  • Great!

  • These songs can always lift my spirits. The Clash can get my thoughts on more important things.

  • うわ!かっこ良すぎ!

  • Local gymnasium.

  • I love the moment where Topper is so close to the camera, no way, I love him.

  • Great album!!

  • Greatest band ever. Guy Stevens did something immeasurable to them. They hated Pearlman, but he and Topper made them great. Guy Stevens completed the destiny. Greatest band ever. Learn it. Live it. My wife's favorite band now, too. She gets it. Thank you God.

  • why is topper playing the guitar?

  • @radiomatrav that was exactly my reaction, does he play?

  • Why does this video include that famous scene of 'A few good man'?

  • priceless video of them

  • who's the woman at 3:31?

  • @Sweezee21 Everybody loves the Clash, they are fucking awesome!

  • Got my Fender guitar because of Joe, though I bought it a year or so ago, and am going through the painful process of learning it on an extremely basic level. I don't know what I'll play but I just want to at least know all of the notes.

  • thats cool man.... about 5 yrs ago.... i saw paul simonon and went out and bought a bass!!! lol. such an inspirational band

  • 'Four horsemen and they're pissing by you' - classic line from a classic era - best years of my life and then some.......

  • i've got this dvd, watch it about twice a week!!

  • there's nothing like The Clash. 30 years passed and nobody has come even close.

    this is timeless

  • I fucking love this video! <3

I felt kinda sad today, so I decided to listen to "I'm not Down", came across this video.. and it totally cheered me up!! Joe & Guy at the beginning ("Hold onto this" haha), Paul winking to the camera at 1:04, Mick cracking up around 1:55 and Topper playing the guitar (3:00) were the highlight of my day!

Thanks for putting this up : )

  • "I'm Not Down" & "Revolution Rock" got me thru some bad times back when

    Long Live the Clash

  • isnt it great watching four great blokes having a laugh, not realising how great and important their music was to become R I P joe strummer and god bless paul topper and mick always in my heart...

  • Fantastic. Thanks.

    RIP Joe.

  • I've gone thru 2 London Calling CD's because it keeps getting stolen. The essence of me is simple: I'm the person having a great time at a Clash concert. They rock you + pick you up from your slump and you feel triumphant. The Clash was VERY influential in my slumpy teen age years. To this day, their music gets my complete attention all the way to my soul.

  • I feel exactly the same way

  • i completely agree

i actually couldnt survive without the clash

  • guy stevens = muse

  • The guy jumping around is Guy Stevens, the producer. He was a fantastic nut, they loved him. He died a lonely alcoholics death, hence the song "Midnight to Stevens."

  • ....Okay he's funny. ....hehe...watch him bounce and hop!

  • that wee bearded man is creeping me out. ...hbe aint class he aint class.....hehe BUT THE FK CLASH ARE! .....THE ONLY BAND THAT MATTERS!

  • get terry chimes out of this montage!!

  • why?

  • cause he was a mad genius a la Scratch Perry, he created crazy insane environments in the studio which then reflected on the recordings.

  • @jostrum50 he isn't a member of the band lol.. topper headon is the one and the only clash drummer... he kicks a lot of ass at the drums too lol

  • i believe caroline coon.

  • their musician skills are overlooked, but espeically paul and topper. Who's the woman in there, in the middle?

  • isnt that toppers girlfriend u should have seen her in i think the clash on broadway with topper wow shes a stunner i tell u.

  • now I get to see JUST what an amazing producer guy stevens was. cheers for this

  • Only confirms it. I was born too late.

  • Very cool! Paul was a damn tight bass player, I think he's often overlooked.

  • to see a better version of this type in "clash in studio" It is the real video it shows them play 4 horsemen, the right profile and also guy steven going crazy. Instead of being covered by the songs it show the m playing. watch it. It is the coolest video ive seen. And they play other songs.

  • HAHAHaha Guy Stevens is so hilarious! this is fucking great !

  • AWSOME!!! FOUR HORSEMEN R0CKSSS!

  • What does he say at the ending of "Four Horsemen"?

    Thanks.

  • man, this 'i'm not down'song still gives me the shivers everytime i hear it. one of the best Clash songs!

    thanks 4 posting this one.

  • I can't beleive they only played it twice! Although I can se it being difficult with all the rythmic changes

  • I'm Not Down is the classic here as far as i am concerned - shows the Clash (MJ in particular) had developed into being able to translate very persoanl subjects into great soulful songs, not just pompous concepts such as FourHorsemen! Not Strummers greatest...

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • thanks so much for posting

  • Didn't know Topper played guitar.

  • Topper plays everything.

  • Me Neither!

  • Im related to Joe, damn i met him once and it like just before he died, that just sucks

  • thanx you for subitting a video w. "four horsemen" in it, thats my all time favourite song!!!! R.I.P. Joe Strummer

  • Very cool! And I've never seen Topper play the guitar...creepy.

  • Creepy? Damn....glad you said that it only confirms that assumptions is a a habit like smoking cancer sticks.

  • Nice! Who's that man with the beard by the way?

  • That's the late Guy Stevens who produced the London Calling album

  • Oh right, thanks. I was thinking "Wow. Is that Bill Bailey?"

  • stevens produced mott the hoople who joe and mick loved
