@ninasagarbarria I'm afraid not, that's just another extra. All the REAL actors had dressing rooms etc we had a portacabin, which was nice enough TBF.
I finished filming as an extra on Garrow's Law on Tuesday, It was my first time and a great experience, the cast were polite and my fellow extra's were fantastic.
I really don't think you are in a position to criticise, not being an extra yourself. The hours are long and our representation is/was rotten. I myself struggled through a month of work with less than 3 hours of sleep a day as I was commuting from Edinburgh. It's also worth mentioning that most of us have/had been doing it for years and at his point it has become just another tedious job.
@thebloodyawfulpoet Yes, watching the real actors work is fantastic but bare in mind it stops being enjoyable after the ninth take. The costumes are beautiful but after 12 hours under a boiling hot lamp they start to lose there appeal.
Why are all the TV extras so unenthusiastic about their job? I'd love to be an extra on Garrow's Law! The prestige of the show means it is a privilege to be a part of it, even if you are just in the background. Plus I'd love to get all the hair and makeup done - such fun! Real shame to see the extras of Garrow's Law are not as comitted as they should be. My estimation of the people working on this production has gone down a lot. Such a shame. :( Yes, the banter is good but no dedication!
At around 8:59 is that Andrew Buchan in the background with a cellphone?

@arantia It's definitely something you should do, great fun sometimes. There will be a few agencies in your area, have a look online.
