I'd like to believe that in this world we may overcome, and evolve into better human beings, but the fact is,.You're all mostly animals. And for those that think they are better,You're nothing. So much for the days when this movie was made, and the hope for peace.
Ha, I think animals are a bit more civilized than humans. They take only what they need, unlike greedy selfish people. Of course, there are a few good individuals out there, like the peeps who made this movie.
I absolutely loved this animation as a child, it later became a staple of my life. I am a very different individual, never accepted by the norm."A F#@%ing joke" A standard set by those that think they are better than others,or think they are superior because they were born into a better social circumstance. IE mommy and daddys money Like I said joke..
I loved this as a kid. I think the story is about acceptance. The hero had to learn that what made him different was not necessarily the the thing that held him back. He had to learn that he had to accept himself and once he did so things came out all right.
BS! It's about non-conformism - a scary thing to those who invented the "politically correct" meme to hit liberals over the head with. So, if you look for political implications, you won't find the goose stepping party embracing it.
Of course, most people will just enjoy the music and cartoons - as it was meant to.
Ringo Starr of the Beatles is the narrator. "The Point" was created by the same studio that did the "Puff the Magic Dragon" trilogy with Burgess Meredith.
ahh, no kid's movie's like the point any more...

It's not politically correct because its about individualism. The media won't support it. I wish every child in America could view it.
