To the person comparing this to the Grace's version. Did you know Charlotte Caffey was part of the Grace's and penned this song. So only befitting Belinda cover this as well.
pffft This song was written by The Graces....which included Charlotte Caffey (go-go's guitarist) and Meredith Brooks of Bitch fame...
I love the go-go's...hell they inspired me to become a musician in the first place, but this is a very butchered version of the original. search for it on youtube here and tell me which version u like better!
@Barderella Belinda's is better. Caffey even openly admits that she wrote the song with Carlisle's voice in mind. And it really does make all the difference.
I'm a Huge Belinda Fan, But ahh this song should have never been released not a strong song she had so many more better song off Real, but she looks great in the video.
@Trescompadres1 No way! 'Real' is a weird album in that there's even less potential singles on it then any of them! This is a fire-blasting, eerie, blood-rushing tour-de-force after the average disappointment that was the lead off, the lucky Top20 single 'Big Scary Animal' which had a good enough verse but lacked the punch, power, pull & crazied-yet controlled vocal pyrotechnics that Bel gives ut on this chorus. Best Bel single of the next few years till 'Always Breaking My Heart'.
Along with singer Meredith Brooks. Just wanted to add.

@Trescompadres1 Agree. The original version by Charlotte Caffey's band was stronger. More rock imo.
