@chisox100, the problem is a lack of corporate sponsorship in most cities in Canada that don't have an NHL team already, the people might be able to support a lot of teams but you have to have that sponsorship to be successful. Unless the people going to the games want to pay a crap load of money for face value tickets.

I think Quebec and Winnipeg deserves an NHL team back and it seems that dream could come true.

As a Nucks fan, I strongly believe there should be more Canadian teams, and I heard that if someone doesn't purchase the Phoneix Coyotes by late December of this year, the team will eventually move out of Arizona back to where it all started "Winnipeg", but I also hope Quebec gets an NHL team back and let the battle of Quebec begin!

as much as I hate the way the NHL has moved too far south, hockey in Quebec City wouldn't work out because of the lack of English newspapers, radio stations, tv coverage, etc. Would make it too hard to attract an American or Scandinavian player to sign with them since it would be very hard living in a place that doesnt have many english accommodations
