leaders.

  • he is so silly, he is just contradicting himself, ole man.

  • If anyone is corrupt, in Nigeria and there is corruption he cant say that he is clean and most of Nigeria have a fish brain and very weak to speak the truth, thanks to that brother who slap OBJ I think all Naija guys should give a slap or a punch each on the face.....

The president is corrupt, the ministers are corrupt the police are not left out, and corruption will continue if no one STOP them....

please make una help me stop this bastards from failing us each time.

  • how can obj say steve's comment is absoulute nonsense obj ure RUDE and argumentative, oleee

  • Obasanjo is taking it personal..........Baba OFN, he did right and wrong so he shld'nt be blame completely.

  • this man shut the fuck up. you're blatantly lying!!

  • lmao....this man i hilarious..."check it, tesla will provide evidence wouldnt he"?...what does this mean?...hez saying....obviously i did it but can u prove it?....

    This man is just....*sigh*

  • OLD SOLDIER NEVER DIE... OBJ YOU ARE A COWARD, A THIEF, A LIAR AND A BUFFOON. YOUR SIN WILL FETCH YOU OUT SOMEDAY.

  • ride-on! its a high time we speakout!

  • OBJ HAS RUIN NIGERIA. CORRUPTION SHOULD BE ADDED TO OBASANJO'S NAME.

  • I bet OBJ later sent people after this interviewer

  • People should stop insulting former President Obasanjo, there are corruptions every government inthe world. If people in the adminstration were doing deals and he was not fully aware it, you should not condem him. Remember an alligation of corruption is not a proof.

  • I believe OBJ, This Interviewer has no respect.. And he cant ask all this questions to obama or cameroun, stupid man

  • @dahatijjani

    ooops!!!

excuse me where are you from?

do you live in Nigeria? maybe it seems because here in the UK or in the US there is nothing like "ejo sir or ejo ma" to ploiticians (well crooks like obj). I have watched a lot of TV programs like HARDTALK, BBC Questiontime, e.t.c. and hey the interviewers have no respect for any human beings what so ever: they go straight to the point. I still 2day call Nigeria a shameful nation bcoz of corruption in government. and withthose old farts.

  • @lionkiller900 to express your feelings, u do not need to call my beloved country shameful, and as u claim i have watched hundreds of BBC hardtalk show, they are very respectful to their leaders, U have been brainwashed by them too, I leave in d Uk too, but we have different views, I am proud Nigerian and will be no matter what.. least I forget I am not supporting OBJ i just reckon dat he be respected. dats all

  • @dahatijjani

i am not brainwashed. you said about "respect". that word does not simply mean that somebody will humbly or gently have a conversation with an elderly (i dont call that respect). to me if somebody do what's sensible, upright, and not mischievious then the word respect follows. unfortunately OBJ is a crook and i am not going 2 respect a crook (regardless his age or position). moreover OBJ has not shown many that he should be respected anyways. SO WTF are u on about "respect"?

  • those selfish comments from blind folded Nigrians DUM FOOLS?!!!!

I'm a Nigerian, I live in United Kingdom, I see how ministers and members of House of Lords are being probed for common £10,000- while Nigerian criminal HEAD of STATES and other selfish followers are siphoning our millions if not billions of $s. those selfish elements writing about respecting OBJ should take OBJ respect and shove it up...

This 21 century we need better Hope someday the wiser Nigerians will revolt.

  • @dahatijjani

let me correct you on something: BBC debate programmes dont compromise with words such as respect. they go straight to thge point. also i still have much huge love for my country too, but these group of elderly old farts in government who are looting the money of the innocent, and poor people who cant even make up to 10p a day are making me sick. thats why somebody like Ribadu, or Buhari should be the leader of that dying-edge country who is very resourceful.

  • respect and speak up dear God bless yah!

  • They should plan on killing this nigga and not bullshit interviews...

  • OBJ is my guyyyyyy!!LMAO! DONT GET RUDE!

  • this guy is a monkey. i am ashamed that this fool ruled my country, "TWICE!" this interview's bottom line remain's unattainable because OBJ's concept of leadership, responsibility, corruption, government and economic systems and just plain logic is broken. believe it or not he is not lieing, he truthfully believes his own crap, unfortunately they are many idiots like this lining up to the seats of government in nigeria so our years of suffering are far from over.

