This movie SHOULD turn out good... One thing I'm worried about that should happen, is the fact that the movie is set in the x-men franchise universe. @GhostReconGuy in playing Ultimate Alliance, the character Deadpool is such a stand up comedy guy and given his ability (powers from John Wrath the teleporter, laser beam eye from Cyclop, Heal from Wolverine and his own swordsmenship) he could be one of the most interesting comic book character. i dont see why not Marvel wants to take a shot and transform that witty, big mouth but skilled mercenary into a movie.

@ceciliamichelan He did play Deadpool. He was Wade in the beginning, but when he played Weapon XI/ Deadpool in the end fighting Wolverine, some parts were him and other parts weren't. He did do some of the stunts at the end, but a stunt person did more of the extreme stunts. They used Ryan's face as Weapon XI/ Deadpool for close ups and shots of the face, but not all of those stunts were him. Some of the simple stunts were him, but a stunt person did some of the more dangerous stunts.

Ryan as Wade was my favorite character in the entire movie. I was sad he had a minor role. I really hope he gets his own movie as Deadpool. He fit it perfectly!

Anyone who says X-Men Origins: Wolverine fucked up Deadpool obviously doesn't know how Deadpool even came to be. This is BEFORE he goes under Weapon X experimentation. BEFORE he gets Cancer. BEFORE his healing agent (Wolverine's Blood) kicks in. and BEFORE he goes insane. They showed who Wade W. Wilson was before he Became Deadpool/Wade T. Wilson. They did a fantastic job.

Everyone saying that they ruined deadpool needs to shut the fuck up. The reason he looks like this is because he isnt deadpool yet, this is wolverines story not his. Deadpool was experimented on before he got cancer and got his mask, thats why he looks the way he does. Everything will be resolved when Deadpool origins comes out

I hope Ryan Reynolds will revive Deadpool in the 2014 movie, I'd hate to miss out on such an awesome character and I think Ryan Reynolds is still perfect as Deadpool (it's not his fault they molested the character in Origins).

I hate this character. He takes the "violence is cool" thing way, waaay too far. We need much less of that in this world. I mean, his whole baby-killing theme? His hatred for old people? Disgusting. Marvel should be more responsible. I hope they kill him off. Better yet, put him on trial and throw him in prison and leave him there until people forget him. Best of all, they could turn him into a Hare Krishna and have him pass out flowers. Maybe a boring ending would keep him down. Sick.

In order to have a great character you need flaws, Deadpool has a lot of them but thats what makes him so likable, its those mistakes and quirks that make you smile. There is no such thing as a perfect world thus there can be no perfect characters. Sorry he's not to your standards and you truly are missing out on a wonderful character.

He didn't REALLY play Deadpool on Wolverine did he? He was Wade in the beginning and then it was mostly a stuntman and cgi wasn't it? I don't know, I' just guessing. Really like him though, I think he's really talented and not just as a comedy actor. Plus he is HOOOOT!

@ceciliamichelan He did play Deadpool. He was Wade in the beginning, but when he played Weapon XI/ Deadpool in the end fighting Wolverine, some parts were him and other parts weren't. He did do some of the stunts at the end, but a stunt person did more of the extreme stunts. They used Ryan's face as Weapon XI/ Deadpool for close ups and shots of the face, but not all of those stunts were him. Some of the simple stunts were him, but a stunt person did some of the more dangerous stunts.
