Why couldn't the Jews have one state, one place to live in which to govern themselves as they wished, to the 22 odd Arab ones? And where were the refugees of Hitler's madness supposed to go? What about the 300,000 Jews of Arab descent? Were they supposed to be able to go back to their countries of origin and expect to live without fear?
Why did the Jews receive 56% of the territory of Palestine in the original plan (which they eventually received much more because of the war) when they made up only 1/3ed of the population?