  • baba iyabo!

  • @kingbios, for you to call me stupid, i pray that God almighty will forgive you, my comment is a contructive one, i have nothing against you neither do i know you, so wot in the world is stupidity in this matter? you have your own opinion about OBJ and ATIKU likewise i have mine but i will never be judgmental against you by calling you stupid. God will forgive you in Jesus Name.

  • ITS TRULY A hardTALK show.

  • I could careless about wot other nationalities are saying about my ex-president OBJ, my concerned is about other stupid nigerians who talk trash about OBJ especially on youtube, these people are not sons and daughters of the soil, they already proved being bastards. these are the ones wanting IBB to rule, wanting ATIKU and others who have no emotions for the country. God have mercy pls.

  • @niranyemi I think you so stupid to say that. Are you in support of this crazy man call OBJ !!

  • @niranyemi I think you so stupid to say that. Are you in support of this crazy man call OBJ !! what is your grudge against Atiku. When you and I know nobody have a say under Obasanjo.

  • "Nigeria loses $10bn annually to treasury looting. Tim Daniel of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) said in Abuja yesterday. This means that Nigeria has lost about $490 billion to treasury looters in its 49 years of independence... • fuck u monkey for talking bullshit,u are a demond see u in hell

  • HOW WOULD YOU EXPECT AN EX_WAR FRONT COMBATANT RESPONSE TO ORDINARY MEDIA AMOURS WHEN HE KNOWS THE PERFECT WAYS TO DEFENDS HIMSELF AT THE WAR FRONT

  • has steve heard of ICPC and EFCC?

how can he say there were no convictions? he just enjoys intimidating people

  • haha u've got to hand it to OBJ..he wasn't taking any rubbish from Steve

  • I LOVE YOU OBASANJO FOR DISGRACING AND MAINTAINING A BOLD STAND AGAINST INTIMIDATION FROM STEVE.

He Steve cannot take undue advantage on Western leaders by intimidating them on a live telecast.

Baba for your boldness and courage home and abroad distinguished you among African Leader.

The west should first take away the dirty dust in their eyes before taking it from another.

  • this man is a total disgrace to all nigerian´s, not only that most stupid nigerians still defend him.

  • this man is a total disgrace to all nigerian´s, not only that most stupid nigerians still defend him.

  • For starters, Obasanjo spent $13billion to improve the Nigerian power sector; he only succeeded in renaming the parastatal from NEPA to PHCN and their service got worse. He bought Transcorp while he was president and now owns many companies such as Hilton hotel; his farm produce increased exponentially while he was president. OBJ was given a clean slate in 1999, if he led our democracy as anti-corrupt Nigeria would have been a better place, but he continued in the path of corruption.

  • I must say, i was quite impressedx with the way Obasanjo composed himself and answered back in this interview. he spoke with conviction, fair understanding of the situation at hand and confidence. I sort of shrudder when I hear people bash and insult a former president, it just disturbs my soul, the guy who went up to physically assault ObJ needs to be charged with treason. but we do have a long way to go as nigerians, we have the resources to suceed, we just need better management.

  • we all know that Obj is corrupt but wonder why we gave non African broadcast chance to air african leaders corruption whereas we never call any of their leaders to African Tv for interview. we're all fools!

  • This guy is hilarious!!!

  • Obasanjo is either a buffoon or a lunatic. He attrracts negativism as a rotten meat attracts flies. Nigeria is a criminal nation, thanks the the rulers, and hence going nowhere

  • See as obasanjo mouth be like shit....i reject it

I sure say im mouth go smell pass suckaway wey dey for ajegunle ghetto...

what a failure of a president!!!!

seeing him being interviewed by foreign correspondents just agitates me,

because his unprofessionalism will definetely pop up!!

  • Fact: Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba oligarchs ruled and mismanaged Nigeria for over 40 years stealing over $400 billion dollars from Biafran and Mid-Western nationalities. They subverted justice and promoted criminality of sorts from the top level in government down to the bottom level. They made corruption the way of life in Nigeria.

