some people who talk trash about this girl, they are the greatest losers on this planet, this girl live life as she knows best, we all have some faults; supposedly we should take the right road, but we did not..i did not, but i survive and so she did, and she is now a very successful contributing factor of some causes...so let's all live life well.

We talk now about the fact that she should have known the obvios things to do. your kind of replies are too easy to say, and so is the "how many medals have you won" type of comment. The point is they were either helped by corrupt voting and support, or they chose bad decision in life when it was so easy not to! if they did not create bad stories, then there will be no comments about it from the people. Too bad!

It shows how success can unlock a lot of unfinished business. Unfortunately for Oksana, her appeal was based on her incredible charisma and the "swan" or "Cinderella" image. What we see here is a less appealing image and her demons.

@mpjrdldn That is not true. There is a lot of things her fans love about her, she is the most entertaining and artistically talented ice skater I have ever seen. This was taken at a very difficult time in her life. She grew 4 inches in one year and gained quite a few pounds. And so she had a drinking problem, she was also at a period in her life where she had no family, was in a new country and went from being an orphan to a star. That doesn't change her accomplishments.

Let me guess, you are one of the people who felt that Kerrigan should of won the 94 Olympics and 16 years later just can't get over it. So Oksana drank and wrecked a car, she was 21, not that I condone drinking and driving, but there are a ton of dui arrests for 21 year olds.

I remember this! I recorded the 1999 Ice Wars when I was a kid. I wish I still had that tape. Kristi skated to From This Moment On by Shania Twain. I remember Kurt Browning and Brian Boitano were great. I also remember the chick dressed as Marilyn Monroe (forgot her name). That was my fave Ice Wars ever. Do you know where I can find any of the other performances from that night?
