Just a quick note to tell you that your video and soundtrack are well done and interesting in their own right. The music reminds me a LOT of Heaven 17's 1981 instrumental 'Decline of the West' (the flip side of 'Fascist Groove Thing')
Thank you very much. I am working in record new versions from the others Low instrumental tracks, too. I don't know about this song, but I will take a look
Manaquina, czy zdjecie ksiegarni, to jest tej z placu Komuny Paryskiej, gdzie David Bowie udal sie by kupic pare plyt, i ten "spacer" stal sie inspiracja do tego utworu?
I wrote that an inspiration for this song was polish Railord Station in Warsaw and everything what David saw there (and it was really awful and depressing, that's for sure).
I must tell you that not many things there had changed (Poland is different country now, better place to live, but the station is still the same).
This is brilliant, and compared to the original it is quite creepy.

Nice cover; David and Brian would approve. And the video is fantastic! Lovely imagery.

thanks for the video! however, the real inspiration was about different places... anyhow, the film shows it all - what the communist era was about...

I'm sorry friend, but I don't speak polish. Can you write in english?

are the pictures made in the neighbourhood of railroad station "Warszawa - Gdanska" in Warsaw?
Is the picture @ 2:07, the book store, where David Bowie went, and this trip was an inspiration to this song?
bprzybysz 3 years ago
hello! no, these pictures are from my city, here in Brazil. I just made a slideshow with them, as they suit fine each other, don't you think? heheh

Nie Dworzec centralny tylko Warszawa - Gdanska
Drobiazg, ale zawsze :D

Inspiracją były okolice Dworca Centralnego.
Myślę, że mogłyby być nadal dla niejednej przygnębiającej piosenki.

I''ll try, but I don't speak english well.

oh, thank you for this information. Poland is a country that I want to visit someday. But I live far, far away from there, here in Brazil.
manaquina 3 years ago
you know it is not that I think about my country as a bad place or something - not at all!
Poland is really interesting and beautiful country with traditions and difficult history.
Railway Station is a some kind of symbol - describe hard time in our history.
off course I invite you to see Poland.
If you come you can make sure of what I try to say :)
once again: sorry for mistakes.
