  • Deffintly looks Like an 80's unrestored Survivor by the Door Gaps Ect.... Clean car wish i could pull it out of the Computer.

  • challenger ftw!!! im 18 and just bought a new 2009 challenger r/t hemi its so much fun to drive, i cant tell you how many ppl just practically break their necks watching as i pass by. driving the 6 speed manual is so much fun too

  • I can tell by the other cars this is old video. That is one sweet ride and very valuable today. The vid is actually very good and a time capsule. I hope you still have yours cause i (kick myself in the ass!) sold mine cheap.

  • The owner sold the car about a year after the video was shot. It was way too cheap by today's standards too. If I remember right, it was around $9K.

  • Since Dodge now has the "R/T classic" maybe a "T/A classic" should be a consideration. I bet it would a good sell.

  • Hi, do you knows what the color name is. . have search for top banana yellow but with bad results. thanks

  • Yup, Dodge did indeed call it Top Banana Yellow and Plymouth called it Lemon Twist Yellow.

  • i live in the worst time wish i was 16 when these were out. i have to look forward to toyota prius lol

  • My heart goes out to ya, kid. Sometimes, I wish I was 16 again but I sure wouldn't want to be 16 in this day and age. Keep the faith.

  • thanks, it sucks trying to get a job. i wanna finish my 94 dodge ram

  • I hear ya there. You can thank the liberal democrats for the horrible times we live in. I hope ya have luck finding a job. I take it from the "CTDiesel" that your Ram is a Cummins. I have a 2000 Ram 3500 Quad Cab Dually that I bought new in 1999. It's got 119,000 miles on it and is now retired to a life of leisure and occasionally towing the race car trailer around.

  • ya all the politcians should get kicked out and resigned but it ont happen. ha i just have a gas 360 i wish i had a cummins it wasent in my budget. nice do you have any videos of your cummins?

  • Hey a 360 will work just fine! I don't have any videos of the ol' Ram but I guess maybe I could take one this summer hooked to the race car trailer. The Ram is red and the new trailer is gray. All my Ohio racing buddies tell me the new trailer makes the whole rig look like an Ohio State Buckeyes rig being red and gray. And me being from Michigan, that just don't go over too well! LOL!

  • nice i would like to see it. lol, i might be going to college in ohio diesel in 2010 when i graduate

  • That sounds great! Ya oughta do pretty well working with diesels! Keep the faith! I'll try to come up with a video of Big Red this summer!

  • man, i would cut my arm of with a butter knife to have one of these cars, especially a R/T or T/A.

  • Get a good job, work hard and you can get yourself the '70 Challenger of your dreams without having to hack your arm off with a butter knife.

  • cool video too bad the guy sold that wicked car i hope he sold it 40 thousand or more

  • Ummmmmmmm...he sold it in 1987. I believe it was for around $7,500 which was pretty darn good money for a Challenger T/A back then, especially being a color change. This car was originally EF8 Dark Green Metallic.

  • wood have been more fun to catch the cuda

  • nice car ! but why beat the crap out of it ? it's a fastly appreciating musclecar.

  • Dude, these cars were meant to be driven and driven hard. Did you catch that this video was shot in 1986? If there's one thing I can't stand is people that treat these things like they're pieces of art or something. Ya only live once and take it from someone who knows, the ownership experience of these cars is MUCH more enjoyable when you drive these cars like they were meant to be driven.

  • do u still have this car

  • I was just the cameraman. The only Mopars I have are B-Body wing cars. The owner of the T/A shown in this video sold the car in 1987. Hey, you weren't even born yet!

  • haha yea i love the cars before my time my trucks an 87 lol

  • I hear ya there! Old cars totally rock!

  • Nice car..btw what is 340 Six Pack?

  • The 340 Six Pack means it's a 340 cubic inch engine with a "Six Pack" induction setup -- three tw0-barrel carburetors.

  • Love the car, just need to work on your burnouts a little and make some more smoke.

  • LOL! The dude who owned the car and did the burnouts in the video sold the car over 20 years ago! This video was shot in 1986.

  • Never mind them, lol.

  • Back in the day, you could pick up old Mopars (and just about everything else) for next to nothing. Those days are LONG gone.

  • great muscle car..

  • bad ass mopar! im glad i got a 1972 Dodge Charger SE with a 440

  • That's a way cool car you have. Check out the video I have posted of the original 440 Six Pack '72 Charger Rallye.

  • awesome car

  • very nice car!!!

  • lucky to have a dad with a barracuda.

  • nice

  • lol he almost hit the pole

  • damn i loved how that 64-66 cuda went by right as you pulled out haha. Mopar Or No Car baby!

  • Yeah it's funny watching some of this old footage. This one was shot in 1986 so none of the vehicles driving around on the roads is any newer than an '86. Dang, that was 22 years ago!!!

  • haha i wouldnt know about that im only 16, workin on a 69 Barracuda tho to be my first car haha. my dad is the first owner!

do you still have the Challenger?

  • That's awesome! Us old guys have to pass the torch to the younger generation or else the hobby will just end up withering away.

The Challenger was owned by someone I know here local. He bought the car in 1986 and he sold it in 1987. I think the car is still around here in the Detroit Metro area though.

  • man i would have kept that sucker!

and yeah youre right about passing the torch. im going to pass it down to my son even if i have to duct tape that sucker to his hand haha

  • I had a TA in mid 80's, mine was Hemi Orange. Only the wealthy younger generation will ever be driving these kind of cars. As one of the older guys, today, they are far out of my reach price wise. My time with them was in the 80's when it didn't cost a fortune to buy one.

  • 290 is what they said for insurance.. on engin dyno a 340 4bbl will do over 300.. a 6pak like 350 or more

  • Super, thanks for sharing!

  • Pretty cool !!!

  • i have a model of it with the same engine

  • This thing os uncontrolable!!!! Ha ha hah aha. Or you just can not drive.I dont know.May be is right.

  • cool cool cool

  • cool

  • cool cool
