seeing you referred to yours as a mk4 your not from australia. there are a number of places that fabricate converion kits to suit windsor or cleveland into cortinas here in aus. castlemane rod shop in victoria. M D conversions in sydney he does a real good kit. engine plate, cross members, sumps, custom extractors, offset brake booster brackets etc etc. good luck.

wow, thats got to be the best cortina i have ever seen, im busy with my mk4 wagon at the moment and i was just wondering how much work is required to go v8?, also how much fabrication of parts like engine mounts is needed, any help would be great

It was sold to a nice bloke in the top end of Australia. He is happy with it as well.
I did have a Mark II Cortina when I was 21, I fitted a 400 Chev in it. It went well.