  • "If I have that much influence, by now we should be having a national conference. We wasted those years because Obasanjo refused to the necessity of a (sovereign) National Conference. Obasanjo is my town's man but he is an idiot." Nobel Laureate in literature Wole Soyinka at Christopher Okigbo International Conference, Harvard University, Boston, USA. September 22, 2007.

  • Pray for your President don't condemn ....if such power has not been vested in you to do so......even you commenters are corrupt in your private lives...that includes me.....so judge yourself before you raise insults over the person that was chosen as president by more than 3/4 s of Nigerians

  • HE MIGTH BE CLEAN BUT THE OTHER LEADERS MIGTH BE THE PROPLEM,

AS A PRESIDENT OF A NATION, THIS WHITE MAN DO NOT HAVE THE RIGTH TO ASKED, OR TALK TO HIM IN THAT MANNER.

HE TALKS TO HIM ANY HOW, WHICH MEANS HE LOOKS DOWN ON HIM.

HE CAN NOT ASK BUSH QUESTION IN THAT MANNER.

  • steve is a credible journalist he has done his research and knows what he is saying obsanjo is personally not corruptbut the people around him were for sure

  • @mickyoo1 can you say for sure that he is not corrupt. he comes across as a self deluded village chieftain unprepared to be held accountable for his stewardship.

  • @jide1000 granted but wat nigerian president have you ever seen that would ever hold themselve responsible for any thing since independence

  • @jide1000 granted but wat nigerian president have you ever seen that would ever hold themselve responsible for any thing since independence , he wouldnt would he ijebu man

  • @jide1000 of course i can say obsanjo was not corrupt, his ministers were corrupt i know dat for a fact which he comfirmed, but the only problem in his political career was he never takes for responsiblity for his premiership at all even when corrution takes place he was well know to turn a blind eye if he could or just as they put it leave the matters to the courts who are corrupt with igbo judges and an ijebu man is just real

  • nice

  • obasanjo is by far one the best leaders in nigeria. he is just an ignoramus.

  • My God....really???

  • "...even as Nigeria's oil revenues have soared: in the course of Obasanjo's eight-year tenure, Nigeria earned $223 billion, two and a half times the amount earned over the previous eight years. But thanks to kleptocracy and rampant graft, much of the money has not gone where it should have... Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) estimates that the country has wasted $400 billion since 1960.." --- Jean Herskovits, former CIA Officer on African Affairs in 'Foreign Policy' August 2007.

  • this man is nothing but an evil...

  • It was under Obasanjo that Anambra was sacked. The state organs and institutions were torched and burnt and the whole place handed over to thugs for over two days with police doing absolutely nothing; innumerable anti-democratic even sordid acts. He consecrated thugs. He danced with thugs. He praised known thugs..." --- Wole Soyinka. Daily Sun Newspapers. Saturday January 3, 2009.

  • damn this guy is among the only presidents who came and went after his term without making a fuss!in africa! he is surely not perfect but he is better than most. why are my nigeria brothers hating him so much?

  • @asrafoo Under Obasanjo about 2,000 unarmed, non-violent MASSOB Members, 2,000 Ijaws massacred by his security forces. More than 10,000 died in religious riots along with these political murders, most without culprits - Bola Ige, Harry Marshal, Chuba Okadigbo, Aminosari Dikibo, Odunayo Olagbaju, Ahmed Pategi, Victor Nwankwo, Barnabas Igwe and Wife, John Nuhu, Dele Arojo, Ogbonnaya Uche. Theordore Egwuatu. Mai Haice, Anthony Nwudor, John Banigo, Dan Nagongola, Andrew Agom, Uche Ogbe, Ikoku etc

  • @asrafoo thank you oh, thank you. me i like him jo.

  • this man obj is just a big fool.

  • He was the one who was sleeping with is sons wife , because she want contract from him. His he a good man . How can he fuck is sons wife. Even if the woman want it? Too bad

  • He is the most foolish president I have seen. He is an idiot

  • Why is the media trying to divert our attention with petty constructs that has no major concerns to what's affecting the world, this man has done more than most presidents, I don't want to see OBJ in that seat, in my eyes he is thumbs up.
