  • That's amazing.

    I love Stewart.

  • its hard to judge sting from this bad quality video

  • nice work sting, nice and flat vocals!!

  • a little disappointing, i agree...

  • i think Sting is becoming more of a "studio singer" as he gets older. i don't know if it's from years of constantly singing at the highest end of his register or what, but it seems like every time i see him on TV he sounds like S-H-I-T.

did you see him sing "People, get ready" with Jeff Beck's group at the History Of Rock and Roll super concert (on HBO)? Jesus, he sounded terrible!...

  • stewart is the man!!

  • sorry but i saw Sting in better form...

  • Dodger Stadium is no venue for a concert. The colluseum is the only place for a concert this size. Rose Bowl is worse than this!.

  • Sting's voice sounds just as good as it did 20 years ago !!!!

  • tone is good but he's really FLAT!

  • Having seen as many concerts as I have, (last year alone was Genesis, The Police, Bjork, Norah Jones, John Mayer and Evanescence) I know that artists can't always sound like studio while live, but the experience of live blows studios away. This show of the Police at Dodger Stadium was incredible.

  • What are you guys talking about? Sting is greater than ever! And more smexy than all of you :D

His voice is onbelieveable - go and see the concert.. Then you'll change your mind..

Andy however.. He's boring.. And he looks as if he's bored under the hole concert..

  • true

  • :D Thanks ^^

  • He's not boring if you're a guitarist who's interested in how different kinds of chords get their sounds.... ;)

  • Of course, I just meant that he was looking bored xD He never smiled or looked like he was having fun.. And almost never looking at the audience..

  • Having seen the police this year i an categorically say there was nothing wrong with Sting's voice :)

This is just poor sound quality as nearly all the videos showing the police concerts are!

  • After watching a few vidoes of the tour this year, I'm really bummed I didn't get to see them.

  • Anyone talking shit on this song is mentally retarted. This is one of their best and one of the best songs Sting has ever written. Yes, this sounds like crap because of the quality but go out and buy one of their dvd's or go see them they sound amazing! New dvd of this tour coming out in the spring! Police forever!

  • not the beast sond....

  • Sting may not be so great at this point, but Stewart is still great.

  • nice work sting, nice and flat vocals!!

  • sounds absolutely dreadful. this is one of those songs they could drop and nobody would even notice - or care.

  • I cried and I laughed when they played this at Fenway. Had to be there.

  • r u kidding, this song was the hilight of their show, your a fag who dosent know what hes talking about

  • Watch him on Wrapped Around your finger in Seattle...

  • Watch Stewart Copeland switching to drums in perfect synch

  • As he usually does. Note Stink's once pristine voice diminished by time. Thanx for the vid.

  • Could just be bad monitors and/or hearing damage. It's often a serious pain to hear yourself and sing in tune in a rock band.

  • That's no excuse for a 30+ year experienced singer; there are wireless IEM's, voice exercises, keying down songs (what they actually did)... IMHO it's clear that the "stingised" Police is barely good for the memories, but with only Andy and Stu being the only real professionals worth the bill. I liked the guy who used to sing at the Police but Sting is just the same guy's grandpa. Period.
